Dog Walkers in Lux, MS

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Having had multiple breeds myself, I am familiar with the different needs that dogs require. I’m a certified dog trainer who is available for walks, boarding, drop ins and daycare. I am a stay at home mom, who has two dogs of her own. My schedule is pretty flexible for walks and daycare. I’m available pretty regularly. I have a fenced in yard, that contains my two Australian Shepherds. It is a chain link fence so dogs will be able to see through the fence. I let my dogs out regularly to play, where they have access to water outside as well as inside. While dogs are playing, I am present in order to intervene if there is any issues that arise (dogs are unpredictable and can get overwhelmed at times). Dogs are allowed on the furniture in the house, and will have access to toys to play with.

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. My first pet was a stray cat I named Smokey when I was 3 years old. We rescued my first dog, Lucky, from the pound for my fourth Christmas. I was gifted my first chocolate lab, Wesson, for my 6th birthday. I rescued a litter of kittens who’s mom got ran over by a car when I was 10. I still have two of those cats to this day - Prince and Tiggy (14 years old, happy, and spoiled rotten). When I went off to college I adopted my soul dog, a black lab I named Enzo, from the Humane Society. Unfortunately, he passed away in November of last year. The point is, I’m a genuine animal lover who will treat your pets like my own - because that’s what they’ll be in my care. Nothing brings me more joy than a dog licking my face or a cat rubbing against my leg. I promise your babies are safe with me. Not only will they be safe, they’ll be happy :) I’m currently working full time Monday through Friday 8-5. I can walk dogs, check on pets, play with them, etc. before 8 AM, during my lunch break 12-1, and after work (5 PM). I am completely open and free on Saturdays and Sundays. My apartment has a fenced in dog park right across from my apartment building that is very rarely used, but in good condition. I have two cats that I can keep locked on one side of the house if your animals prefer no company :). I am very flexible and can adjust to most needs your babies might have!

About: Nice to meet you! I’m Victoria! I’m a high school English teacher looking to make some extra cash over summer break. I’ve been taking care of animals through Rover for about 4 years now and I’d love to add some more babies to the mix! I’ve taken care of animals all my life! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters multiple times over the last couple of years! I have four, yes 4, cats of my own who I love more than anything so I feel very confident in my abilities to take care of cats and I’ve had dogs all of my life. I’ll always do my best to treat your babies like they’re my own :) Pet care is an everyday thing for me. I have 4 cats and I love each of them so much it's insane. Of course, I do my best to scoop their litter boxes as often as possible and make sure they always have water. Even when I'm tired or don't feel like scooping, I do my best to take good care of my babies, even if it's just giving them a little extra attention. They are my world :) Like most people, I believe animals should be treated with love and patience. My animals are given lots of love and attention. Making sure my cats have everything they need and all the love possible is so important to me! I am more than happy to give your animals as much love as I can! Making sure they have enough food, water, and outside time is vital to keeping them happy and healthy. If any medicine should be administered, I will make sure to administer it correctly and at the correct times to ensure they are as taken care of as possible.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. whether it’s a senior pup who needs meds and slow strolls or a hyper goofball who loves to fetch for hours. I treat every dog like my own: with love, patience, and lots of belly rubs. What sets me apart? I pay attention to the little things like quirky habits, favorite nap spots, or that weird way your dog likes their toy thrown. I’m reliable, quick to communicate, and genuinely love hanging out with dogs (sometimes more than people, if we’re being honest). Whether it’s a quick walk or a weekend stay, your pup will get 100% of my care and attention. I am a PhD student at USM. I’m currently teaching and taking classes online for the summer so I have a lot of free time and flexibility. Once school starts I’ll still be pretty flexible When I care for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I follow your instructions closely whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, walk routines, or favorite toys and I make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and heard (yes, I talk to them like they’re people). I treat your home with the same respect I’d want for mine: clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. I also provide regular updates so you always know your pup is happy and in good hands. Your dog gets my full attention, every visit.

About: I have been riding horses for 10+ years therefore I have a lot of experience handling animals (especially large ones). I also have 2 cats as well, who are my babies. I have experience pet sitting and dog walking, with many breeds! Each animal deserves all the love and the best care, so let me give that care to your fur baby! I am a graduate student so I do have class during the week. I am hoping to fit pet care into my schedule whenever I can and whenever the opportunity pops up. I love all animals, so just getting to play with your pets for even 20 minutes would make my day! Although I will not be offering in home services, I will be offering pet sitting services in the client’s home. I can take your pets for walks, let them outside, put them in their crate, and provide all other care for them as well.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs at a time, if not more, for most of my life. I’ve had 4 cats. I also grew up with nine goldfish caught from the fair that are all still alive today. I currently have one family dog, one family cat, and nine goldfish. I am a full time student at USM and an active member of the sorority, Delta Delta Delta. I will make this job one of my top priorities. At home, my dog is well trained and she is an outside and inside dog. She loves going on boat rides and we make sure that she gets plenty of love all the time. For clients, I will precisely follow instructions and treat the client’s pet like my own.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was young and have plenty of experience with being a sitter. I also have a degree in biology/zoology which provides me work more information on the furry friends I work with. I am currently a pilates instructor who makes my own schedule so I am plenty flexible. I will most likely be available on the weekends. I live in a safe apartment with my husband. We have no pets or kids. We have a large field in the back of our apartment which would be great for a leashed fur baby to play in.

