About: Experienced in 25 years with all domesticated animals from bottle feeding to senior care. I have raised and rehabilitated lots of animals. I have a lot of experience at rehabilitating wildlife as well. I stay in contact with local shelters, vets, and sanctuaries. I currently work from home and I make my own schedule so that allows me to know in advance what days I can book your furry (or non furry) pal! Being home also allows me to spend much needed time with your pet, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will take multiple pets from the same owner. I want your pal(s) to have the best experience at our home. I stay at home the majority of the time. One of my three dogs are crate trained. I have experience with crate training if your dog is used to a crate upon leaving or at night. I have a separate 3rd bathroom that I have always used for my own dogs in case they need to be put up a while upon leaving briefly. If your little guy or gal is shy, no worries I have all the patience needed for that. If he/she wants to stay away from the others, I have a separate large room (with TV for noise) and extra bathroom. My dogs love watching dog TV, and maybe yours will too. If your pal follows a strict schedule, it would not be a problem to accommodate!

About: Hi, I'm Kayla! I've been caring for animals for over 15 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have experience with puppies and kittens (also bottle babies), senior pets, administering oral medications, and providing plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection! Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, drop-in care, medication, or just some extra love while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable! I currently have times everyday that I can do dog walks/check ins! Luckily my schedule is usually a quite flexible one, so just let me know what you need and I know I can fit you in! I can do whatever needed! From potty breaks, walks, feeding, even just some attention so your fur babies don't get lonely:) Puzzle treats and lick mats are a great way to decompress after play and walks, so I do enjoy implementing those into the schedule!

About: I’ve always had/been around dogs. With that comes responsibility and loving care. I have experience with all sizes and willing to accommodate any special needs. I’m currently a college student at Murray State, almost all my classes are online besides on Tuesday. My schedule is flexible, we can work out a time/date together. I do go to church on Sunday, so I would need that morning/afternoon off. I am a big cuddle bug. I pay attention to the small details. I enforce rules while trying to add some tricks. I keep the environment light and I try to accommodate in anyway for my clients and their babies(dogs).

Oscar had a great time. She was right on time for the pick up. She took great care of him. I picked up my puppy, he was tired and happy. They are real animal lovers, and you can feel comfortable with her as a dog sitter. Definitely recommend her

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lovelaceville. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
