“Christie was great! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone and it went really well. We got updates and photos at least once a day and felt real comfortable with everything. She took our dog out for a walk everyday and he was very comfortable hanging out with her. We will definitely be asking Christie to sit our dog again the future.”

“Tamara was fabulous with my senior dachshund, Dexter, in our home. She arrived a few minutes early and was kind enough to stay longer when I let her know I was going to be later coming home. It was really nice to get a photo of him eating his food after one of the walks they did together. Dexter is happy and it seems like he is tired, which means he had some good walks. Thank you, Tamara!”

“Crystal was amazing! My dogs took to her right away. She kept to their schedules and sent me pictures to show me how they were doing. I felt safe and confident leaving my doggies with her :)”

“This is the third time Caitlin has stayed with us, would be the fourth but the last minute thing that she was able to help us out with we didn’t end up needing. Everyone loves her! Caitlin is our go to always.”

About: For future reference; will not be accepting non neutered or spayed cats/dogs unless accompanied by a crate, especially if their not trained please. I do have one myself, so not that you need to have one per se but allow use if necessary! This is partially for Henrys experience too, so please keep that in mind when reading this; its not to be snarky. I have trained two dogs growing up who have above average listening and response times. Positive reinforcement was key to my success, psychology paid off. One was a rescue dog; she was such a sweet heart but it took some time getting her to open up based off her traumatic experiences prior to entering the adoption location she luckily found her way too. Henry on the other hand, was purchased from a breeder, so fortunately for him less baggage, and unfortunately for her given the circumstances. I've done dog sitting/pet care for family dogs when family members would go on vacation for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Medication administration is a non issue, as well as grooming is another area I take great pride in doing myself, as it's a good trait to have being a pet owner. Have cared for puppies, adult or senior dogs; we were a dog first family growing up so I've grown to love them more than you can realize just through descriptions; with my active daily lifestyle it allows for the animals to gain as much out of exercise as I do and working from home helps as well. I treat animals as if their my family or children, so they'd receive the same treatment one would expect from a friend baby sitting their children. Seamlessly; he wakes up when I do and is let out accordingly at 4 AM we go for multiple walks a day most notably 430 AM and 530 PM. I work from home so it makes it very manageable to get him outside for bathroom breaks within 2-2.5 hour interval periods. I'd like to think we both operate at a high level through one another. We feed off one another, so when he's upbeat I am too, but when I'm down he has his tricks that ensure a great therapeutic touch. I treat them as if their my children; I speak to them in a way they understand with words or phrases we've practiced or has practiced to ensure optimal success in regards to understanding one another. Henry and I like to play often with his toys or just horsing around with Belly rubs and chasing him around the house. He sleeps with me too, so no furniture is off limits as I usually have blankets or other covers in place to manage hair loss.

“This is my second time booking Kayla and I'm just as pleased with her service as the last time! She went above and beyond for Caesar, and he seems to absolutely love her. She's always very communicative and left my home even cleaner than when I left. I'm very grateful for all her help!”

“Abigail came to our house to dog sit Luna for several days. We were very happy with how she took care of her, followed instructions and left our house clean. She also sent pictures everyday. We would highly recommend her!”

“We were so lucky to find Amanda - it was a very last minute thing! She agreed to babysit with only a 40 hour heads up, and even came for a meet and greet first. Amanda shows up on time, is very pleasant, kind, and polite, and very sweet! My German Shepherd, in particular, showed great enthusiasm towards her (my other dog is shy and nervous). I could see right away that Amanda feels very at ease with dogs, and I could also see that she loved large dogs, as she played with, and patted, my Shep with an obviously experienced attitude! She's great. I will definitely rebook! :)”

“I cannot recommend Bethany highly enough! She recently stayed at my home to care for my senior small dog, and she was absolutely amazing. From the start, Bethany was warm, professional, and incredibly caring. She took the time to understand my dog’s needs and routines, and it showed in how comfortable and happy she was in her care. Throughout her stay, Bethany kept in touch just as I had requested—sending thoughtful updates and sweet pictures that truly put my mind at ease. It was clear from every message that she treated my pup with so much love and attention. It’s such a relief to have found someone so reliable and compassionate. I’ll definitely be contacting Bethany again for future dates. Thank you, Bethany, for your caring personality and for taking such wonderful care of little dog!”

About: I love dogs! I have experience taking care of big and small, well and not so well behaved dogs : ). I have a private property for ball throwing and running around. I work at home so I have the time to care for your dog. My main reason to do this is because I love pets but I am not ready for my own again just yet. I work from home full time! I would be able to give your dog walks before work, lunch, and after work. I’m open to special needs. I have 10 acres. It’s not fenced but has a treed border. I would have your pet at my home. I don’t have any other pets or children in the home.

“Kayla took such great care of our three pups over a long weekend away! She updated us all the time and was so patient with our crazy crew. I had such comfort knowing she was there and that means everything while we’re away. Thank you Kayla!”

“Dekoda was very kind and pleasant to work with. She went above and beyond spending time with our animals. Our vacation was much more enjoyable knowing they were well taken care of. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I am a super active person! I love to go to the near by park but will do anything to accommodate your dogs’ needs. I have had my own dogs my whole life, including rescues that had a lot of behavioural issues. I know how to deal with a dog of any type no matter how easy or difficult they may be in the most loving manner. I work shift work that consists of 4 days working in a row and then 4 days off in a row. I have two cats at home that I love so much. They typically mind their own business when dogs are around! I am very much for open communication between us on anything and am looking to develop awesome relationships with you and your fur babies! I work full time, 4 days in a row and then have 4 days off in a row! I like to spend my spare time with my own pets, taking care of others’, being active, playing sports etc! My place is clean, tidy, and safe for all pets! I am very attentive to their needs and behaviours. | | | | | |

Jason H.Star Sitter
“I was excited to hear that Jason signed on to work with Rover. I have known him in a professional capacity for several years now and have come to appreciate the wonderful relationship he has with his canine companion Henry. Jason loves his dog and strives to give Henry a balance of consistent exercise, training, affection, play and rest resulting in a healthy, happy, engaging pet. I have no doubt that he will do the same with your animal! I know Jason to pay attention to details and he works hard to do well in whatever he decides to do. Tell him what your pet needs, what your expectations are and leave Jason and Henry to do the rest!”

“Serena was sweet and did a great job pet sitting for our short trip. When we left, our large senior dog was getting along great with her, and when we returned the house was clean and tidy, pets were fed, and waters were filled. I would have liked more updates/photos while we were gone, but I did not talk about it with Serena before our trip, and was busy during the trip. I now know to set that expectation before.”
