“Such a wonderful experience. Loved all the pictures and videos sent. My Sasha had such a wonderful time playing with all the pups and yard. Will plan for the next stay as my dog is so happy with her stay.”

“Vicky and her family were absolutely amazing hosts for our lab. They sent us pictures and videos often, and it was clear that he was loved and cared for the whole time. We even had a delay on our return, and they were super flexible and kind about it. Our boy has poor eyesight, which made me nervous to leave him in a new place, but I could tell they made sure he was safe and comfortable. I am so grateful to Vicky and her family for taking such great care of him.”

“Alexis is great! She communicates, sends pictures, is very flexible and I could just tell my girl Carmen felt like she was right at home. We will definitely ask her to take care of Carmen again.”

“Amber is a great dog- sitter! She sent us pictures and videos often, of our dog, with updates on his status. She took him on lots of adventures! He was so well cared- for! Thank you, Amber!”

“Kaylee is phenomenal! Leaving our dogs is always anxiety inducing because we want to make sure they are loved the way we love them, Kaylee was able to work with us even when we needed to change up the reservation a little bit due to changes with our plans. Her communication is incredible and she responded almost immediately anytime I sent a message. She loved our dogs like they were her own and they were so happy at the end of the stay that we immediately knew anytime we are looking for someone to watch our dogs, Kaylee will be our first call. If you need someone that will go above and beyond, take care of your dogs the way you want them to be cared for and know your in the best hands ever, Kaylee is your girl!”

About: I am a retired science teacher with a very flexible schedule. I was a Great Dane mom for 20 years and have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am recently retired and still building my "new" routine, which currently has lots of time to care for your dog(s) either in your home or possibly mine. I currently have no pets (my dog in passed in July, 2023) and I hope that my work with Rover will bring some extra joy to my days as well as those of your dog(s). I also enjoy hobbies such as golf, daily workouts/walks, and reading. At my home, I have a beautiful back yard that is great for quick walks or potty breaks on leash. The local park is only a 10-minute walk away. My large deck is a great place for dogs to get some fresh air, weather permitting. The main level of the home is mostly hardwood floors. I have plenty of space for a crate and food/water bowls. I am a respectful, responsible individual and will follow your instructions for pet care and visits with care and the greatest attention to detail.
“I would definitely recommend Sarah for watching your dog. She took such good care of my Murphy while I was away on an unexpected work trip. Sarah sent lots of pictures and updates. Murphy seemed right at home there on her big comfy couch.”

“Cynthia took wonderful care of my cat while I was travelling for 3 weeks! Seeing the pictures of them playing and cuddling together made me feel totally at ease. She truly treated him like a part of her family. He loved it so much I don't think he was even ready to come home at the end!”

“Sheree has saves us one more time and this time by hosting Lulu last minute and also allowing us to leave her overnight even if it wasn’t our original plan. Thank you for your kindness and helping us!”

“Lisa was fantastic. This was our first time using this service for pet sitting. She was so responsive and took excellent care of our pup. She sent pictures and made sure to give us a daily update. I highly recommend Lisa and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Lauren and Doug were wonderful to our girl. It seemed like she had just as fun of a vacation as we did. They took such great care of her and communicated with us thoroughly. We got numerous pictures and videos daily. We will use them again when we need a sitter for our girl.”

“Randi sent lots of PICTs and kept my up to date. Great fenced in back yard and a doggy door. I would highly recommend Randi and her family and will continue to use her. My dog was so happy and tired from playing when I picked him up. Great all around experience.”

About: I have years of experience caring for and boarding friends’ and family members’ dogs, and I genuinely enjoy making dogs feel comfortable and at home while their owners are away. I work from home, which means I’m able to provide plenty of attention throughout the day and accommodate your dog’s individual needs and routine. With a fully fenced-in yard and frequent walks, your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and relaxation. I also have experience caring for a dog with medical needs, including administering oral medications and managing a prescription diet. I understand how important it is to follow feeding instructions, give medications on schedule, and make sure only approved foods and treats are given. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, just like one of my own! I work from home full time and maintain a consistent daily routine with my own dog, so pet care is already a natural part of my day. This includes daily walks, outdoor playtime, and regular feeding schedules. Having a flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to easily accommodate your dog’s routine and individual needs without disrupting their day. Whether they need extra walks, playtime, attention, or a little extra care, I’ll be happy to make them feel right at home! My home is very dog-friendly and set up to make visiting dogs feel right at home! I have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of space for running around, playing, and getting some fresh air. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and can make themselves comfortable throughout the house. I also have an Australian Shepherd who loves meeting and playing with other dogs and people. He’s crate-trained and has grown up with other dogs being a regular part of his environment, so having a furry visitor around is nothing new to him. I also understand that every dog has different personalities and comfort levels. I’m happy to provide separate spaces, breaks from playtime, and individual attention whenever needed. Whether your dog wants a playmate or prefers some quiet time to themselves, I’ll make sure they have a safe and comfortable environment. My goal is to make every dog feel welcome, relaxed, and part of the family!

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Lucky can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lucky.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
