About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I specialize in giving animals individualized attention, keeping routines consistent, and making sure they feel loved and safe. Whether it’s walks, feedings, medications, or snuggles, I care for each pet as if they were my own. I’m also experienced with shy or anxious pets and work hard to make them feel at ease. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I schedule my day around the needs of the pets in my care—whether that means morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays. I’m flexible and committed to maintaining consistent routines, which helps pets feel secure. I prioritize communication with pet owners and make sure each visit is on time and tailored to the pet’s schedule. When caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, clean, and secure environment free of hazards, with close supervision and plenty of enrichment. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to keep pets comfortable in their familiar space. I respect the home and the pet’s routine, keep doors and gates secure, and provide regular updates so pet parents feel confident and informed. Safety and trust are at the core of how I care for every animal.

About: Hey there my name is Danielle, I have taken care of dogs of all ages ranging from puppies going through their first heat to senior dogs with lack of abilities. Growing up I had all sorts of pets in my home and enjoyed sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. Also one of my first jobs was at a dog boarding and day care facility. I love all breeds of dogs and cats and just want to keep them happy and healthy and have a fun time. I am new to the area and do not have a set schedule yet. I am free during most week days during typical working hours. I love the outdoors so any chance to get some sunshine. I have a fenced backyard, and my dog is friendly. I do not leave dogs unattended outside because I want to be sure they won't try to escape the yard or dig holes. When in a client's home I am sure to read all instructions given prior to my drop in. I make sure that the their pet is given my full attention during my time there. If I have any questions I am not afraid to ask. I will also send updates and photos if requested.

About: I have always loved and cared for animals. My personal experience actually started with my first love Sancho- a rescue chi that taught me how to manage and care for a dog that had been abused and needed special attention. At the end of his life he dealt with congestive heart failure so was on several medications, and peanut butter was the only way he would take them. I also became proficient at administrating medications. Really hard to lose a pet but just makes you realize how much love they provide you. Thoughout the years I have cared for friends and family’s animals while they were out of town or housesat for them as well. My latest adventures have been with Trusted Housesitters, and the past 3 months I have been graced to travel far and wide taking care of people’s pets and homes while they were able to relax and travel themselves knowing I was keeping their house and pets safe and sound. My experience included spending time and caring for all different types of dogs and different personalities from bull terriers, mixed breeds, frenchies, sherpards down to tea cup poodles all sizes and breeds. The responsibilities included feeding, administering meds, exercising and caring for the owners pets while I was staying in their home. I truly found my passion in life caring and loving for pets. I would love the opportunity to care for your animals. I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I can stop over and feed and walk and spend time with your pets as needed. Or I can watch and take care of your pets overnight at your house just depending on your preference or needs. I can visit your home to care for your pets so they can stay in comfort of their home. I can also exercise them if needed. I can also stay overnight with your pets.

