About: I have been in the pet industry for 15+ years including veterinary, retail and boarding. I also did house and pet sitting for a good friend of mine many times. I have worked in the petcare industry for more that 15 years. Most of it as a retail manager. I've done veterinary and boarding jobs also. I'm ready to basically become my own boss and do what I really love. I am still a part-time retail worker and full-time homemaker but would love to include your pets in my everyday activities! I have fur babies and scale babies of my own. This includes 1 dog, 3 cats, 2 tree frogs, 2 leopard geckos, 1 hamster and multiple fish. They are not only my hobby but part of my family. My dog and cats are allowed on furniture so they can cuddle with us.

About: My love for animals all started when I was eight and took care of a family friend's cats. Since then, I have gained experience with animals of all types and sizes. In addition to our family dog, I adopted a rabbit of my own who was my pride and joy for six years before succumbing to a hereditary health issue. I also have taken horse lessons, and I currently volunteer with a nearby animal shelter as a dog walker and socializer. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and breeds, and I look forward to offering your pet the best care it can get. I am currently working remotely, so pet care will be sprinkled throughout my daily routine. Because my schedule is spaced out and very flexible, I will be able to visit your pet as many times as needed throughout the day (or even stay at the house while working if asked) to ensure that they are getting the quality care and attention they need. I work with my clients to give both them and their pets the best possible experience. Prior to hire, I am happy (and in fact, prefer) to have a free 15-30 minute consultation to familiarize myself to the pet and discuss any care specifics that the client may have. Because my care is individualized and will conform to the owner's wishes, I love to send pictures and videos throughout the day of the pet's activities and any extra-cute moments. I make it a habit to send short write-ups of the day and the pet's activities that day so that my clients feel as connected as possible to their pets.

About: I've had dogs all my life and have taken care of them for as long as I have been able to, I have taken care of other people's dogs and I am proud to have served them and my dogs for the past 10 years I'm currently part time and not being worked so I have all the time to spend with your pets and to make sure they are happy and walked I have two large yards one fenced, with my two dogs, my house has four cats but still has plenty of room for an extra friend! Rest assured that your pet will be happily taken care of and loved, whether at my house or at yours!

About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. Presently, I have four rescue cats, two classroom guinea pigs, and four dogs, one of which is a rescue. I volunteer with my country's animal shelter, and I have fostered and saved many animals. My love for critters is endless. I am a teacher, so teachers do not work in the summer. However, I do work teaching summer school and a camp in June. I can work evenings and remain overnight. I have the entire month of July off. My children are grown, so my schedule is flexible. I can provide references. I live in a secluded area, so when I am home, they have free range. My dogs are leash trained. During the day when I am home, they remain in a crate. I live six minutes from work, so they arent in their crates all day. My oldest daughter lives with me, so when I am away, they are taken care of.

About: My love of pet care began at age 14 when I got my 1st job working with a vet. I bicycled each morning at 6 am before school to clean cages. My love and determination has not waned over the years and I have continued, off and on, to work with vets and offer in home pet care to a diverse group of clients from birds to wolfhounds for the last 30+ years.. I have found most pets prefer to be in their own homes and around familiar sights and sounds to ease their transition from their primary caregiver to me. About: Hi there! My name’s Nikki. I’m 28 years old. I’ve had dogs my whole life, cats too! I’m a full time nurse with two fur babies of my own at home (Ozzie; my 3 year old super fluffy husky and Goose; my 1 year old all white shepherd). I understand what it’s like to need someone to watch over your babies who you can rely on and trust that they’re in good hands. I spent summers as a little girl with my dad helping train dogs/puppies. I have experience giving medications, shots, drops, and caring for animals on special diets. I’ve always loved animals of all shapes and sizes (dogs, cats, horses, chickens, you name it)! We love play time, going for walks, and/or snuggles on the couch while we watch a good movie. I can assure you your babies will be in the best of hands under my car and will most DEFINITELY be spoiled rotten! I typically work overnight shifts 1-3 times a week and any other time I work is usually 4-6 hours at a time during the afternoon/evening. Most weekends are free. If I’m not around for 6+ hours, my partner helps me out with my fur babies and will gladly help out with yours as well. I have a few acres I live on, no fence yet but we love walking around the land and exploring (leashed of course). I have plenty of room for crates if need be. I have two very friendly pups who are eager to keep your babies company!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, mostly small animals. I love them all and currently own pets now and especially love adopting them. I can provide consistent care for your pet. I’m a stay at home mom and my kids are in school so I have a lot of time on my hands during the day but I wouldn’t object to some evenings if needed. I will feed, water, and walk your dog and clean up after them. If they need any special care I can accommodate them as needed.

About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for about 5 years. I currently have a 4 year old Aussie border collie mix who has reactivity issues and is very timid so i have taken training classes on how to work with a dog in situations like that. i also grew up in a house with multiple different sizes and breeds of dogs. I work part time at a restaurant in town and have a dog of my own but i do understand what it’s like to need some time away and make sure your pup is in trusted hands. I live on alittle over an acre with a cattle dog who is very high energy. we go on 3 4 mile walks a week and he is able to come and go from the house whenever he pleases. He is crate trained and he is on a strict feeding schedule. I get him groomed once a month and regular vet visits for up to date shots.

About: I’ve had many pets of my own so I know how it is trying to find someone to trust to look after them. I’ve also taken care of many of my family members pets. I have the most experience with cats and small animals since I’ve had my fair share of those types of pets. I’m currently going to school to become a veterinarian. I love working with animals and it is my dream to one day work full time with them. I’m currently working part-time so I’m available weekdays after 2pm and occasionally on weekends. I’m very flexible with my schedule so I can be available anytime you need! I have a walking trail right by my house that I love to run on. I would love to take a dog for a run with me. I also have a front yard where they can potty and I have a screened-in back porch to just enjoy the breeze. I do have caged animals, but that shouldn’t be an issue because they will be in separate rooms.

About: I’ve been dog sitting on and off for about 4 years. It brings me joy to playing with them and seeing their tags wag with excitement! I am currently working full time at a walgreens in my town as while taking online classes to get my certification in vet assistant. I plan on working part time instead to do more of what i love which is taking care of animals. I would ask my client if there is a routine or any special accommodations that I need to go by or do for their fur baby.

About: In addition to caring for my own dogs, I work as a Dog Daycare Attendant and have been offering Rover services for three years. I have also worked as a Kennel Tech and Adoption Counselor in Animal Welfare. I am able to read dog and cat body language and assess your pet’s behaviors and personalities to care for them as well as possible. I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I also have experience working with “difficult” dogs and special needs pets. I do accept unspayed/unneutered pets as well. I love spending my days with animals and would love the opportunity to meet yours! I’m a student at VCU and I work as a Dog Daycare Attendant. The addition of caring for pets on Rover is very rewarding! I have weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. I make sure every need is met and follow pet owner’s instructions. About: Hello! I have been taking care of pets, my own, for 17 years. I grew up with cats that were my responsibility, and am now a dog owner. I have fostered puppies and currently care for a (near) senior dog. I am pretty flexible with my schedule, and with advanced notice, I can usually meet most requests made. I do take time to travel with my dog on weekends, so I may not be available for weekend boarding. I have a room dedicated as a dog space in my home, and I have the ability to crate dogs as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a tie out cord and leash for dogs that need more attention outdoors.

About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. Currently I have a pug, Pixie. I have had guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, turtles and cats before. Currently I work part time and have lots of extra time for walks. I am very flexible with changes if you need to add more visitis. I offer visits to your home, 30 minute and 60 minute walks, and transportation services.
