“Madelyn dude wonderful job watching my two sweet dogs. It’s so nice to get such good feedback during a time when I had to be away. I would definitely use Madelyn again.”

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, so it is much more than just a job to me. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. From energetic dog who needs extra walks and playtime to a cat who prefers a quiet visit, fresh food, and space to warm up on their own terms. With multiple years of pet-sitting experience, I’m comfortable handling daily feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, playtime, potty breaks, litter box care, medication when needed, basic cleanup, overnight routines, and plenty of affection and reassurance while you’re away. My flexible schedule allows me to work with a variety of care needs, including daytime drop-ins, walks, extended visits, overnight stays, and last-minute requests when availability allows. I know how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule and keep owners updated, so you can relax knowing your animals are safe, happy, and cared for like family. I also bring professional dog-grooming experience and training to every visit. Working as a groomer has taught me how to read dog body language, safely handle dogs with different temperaments, and help even nervous pets feel more comfortable. I have experience working with a variety of breeds, and sizes. My grooming background gives me an extra level of confidence in recognizing when a dog may be stressed, uncomfortable, or simply needs a little extra patience. I specialize in working with high anxiety or animal with special needs. My goal is to provide dependable, loving, and personalized care that fits both your pet’s needs and your schedule. I currently work part time as a dog groomer a few days a week. However my schedule allows for a lot of flexibility. I am able to accommodate almost any schedule. I’m comfortable handling daily feeding and fresh water, walks and exercise, playtime, potty breaks, litter box care, medication when needed, basic cleanup, and overnight routines. I can also provide in-home baths and nail trims for dogs with a small additional fee.
“Emma was such a great kitty sitter! I have a highly social cat and was nervous at the thought of leaving her for the weekend. Emma asked questions and took notes to ensure my little fur baby was well cared for and felt loved while we were away. Emma took pics of kitty every visit which was very reassuring.”

About: Hi! I’m Morgan, an experienced pet caregiver with a background working with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and species—both inside and outside the veterinary field. Along with caring for my own pets and family members’ animals (including fish and even tarantulas!), I’ve developed the skills and confidence to provide attentive, reliable care for pets of all kinds. Whether your pet needs feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or extra TLC, I’m committed to following their routine exactly as instructed. My veterinary experience has also given me a strong attention to detail, allowing me to recognize potential medical concerns and provide thoughtful care while you’re away. I have references from veterinary technicians as well as previous coworkers and boarding facility owners, and I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and trustworthy. I’m currently pursuing online schooling in wildlife rehabilitation, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer care throughout the week—including weekends. I can accommodate nearly any feeding, walking, or medication schedule, and I’m happy to care for puppies, seniors, and pets with special needs. I also come prepared with cleaning supplies, treats, extra food, and a pet first-aid kit so I’m ready for whatever your pet may need. My goal is simple: to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, so you can have complete peace of mind. I actively work M-F at a Veterinary Hospital, and I am in the process of entering online schooling for wildlife rehabilitation, which should have no issue with my caretaking availability! I am able to take care of your pets any day, any time, including on weekends! I can work with any type of feeding, walking, and medicating schedule needed for your pets, and am always happy to clean up any accidents from pups or elders! I always try to bring my own set of cleaning supplies, treats, extra food, and a pet first-aid kit so I can be 100% prepared for any scenario that may come my way.
“Victoria was wonderful! Super responsive, communicative, flexible, and took great care of our cats. We could tell that she quickly won over our kitties (not an easy feat) with the personable pictures she shared daily. Definitely would recommend.”

“She leaves extremely detailed reports with many pictures and knows her way around a cat’s quirky personality. Becca did drop ins for me while I was out of town for a week and I was really impressed. I will definitely rebook.”

I have experience caring for sick/injured pets that require a more delicate touch. I am currently taking a gap year before starting my masters and am free most days, so I’ll be able to dedicate as much time as is needed for your furry friends I have a car of my own with pet friendly seats that can accommodate most pets and I am willing to drive to and from homes in order to provide care.
About: Hi! My name is Alaina and I work part time at a dog daycare, so I’m around all kinds of dogs every day—big, small, shy, energetic, you name it. I’m also certified in dog behavior and first aid through my workplace, a nationally recognized dog daycare and boarding company. I have a lot of hands-on experience with different temperaments, and I’m especially comfortable working with nervous or reactive dogs though my favorite are working breeds! I focus on reading body language, keeping things low-stress, and helping each dog feel safe and understood. I truly love being around animals, and I’ll care for your pet like they’re my own 💗 Currently, I work 6:45 am to 12:30 pm every weekday at a dog daycare located in Edmond so rest assured, whether your pup sleeps in or wakes up at the crack of dawn, I am able to accommodate! :) I take time to learn each pet’s routine, body language, triggers, and comfort level so they feel secure and stress-free. I closely supervise pets, keep doors/gates secure, follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, and maintain a clean environment. I’m also comfortable handling nervous, reactive, high-energy, or senior dogs and always use positive reinforcement and patience to build trust. In clients’ homes, I respect their space and follow all care instructions exactly as requested while providing regular updates, photos, and communication for peace of mind.
“Dylan was amazing with our dogs. Poppins has anxiety with new people but Dylan worked with her and was very patient. He went above and beyond for our dogs. I highly recommend him for any service and we will be using him again for our dogs.”

About: I have been a dog parent since I was 8 years old. I believe pets shape us into the humans we are and give us love no one can ever give. My goal is to make sure your pets are taken care of when their parents are in need of assistance. For years I have found different ways to care for my pets even when I can not be home most of the time. I am always able to find time to make sure pets are fed and cared for whenever their owners need me to do that. Making sure pets are comfortable is my priority. I will be coming into their home as a complete stranger. Letting them lead the way is always my go to.

About: I’ve had years of experience with taking care of pets, including my own. I’ve also house and pet sit for my neighbors at times since I was in high school and I love to take care and make animals happy! I’ve also had experience with taking care of a senior dog last year for a family member’s parents. I’m currently doing contract work at Life.Church especially on the weekends, local musician, and will be quitting another job soon. My availability is open anytime Monday-Saturday, I can also do a drop in visit for your pet even on days where I’m busy at church! Just work out a time and let me know when you need and we’ll work out a time that fits both of us and your pet! :) I have a Guinea pig that I take care of everyday, and 2 small dogs that my mom owns, and a bird. I am looking for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting for you type jobs and not boarding visits.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Luther. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
