I love having the opportunity through Rover to love on other pets. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! My 13 year old son also helps me out on occasion because he wanted a way to earn some extra money 😊 I have a very flexible job so I am able to spend as much time with your pet as you'd like me to. I am also able to visit several times throughout the day if the need is there. My job allows me to work from anywhere so if a longer visit for companionship is needed I am happy to do that. I am happy to take your pet for a walk if that's what they are used to or spend some time with them letting them run around your yard. If they just need some company and some love for a bit then I am happy to just sit with them for a while and remind them that they are loved.

About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. I would love to extend my love for pets to you and your fur family by caring for them as I would my own. Caring for pets is my full time job! I am highly flexible and usually able to accommodate whatever you and your furbabies need. When house sitting, I will need to leave at least once a day to check in at my house, but otherwise your pets have my full attention. I want your pets to be safe and happy. I am willing to take on whatever routine you have established to make your time away as easy on your pets as possible. Safety and fun are my top priorities!

About: My love for animals all started when I was eight and took care of a family friend's cats. Since then, I have gained experience with animals of all types and sizes. In addition to our family dog, I adopted a rabbit of my own who was my pride and joy for six years before succumbing to a hereditary health issue. I also have taken horse lessons, and I currently volunteer with a nearby animal shelter as a dog walker and socializer. I am comfortable with pets of all sizes and breeds, and I look forward to offering your pet the best care it can get. I am currently working remotely, so pet care will be sprinkled throughout my daily routine. Because my schedule is spaced out and very flexible, I will be able to visit your pet as many times as needed throughout the day (or even stay at the house while working if asked) to ensure that they are getting the quality care and attention they need. I work with my clients to give both them and their pets the best possible experience. Prior to hire, I am happy (and in fact, prefer) to have a free 15-30 minute consultation to familiarize myself to the pet and discuss any care specifics that the client may have. Because my care is individualized and will conform to the owner's wishes, I love to send pictures and videos throughout the day of the pet's activities and any extra-cute moments. I make it a habit to send short write-ups of the day and the pet's activities that day so that my clients feel as connected as possible to their pets.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, I have a cat currently and family members have always had dogs and cats. I volunteered at the Humane Society throughout high school and have lots of experience pet sitting! 😻 I also used to foster kittens which I loved doing. I love being around animals and caring for them. I am a student working part time, so that gives me plenty of free time to check in on your furry friends throughout the day, take them on walks, and spend the night with them! About: I have 3 dogs a miniature dachshund, hound mix from the humane society as well as a German Shepard retriever mix from the shelter! I love animals and I will take great care of yours like they are my own and give them so much love! I stay at home with my 3 dogs as I am transitioning between jobs so just looking for some money to make and some friends for my doggies to play with! I have 3 dogs that can keep yours company, I have 3 crates as well as a large yard with a lead that my dogs roam on. I can watch in your home or mine but would be easier in mine with my pups!

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for nine years. I’ve also walked dogs at the Lynchburg Humane Society for years, and petsitted for and walked many others over the years. I’m available all summer thru mid August for pet walking/sitting. I’m very flexible due to my part-time work and am always open to last-minute requests! About: I don’t just care for your pets, I strive to make them see me as part of the family! Also love to clean, so you know you will return to your house with it being just as clean as you left it. Ample training with young pups as well as caring for older animals. I work a job where I make my own hours, so I can fit whatever requirements into my schedule. No need to worry about long stretches without your loved one being checked on! Multiple walks are given each day (depending on their needs), with the option to run with them if they are high-energy dogs. All for the cuddles and playing inside for those that need either or both instead!

About: I’ve had dogs most of my adult life and they are my children. Your fur baby will live like a king/queen during their time with me. I will have play time, snuggles, and walks. I work from home so it’s easy to take care of your fur baby. They will have most of my attention and I walk five times I live in a great neighborhood and everyone is out walking. If your animal sleeps with you, then they will sleep with me. Anything I can do so your furry friend feels at home.

About: I began pet sitting as a teen and have been in and out of the pet service industries for over 10 years. I can do training, basic grooming maintenance, walks, play and cuddle time, learning new tricks. Totally specific to your wishes and your pet’s needs! I have experience with boarding being a boarding trainer for the last 3 years with dogs ages 12weeks and potty training to senior care management - from Yorkies to Cane Corsos! I specialize in working with reactive dogs or dogs who need an experienced sitter. I am familiar and professionally trained in the use of tools (ecollars, muzzles, slip-leads, etc.) if that is something your dog requires. I have some experience as a former vet assistant so keeping your babies safe is a top priority and know how to administer dog first aide until the pet can be seen by a vet if any unforeseen circumstances arise. I am familiar with allergies, sensitivities, nutrition and medication management. I have a pretty flexible schedule so please reach out to me with your dates as soon as possible and I can get you on the books. Scheduling is based on a first come first serve basis. I am happy to come to your home so your babies are as comfortable as possible in their own environment while you are away! I would love to take your dogs on adventures and outings upon request at an additional fee depending on the type of outing. Taking them out to parks or on hikes, store visits or swimming if that’s something they enjoy (dogs must have a up-to-date Lepto vaccine for swims) or just out for some playtime in the yard. I am able to crate rest your dog if you so desire and do walks in the neighborhood. I have all my own equipment for long-line enrichment sniff walks. I have professional experience reading dog body language and behavior and will never make them interact with other dogs if they are not comfortable with it, I’m happy to advocate for their personal space. Due to liability concerns unknowing the temperament of strange dogs, I will not take your dogs to “dog parks.”

About: I grew up in a home that had many different kinds of pets- from pups to kitties, to rabbits & guineas! I love being able to give them the love that I would give my own. I have a golden girl of my own now that is my best friend, and I hope to share that love to your fur babies. I am currently working part-time only, so I have the ability to care for your babies around that schedule and what works best for you! My golden girl can be kept in her own space at home, so that I am able to provide a safe space for yours, if needed. She is free to roam when I am home, and is also very comfortable around other animals.
