About: I have grown up with dogs and cats and have developed the deep love and understanding of pet care. I have learned how to recognize the subtle signs of an animals needs, which help me provide the best care possible. I understand how important it is for pet owners to know that their pets are in safe hands, which is why I always communicate regularly and provide updates. You can always count on me to show up and provide a nurturing environment. I am excited to extend care and attention to other furry friends! I am currently a student at the University of The Incarnate Word. I am typically available from 12 to 6 pm however, could also do very early in the morning. When I am caring for pets in a client’s home my priority is to create a safe, comfortable and trusting environment. I follow any specific instructions from the pet owner regarding food, exercise, and behavior, maintaining consistency to reduce any anxiety. I will always make sure that the pet has access to freshwater and plenty of affection. I focus on maintaining a calm and protective environment so both the pet and owner feel at ease knowing they are in trustworthy hands.

Shayla did such an awesome job taking care of Cooper. She sent lots of pictures, videos, and kept me updated on how he was doing. I would trust her to stay again in our home anytime. She was sweet and respectful and I can tell she really loved on our boy. She took him on walks, played with him, and followed all the instructions. She took care of our house and took out/brought in the trash and recycle bins for us. We are so glad we found her and will definitely be using her again in the future.
Christine responded quickly to my request, and met up with me and my dogs to better acquaint herself with them. Christine was caring and professional while caring for my dogs, and maintained communication with me. She has a sunny disposition, and my dogs felt comfortable and reassured by her presence. I can’t recommend Allison enough! She took care of my dog Beowulf for a full week, and from start to finish, she was everything you’d want in a sitter: caring, reliable, and clearly passionate about animals. Beowulf isn’t just a pet, he’s family, and Allison treated him that way. She made sure he was well-fed, played with, and given plenty of attention and affection. I could tell from the updates and photos she shared that he was relaxed, happy, and truly enjoying himself. Because of Allison, I was able to actually relax during my time away, no stress, no worry, just total peace of mind knowing he was in the best hands possible. "Never judge a book by its cover" has never been more true than with Jared. Let your pets be the judges! Jared is the sweetest, most loving person with my cats and I can only surmise that he is that way with all pets he cares for. I have come to know Jared over time; he helped me rescue a cat, went with me to the vet, and later, when I was away working out of town, he took the cat to the vet again for an appointment to get "fixed", picked him up afterwards, and cared for him while I got home the next day. Who else does that???
