About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable. In the beginning I expect normal hesitation, so I am patient and playful to earn trust until everyone is comfortable.

About: I have had dogs since I was in preschool. I started my understanding of them and other animals when I turned nine. Since then, I always have had my and other people’s pets interest at heart. Today, my dogs are ages eight and eleven and I am their most trusted person in the house. I’ve trained them both despite being in school and I take care of their hygiene. This includes brushing their fur, washing them, and cleaning their teeth. When I am not taken care of their hygiene, I make sure they have a daily playtime or cuddle session so they have some love everyday. I have a part time job that requires me to work on Friday evenings, some Mondays, Wednesday nights, Friday nights, and Sunday however I do have a cancellation on those days sometimes and I will let clients know. Other than that I am very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. If I am unable to work, I will communicate immediately to the best of my ability. I make sure hazards are out of range and site of the animal in care. I don’t rush the bond, and take it to the pet’s pace for trust. At home, my dogs at senior dogs that I have trained since they were puppies and we have a lot of trust in each other and a great bond. I can’t perform service at my own house since I have a toddler sibling who my dogs have gotten used to but I do not want to stress anyone’s pets out. We also have family members who have allergies.
About: Active Dog Loving Grandparents We enjoyed the pleasure of having pets our entire lives, they have brought us a sense of peace and joy and best of all unconditional love. Our best friends have been Boston Terrier’s, German Sheppard’s, American Bulldogs and Boxers. They are all unique in their personalities but all love to be loved, just like us. We are retired so one of us are at home all the time. We live on a great fence property with an awesome nieghborhood that we love to take walks around multiple times a day (weather permitting.) The dogs usually have a grand time taking a run around the property and playing. Should it be too warm of course they enjoy the air conditioning ? Now that our children are grown and married with children/dogs we occasionally keep their Boxer brother (Duke) and sister (Honey) and our grandchildren too. You can feel safe leaving your pets in our care. We will look after them and love them like our own! In fact, they may not want to leave as our grand-dogs do? About: Hi, I've been around pets for the last 15ish years with that I've learned that not all dogs are the same and will react the same way towards everyone. I have worked with dogs who were previously in shelters, nervous dogs, fearful dogs, and anxious dogs. I have experience dog sitting small and big dogs. I have potty trained my own dogs and have helped friends potty train as well. I'm comfortable with bathing, brushing, feeding, walking, and interacting with dogs. I have worked with special needs dogs and am comfortable changing their diapers, applying creams and ointments, and applying wraps or bandages if needed. I'm comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and brushing cats. I've also taken care of small reptiles like bearded dragons and geckos, as well as birds like cockatiels and parakeets. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
