“Joe is our favorite dog sitter! He is really easy to communicate with and keeps us updated on our pup while we’re away. He takes our dog to the dog park to get exercise and socialize and his own dog is sweet as can be. 10/10 recommend!”

“Because our dog, Hank, has mobility issues, I was worried about leaving him and traveling abroad for our holiday vacation. Deb was an absolute gem. She and her husband took such good care of Hank, using a sling for his potty breaks and giving him his medicine. She sent photos and updates regularly. I'm eternally grateful. I'll bet Hank is already looking forward to another stay with Deb.”

“Hannah did an absolute stellar job. Of course she is almost overly qualified, and I had no reservations of leaving my cat in her care. She was very responsive and flexible, which made it so much easier! Can’t recommend enough.”

“Hillary provided updates including photos and videos of my pup Daisy at a cadence that kept me worry free but was not excessive. Daisy came home happy and looked well cared for. Will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Nicole did a great job with Ruby. She was attentive to Rubys needs, gave timely updates and was open to me bringing Ruby's baby pool. Nicole was very professional and I highly recommend her to others.”

“Our dog had a great time with Stacey and family. She had a wonderful yard that gave our high-energy pup lots of room. Stacey’s confidence with dogs made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Stacey sent pictures and communicated with us as needed.”

About: Ive grown up with animals and took an interest in training and sitting when I was around 10 years old. I have experience training and watching family dogs, reactive dogs, service dogs and puppies! I also have multiple animals of my own and am well versed in the different care that different species may need. When I am home, my attention is 100% on my animals. I do have a full time job in a neighboring city and am gone for normal work hours, but devote time and attention when I am home. In my own home, everybody has their own space. With dogs, cats and bunnies, each animal has the ability to socialize or spend time on their own in their space. Each animal has been trained to appropriately interact with each other.

About: I bring a calm, reliable presence and a deep understanding of animal behavior across all ages and species. With hands-on experience caring for everything from playful puppies to gentle senior pets — as well as exotic companions like parrots — I adapt my care to each animal’s unique needs. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to keep pets on their regular routine and give them consistent attention. I’m comfortable with crate training, potty training, administering medication, and supporting senior dogs or animals with special needs. Every pet in my care is treated like family — safe, understood, and genuinely loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. Since I work from home, I’m able to build my schedule around the pets in my care — whether that means regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, or quiet companionship. My own pets have taught me the importance of consistency and attention, so I’m always mindful of keeping each pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. Caring for animals isn’t something I fit in — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and right at home here. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have an underground fence system with extra collars for dogs who are trained to use it. Otherwise, all outside time is fully supervised, whether on a leash or in the yard. Inside, my home is pet-friendly, calm, and set up to give animals their own space if they need it. I keep things clean, low-stress, and consistent with whatever routine they’re used to. I’m always nearby since I work from home, so your pet gets lots of attention and care throughout the day.

“Mairany was a perfect cat sitter!! She took really good care of Nala. She definitely went above and beyond with all the pictures and text she sent. I would highly recommend Mairany as a pet sitter and will definitely be rebooking Nala with her!!”

“Beth took care of Griffin while we were out of the country and I could not have asked for better care! Griff is a picky eater, especially when we aren’t around. She cooked special food for him just to encourage him to eat and also was so nice and kind to him when there was a thunderstorm, which he is terrified of. Highly recommend Beth!”

“Jackie was amazing when watching our dog for 2.5 weeks while we were out of the country. She had great communication and sent us pics throughout the time. Great location as well for dogs to stay! Our dog has 3 legs and Jackie had no issues watching our dog and was very accommodating with any special needs. Highly recommend Jackie!”

“Benson has stayed with Cory many times and it’s always been a great experience. He’s very flexible (we had to switch days last minute this time), responds quickly, sends photos and Benson is always happy & tired when we return.”

“Everything went super smoothly. I had a couple of schedule changes, and Brandy was SUPER flexible and understanding about the changes. I got updates and some beautiful pictures as well. Would definitely recommend.”

“Sierra's home was an absolute perfect fit for my dog. It was so nice to know that someone was taking care of her like I would and she adored the extra attention. I'd give 10 stars if I could!”

About: I've taken care of animals for most of my life. I've always had a dog since I was born and often take care of my friends' pets. I have the time and knowledge to love your baby like my own. I am a JMU professor who is on sabbatical until January. This means I am working from home and will have plenty of time for your pet's needs. I have a large yard with areas for dogs to play and run. I have a French Bulldog who loves other animals and is always looking for a playmate.