About: I have experience with cats and dogs of many different kinds! I have taken care of both geriatric & adolescent aged animals. As well as having experience with animals who have special needs like blindness, deafness, and giving medication. I hope to meet your babies soon! I'm currently working full-time but wanting to supplement my income with jobs before and after my work hours during the week and on the weekends. PS. I will be in school starting August and will have more availability during the week then! I will not be able to provide sitting services for any pets inside of my home as I already have multiple animals like cats, dogs, chickens, and fish at my home.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, currently with 3 dogs ranging from 4 lbs to 65 lbs, 4 goofy cats, and enough fish tanks to rival a small aquarium in my home. When I left the US Army in 2012, I started working with animal rescue organizations and it became a passion of mine. I will provide intensive home care to geriatric dogs with complex health needs, including cancer, seizures, tracheomalacia, and diabetes. I have experience with puppy training and caring for adult dogs of all sizes. I have also cared for cats, lizards, turtles, horses, and a variety of fish! Whatever your pet care needs are, I’m certain I can take good care of your furry family. I work full time Monday through Wednesday, and am available for pet care Thursday through Sunday with flexible hours including early mornings to late evening. I prefer to meet your pets before the first appointment, so that I can see their environment and be familiar with their daily routine in order to best care for them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats all of my life. Starting with my own, then family & friends to others animals while they enjoy a relaxing vacation. I currently have 2 dogs, a cat, and chickens of my own! I m currently a stay at home mama to a little boy and typically am free most every day. I can do check ins/play time anytime! About: My name is Alexandria, and I’ve had a passion for animals since childhood. I grew up helping on a farm until I was 12 and began working for a dog groomer at 14 which i stopped around 16, gaining valuable experience in animal care. I currently have two German Shepherds and three cats, and I’ve always been the go-to sitter for family and neighbors. Whether it's walking, feeding, or providing special care for senior pets or puppies, I bring love and dedication to every pet I care for. Currently on summer break from college and working part-time, I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Whether it's daily walks or playtime, I can easily accommodate any pup or kitty into my routine. My schedule allows me to give them the attention and care they deserve, ensuring peace of mind for you while you’re away. While I don’t have a fenced yard due to Hurricane Helene, I’m happy to walk your pet using your preferred method. If your pet has access to a fenced yard, I’ll keep a watchful eye to ensure they’re happy and safe while they run around. I prioritize their well-being, making sure they get the exercise, play, and attention they need, whether it's on a walk or in the yard.

About: I love all animals. I have experience working as an animal control officer and an animal advocate in a shelter. I enjoy spending as much time with furry friends as possible. I have two dogs of my own and understand how much pets mean to a family. I'll treat your pets as my own. I promise to take good care of your loved ones and spoil them endlessly with love. I am available for dog walks, dog sitting, and dog drop ins. I am more than happy to watch large breed dogs and dogs that get the unfortunate label as "aggressive breed" dogs, as I own a German Shepherd and a Great Dane myself. I also have experience working with other animals as well (cats, bunnies, hamsters, horses, you name it!) I am currently available full time, as I have a WFH job with flexible hours. I prefer at least a week notice for longer stays, to make sure proper arrangements are made. Of course emergencies do pop up and I will do my best to be available for last minute emergency care. I have a fenced in dog run that provides sunlight, shaded areas, a pool during the summer, and a nice cot for sunbathing. I can also crate your furry friend if that is what they prefer.

About: Why should you consider entrusting your precious pup to my care? These 7 reasons may be important to you: - Your dog(s) will have 100% of my care and attention! I only host one client's dog(s) at a time, and I don't have any pets of my own (just great memories.) When your pup stays with me they'll feel like it's their home away from home, where they're loved and cherished.. My rate is higher than some because of this limitation; in return, my dedication to your pet's personal needs is unsurpassed - as you can see from my excellent reviews. (NOTE: I will take care of up to 2 dogs from the same family.) - I am a totally devoted dog lover. Dogs come first in my book. Caring, paying attention to the the ways in which they communicate, ensuring they are happy, calm, secure puppies... makes me happy! - I'm quite comfortable with very large dogs, and also have experience with dogs who experience separation anxiety issues. - I follow your directions! Your wish is my command regarding food, walks, verbal commands to use, toys, and any other special instructions. - I am a mature, dependable adult; have raised children; own my own home; no smoking, no drugs. You can trust me to make responsible decisions in an emergency. - I have a big yard that outdoorsy dogs really enjoy for potty breaks, playing catch, soaking up the sun, and supervising squirrels. - I have a quiet home (kids grown, beloved pets long gone) where I spend most days doing internet research and writing; lots of time for hanging out with and being a companion to your pet(s). I'm also within a short drive of the dog park and hiking trails, if that's appropriate to your pet's disposition and exercise abilities. Why I love dog sitting My family always had dogs: everything from Great Danes to Pomeranians, from show dogs to rescue dogs. Personally I have always felt a strong bond and mutual understanding with dogs. Since my last dog passed away, I have looked for the opportunity to spend time with canine friends, and Rover has provided a great opportunity for me to do just that. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, and have special understanding of dogs with separation anxiety and geriatric dogs. Meet my pets No other pets here - just yours! Looking forward to meeting! About my yard I have a big backyard that has lots of areas to explore all fully-fenced and dog friendly. The back yard is great for quick rest-stop needs (eg, if nature calls in the middle of the night) and on beautiful days it's nice to just hang out there and watch the squirrels and birds in the trees. My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral and noninvasive medications, but not comfortable doing injections. When I'm caring for a pet I really enjoy their company, so spend most of the time hanging out with them or taking them places with me, if appropriate depending on the pet. If your pet has special needs like separation anxiety or a strict medication schedule, I plan my schedule around their care and comfort. I have a big, fully fenced back yard that is wonderful for sniffing around, playing fetch, watching birds and squirrels, and hanging out together when the weather's nice. In the house your pup is welcome to hang out wherever I am at the moment - kitchen, desk, bedroom. Sleeping arrangements will be per your instructions.