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs since I was 8. I have helped train dogs from puppy age to do basic commands as well as crate train. I’m currently a full time graduate student but I have online classes so in the mornings and evenings I have plenty of time to care for your pets. With my personal pet and others I ensure there is a harness and leash available for walks to make it safer and easier for me and the pet.

About: Animals are genuinely my passion, hence why I’m going to school to work with them full time; I used to want to be a Veterinarian, but my life path has since changed because of my internship at the NEW Zoo in Green Bay. I've always had a soft spot for dogs and furry creatures of all sorts, but growing up outside I fell in love the scaly, slimy, and six legged friends as well. I had a few reptiles growing up and currently own a mildly venomous snake, so I thought a Zookeeper might be more my path; working with exotic animals is definitely my dream! I just graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science with a companion animal emphasis, meaning the pets we have in our homes is what I specialize in! I worked on and off at a dog day care in De Pere, WI for three years, along with personally owning small breeds to extra-large breeds, I believe I'm quite knowledgeable in the pet world! My roommate's and cousin's dogs know me as the "toy person" because I'm always there to have a good time. I also have and adore cats, along with any pet for that matter! Animals are what makes MY world go round and I don’t know where I’d be without them, I love all animals! The job market is insane right now, and no matter how many jobs I apply to they always find someone else to fill the position or never respond in the first place, so my schedule is WIDE OPEN! Whatever you need me to do I will! I love being outside, so walks, the dog park, just hanging out or even hiking can all be accomplished. I’m trained in nail trimming (including cats and larger rodents) and any basic grooming needs, like baths and teeth brushing, so I can do those as well! I love to just play with animals, so give me a dog or cat toy and I’ll sit in the floor with them for hours. And whatever schedule you feed/ have bathroom breaks/ walk your animals on I can guarantee I will stick to that schedule!

About: Since I can remember, my family has always had cats and dogs around. My aunt and uncle raise Belgian malinois and have had German shepherds so I know a lot about both breeds! I frequently petsit for a friend who has a bull mastiff mix. In addition, I have two dogs of my own and 5 cats. I also foster as often as I can so I have experience with short term care of animals. Currently I am on summer break as a teacher so my schedule is very open. During the school year (starting mid July), I am more limited to weekends and afternoons/evenings. I have a fenced in back yard for my two dogs and they sleep inside at night. All of my cats are inside cats and have a large scratching post and plenty toys to occupy them during the day!

About: I love animals and treat them like there my kids only the best for the furbabies have raised them since I was a little child I stay at home every day so I can be here with the pets 24/7 so you will never have to worry if someone is watching them I usually ask thr owner what there animals are accustomed to and try to follow there schedual to keep there animal feeling at home as.much as possible

About: I have great experience with dogs, I have one on my own and I understand the unconditional love that is shared between them. I would love to watch your furbaby! I’m currently in season for ULM basketball but check in with me for availability! As I mentioned I have a dog on my own so I can make time. I don’t have a fenced yard but, I have play areas where I can take your furbaby and we can have a great time. I have 2yr old Long-haired German Shepherd that is a friendly butterfly and play so well with other dogs, if your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs I can have mines put up at my neighbors home.

About: My family has always had LOTS of pets and animals. For over 10 years, we would take in homeless sweethearts, foster them until they were healthy and ready, and re-home them. Now, I have four cats who are very full of personality and a sweet 9 year old (still my baby) pitbull that I love more than most good things in the world :D Currently, I am a full time manager at Books-a-million, where I've been for three years. However, I'm leaving in February and moving to Rover full time because I love Dogs more than I love books! I stay in an apartment with my four cats. It's spacious for them but this is why I won't board in my own home. I don't want to make them uncomfortable by adding more animals to their space. My dog is actually back home with my mom now. She has a bad hip and the stair were too much for her :( My happiness<Her Health

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I started seriously taking responsibility on my dogs at 16 years old. I know how to walk, play, bathe, feed, etc. I am a graduate college student with a light work load and a flexible work schedule, so working with pets fits into my schedule perfectly. I pay close attention to my dogs at home to prevent injuries or harm which will also apply to your pup! I don’t rush the pups on their walk & enjoy spending the time outside with them.

About: Growing up my neighbor would always get me to go over to her house twice a day and make sure her cats are feed and the litter box was clean. As I grew older I started taking care of family friends pets and anyone else who needed it. I would take them for a walk, feed them, and play with them or anything else that they needed I am an online college student so i have my own schedule when it comes to school and have freedom to work when i can I love taking my dog Max outside and playing fetch it’s his favorite thing to do and take him on walks around the neighborhood. Max gets spoiled at my house always getting treats and cuddles
