About: I have raised small dogs from puppies to adults. I have also rescued two huskies, one that was a senior with special needs and one that was a puppy mill rescue with severe emotional needs. I also had indoor cats for two years. I have helped a friend who fosters animals with her senior dog and many kittens. I recently moved to Maui and miss my furbabies who now live with my adult children. I'd love to love on yours for you! I work remotely so I have a very flexible schedule. I'm centrally located in Wailuku so I can provide pet care in multiple areas of the island. I am very diligent about following your safety and care protocols in your own home. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide care in my home due to roommate restrictions.

About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I work full time on Sunday-Tuesday. So I cannot work those days. The other days I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. I live right next to a park and the beach so it’s very easy to take dogs for a walk. If I am staying at a clients place I have a truck to take the dog to a dog park if there isn't one nearby.

About: I have always had pets, but I like to travel! Which means it’s best that at this stage in life I don’t have pets of my own. But I have a lot of love to give! Therefore I fulfill that void by providing care to everyone else lovely fur babies! I have experience in care from rodents to senior dogs. I also have experience working at a dog day where I worked with and provided exercise dogs of all sizes. This taught me the skills to safely handle and stimulate dogs on a daily basis. Your fur babies needs are of the utmost importance. I believe in an open channel of communication. Whatever the needs are I can fulfil.I can provide picture updates and check-ins of your pup. Whatever you need! I work a 5 day work week, however my schedule is very flexible. In addition, I work short restaurant evening shifts ~3x a week. However, all these locations are close by eachother and I like to be up for a while before work leaving plenty of time for walks and play before, between, and after my shifts. I do not have my own pets, so no concerns for any add ons! In your home I will adhere to your pets typical schedule and ask for permission before any little adventures (I.e., car rides, dog beaches, hikes). I want your little one to feel comfortable and you to feel confident that they are in good hands.

About: I grew up having 4 dogs as a child and couple more fur babies as an adult. Brindle is in doggie heaven but taught me the most about being a pet parent. He was a rescue dog who really rescued me. He taught me schedule in a dog's life is key to their happiness... along with treats, walks, and dog parks. I currently work full time so I am only available Saturdays and Sundays for boarding and some holidays. I am somewhat flexible with drops offs so please ask away. I have a large yard but it is not fenced so any playtime is fully supervised and dogs are not allowed off leash. I have a large crate that can also be used if your dog is kennel trained.

About: I am very active and love to bring a fur baby along if they like to adventure! On the other hand I also like to be a homebody and lounge or garden. I get up early to have coffee and feed and pet the kitties and birds! Taking the dogs for a run on the beach is so fun! I have a fenced in yard as my dachshund was a wonderful escape artist! He has calmed down a bit with age and follows me around the house and garden.

About: Rules & Snuggles: We like rules at this hale. We are consistent with the utilization of [gentle] nonverbal commands, and are also consistent with the [consistent] distribution of positive reinforcement/high reward treats (primarily in the form of snuggles). We will put forth our best effort to treat your pup like they are a part of our family. Have peace of mind knowing that your pup is being cared for with competence, love, and patience. Some tidbits: * Pup must already be socialized! We have 2 dogs on premise. * Mostly available throughout the work week, but am open to being flexible. Please inquire. * Enclosed yard (mostly concrete). * Indoor option with Air-Conditioning if pup is already indoor-trained. * Please provide your pup’s food and apprise us of their dietary routine/restrictions. * Feel free to bring your pup's favorite comfort item (i.e. blanket, toy, etc.) * Miss your pup? I will send you pictures of them while you are away. Relatively available Monday-Friday from 8am-8pm; increments of 2hrs+; scheduling can be flexible, but please inquire reasonably in advance. Able to physically check on pup minimum of 2hrs up to 4hrs; ability to monitor via camera.
