About: Hi, I’ve worked in the pet industry for about 20yrs. I am very knowledgeable about dogs, cat, birds, reptiles and fish. I can take very good care of your pets. I can also administer medications for those whom need meds daily. I am also a pet groomer if they need any grooming done while you are gone and have all my own equipment for that service. I am available everyday for any service. I do work part time. My husband is home with the pets all day every day. . He lets them out for potty breaks and spends time with them when I’m not home. I work 3 days a week. I will take time off to petsit for you so your pet will have all my attention during their stay. I will take dogs on potty breaks every 2-4 hours as needed. For dogs that don’t stay with me at my house. I can come by about every 2-4 hours to check on them and take them potty, feed, give meds ect. We can also go to the dog park if you like. I am willing to drive to Lovington, Eunic and Monument to petsit for you. I have a fenced yard and 5 acres out of city limits.we have a big fenced front yard. Staying at our house is like going to the dog park everyday. we have 6 friendly dogs of our own who are all rescues or fosters. We also have cats and parrots. For which all get along for the most part. We live near by the Del Norte dog park. So taking your dog or dogs to the park is not a problem. Your pet will love it here. Pets are aloud to set or sleep on furniture and on my bed. I also provide pet grooming. I can give your pet a hair cut and bath befor going home or before you get home.
About: We’ve had dogs my whole life, I’ve always kind of preferred them over people..to be honest. Lol They’re so loving without fault, endearing. I’ve always bathed ours, and of course the dreaded drying, I trained them and of course just loved them!! I recently was given the opportunity to work for a kennel. There, I was able to give medications and learn a little about weight to ml dosaging, and of I got to take care of the beautiful huge creatures we know as Cane Corsos, that was a truly humbling experience!! So many people are terrified of them thinking they are vicious…but they are actually just gentle giants! Animals are definitely my passion!! As well I have 2 small dogs and gigantic baby of my own...I wouldn’t trade them for anything in this world!! Currently I am not working a regularly set job so I am available anytime I am needed. I wake up to our overgrown baby Jasper, whining around 6:30 most mornings, so we play in the living room till Momma Dee wakes up and let’s out the little ones, Gizmo and Bella. I feed them all around 9a.m. It’s usually a mad house, but a lot of fun. All three of them are crate trained so when we both need to leave the house they all know what “let’s go to bed” means. We have some of the happiest, healthiest dogs around…and they are very deeply loved!! I was hoping to maybe make a long-term regular somewhat set schedule with Rover and the dog loving community that uses it’s services. I hope to see ya soon!! When I get to a point where I will be able to bring babies home with me, we do have a large metal and sinder block fence that goes all the way around the yard, But currently I am trying to work on my partners fear of, well…any dog that’s not her own!! So currently I cannot do boarding, I can do pet sitting, it will just have to be at the clients house, which will be more comfortable for the baby anyway! But there is a dog park nearby and we could go out and chase balls or play with toys to our little hearts content. Any baby under my care will not lack for love, exercise or affection at all!! I can’t wait!!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
