Growing up I had all sorts of pets in my home and enjoyed sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. Also one of my first jobs was at a dog boarding and day care facility. About: I have always loved and cared for animals. My personal experience actually started with my first love Sancho- a rescue chi that taught me how to manage and care for a dog that had been abused and needed special attention. At the end of his life he dealt with congestive heart failure so was on several medications, and peanut butter was the only way he would take them. I also became proficient at administrating medications. Really hard to lose a pet but just makes you realize how much love they provide you. Thoughout the years I have cared for friends and family’s animals while they were out of town or housesat for them as well. My latest adventures have been with Trusted Housesitters, and the past 3 months I have been graced to travel far and wide taking care of people’s pets and homes while they were able to relax and travel themselves knowing I was keeping their house and pets safe and sound. My experience included spending time and caring for all different types of dogs and different personalities from bull terriers, mixed breeds, frenchies, sherpards down to tea cup poodles all sizes and breeds. The responsibilities included feeding, administering meds, exercising and caring for the owners pets while I was staying in their home. I truly found my passion in life caring and loving for pets. Looking forward to meeting! About my yard I have a big backyard that has lots of areas to explore all fully-fenced and dog friendly. The back yard is great for quick rest-stop needs (eg, if nature calls in the middle of the night) and on beautiful days it's nice to just hang out there and watch the squirrels and birds in the trees. My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral and noninvasive medications, but not comfortable doing injections. When I'm caring for a pet I really enjoy their company, so spend most of the time hanging out with them or taking them places with me, if appropriate depending on the pet. If your pet has special needs like separation anxiety or a strict medication schedule, I plan my schedule around their care and comfort. I have a big, fully fenced back yard that is wonderful for sniffing around, playing fetch, watching birds and squirrels, and hanging out together when the weather's nice. In the house your pup is welcome to hang out wherever I am at the moment - kitchen, desk, bedroom. Sleeping arrangements will be per your instructions.

I have also trained dogs in the past and take great pride in the training and mannerism of my own 4 fur babies. As I am sure you can see from my photos, my dogs, as well as each and every animal that I walk, dog-sit, or provide any service for, I treat as my own and love them entirely! I will provide the best love and utmost care that is physically possible when watching your furry (or hairless ;)) little (or big) friends. I understand the stress of trusting another individual to watch your pet, but I promise to keep them extremely safe, make sure they get tons of potty breaks, and even let them snuggle with me on the couch, bed, in the grass, and throughout my entire home! When caring for pets in my own home, I do a safety walk through, ensure I have all proper and required materials for their care, and can even set up a fence divider in my backyard in the instance that the dog or pet I am caring for is preferred to be alone. I do have dogs myself, however, they are all extremely trained and get along well with all animals. I understand that it may be a preference to keep my dogs separate from your furry friend, and that is no problem.