About: Hi! I’m Barry, and I’m excited to offer pet sitting and dog walking services here on Rover. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, as well as birds and reptiles. At home, I have two pups of my own—Sergio, a husky mix, and Emi, a Shiba Inu—so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. I’m comfortable administering medications, sticking to specific feeding schedules, and giving your pets plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I offer drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care. I also welcome fixed dogs into my home, where they’ll enjoy a large, fully fenced-in yard for safe, supervised outdoor time. I’m new to the Aiken area and currently live in Trolley Run. I’d love to help give you peace of mind while you’re away—whether it's for a weekend, a vacation, or just a long day at work. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! As a retired pet lover with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. About: I am a very out-going, animal-lover who has grown up with pets my entire life. I have had animals ranging from lizards, birds, cats, snakes, all the way to chinchillas. I have also trained dogs in the past and take great pride in the training and mannerism of my own 4 fur babies. As I am sure you can see from my photos, my dogs, as well as each and every animal that I walk, dog-sit, or provide any service for, I treat as my own and love them entirely! I will provide the best love and utmost care that is physically possible when watching your furry (or hairless ;)) little (or big) friends. As I do not have any kids myself, I like to call my own dogs my children. I understand the stress of trusting another individual to watch your pet, but I promise to keep them extremely safe, make sure they get tons of potty breaks, and even let them snuggle with me on the couch, bed, in the grass, and throughout my entire home! I am highly trained in animal body language, behavior, and how to also deal with stressed out, aggressive, or disabled animals. I will ALWAYS make myself available to talk with you about your pet, answer any questions you may have, and do anything and everything that I can to ensure your pet is safe with me. I firmly believe that while I am keeping an eye on this member of your family, they are apart of mine for the time being. I currently work in the office Monday-Wednesdays, work from home on Thursdays, and am available 24/7 Friday-Sunday. Having 4 fur babies of my own, pet care fits into my weekly routine as I will be fully invested on the days I am available to provide service for you and your pet. I have a full-time job, but I love animals and want to be around them more. When caring for pets in my own home, I do a safety walk through, ensure I have all proper and required materials for their care, and can even set up a fence divider in my backyard in the instance that the dog or pet I am caring for is preferred to be alone. I do have dogs myself, however, they are all extremely trained and get along well with all animals. I understand that it may be a preference to keep my dogs separate from your furry friend, and that is no problem. With our home being 2 stories and nearly 4,000 square feet, there is plenty of room for your pet to still be comfortable and have the free range that they want. Safety and trust is my #1 priority when caring for your pet, so any accommodations that need to be made, I am on it!

Laura R.

“Laura is my mother. Her ability to care for dogs is amazing. When I was growing up, we had a big dog named Lady who my mother cared for deeply. I would definitely recommend Laura as a dogsitter because she adores dogs (both big and small), has years of experience taking care of them, and always has their best interests in mind. The dog is old but needs to go somewhere? She makes sure to carefully lift them into the car. The dog likes the beach? She'll take them out even if she feels chilly and lovingly towel them off if they're wet. Anyone who asks Laura to dogsit will be delighted to have such a caring, attentive woman to watch their best friend.”
