About: We absolutely love animals, and want to share our home and fenced yard with your pooch. We understand what it’s like to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away; we will treat your dog like a member of our family. I (Diana) grew up on a farm with lots of different animals and dogs, and understand how each one has their own fantastic personality. Just let me know what they need, and I can do it. We’ve had puppies, older dogs, big dogs, small dogs, and everything in between! My tween/teen kids are kind and fun with animals, and will provide even more love and attention for your dog while they stay with us. Thank you for trusting us with your favorite furry buddy! We primarily work from home so we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. We have a Newfoundland-poodle mix of our own, so our daily routine is already focused on dog care (feeding, walking, letting outside, etc). Just let me know what your dog needs! We also have goats, chickens, outdoor cats, and a couple of feral peacocks that hang around the property. It’s a pet paradise. 😊 We have a large fenced yard and a big goofball named Hoagie to keep your doggy company. We will love and care for your dog as if he/she was our own, because that’s what we would expect for Hoagie while we’re away. We have extra pet beds, food and water dishes, etc. Our yard is perfect for a game of fetch, a sunbathing session, playtime with Hoagie, or just a great sniff. We’re happy to have your dog sleep in one of our bedrooms, take them for walks, and give them all the love.

This was my first time leaving Rocky due to a last minute family emergency and it was a great success :) we came by for a meet and greet prior to drop off and it felt great to be so confident Rocky would be in great hands. He had so much fun, lots of activities and play time. Tasha was communicative and sent lots of adorable pictures and videos. Rocky is not great with recall so Tasha’s husband made a zip line so Rocky could easily explore as much of their property as possible! They really went above and beyond in so many ways. Thank you so much will definitely reach out to Tasha again if Rocky needs a sitter in the area!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I run a 501(c)(3) dog rescue, regularly transport dogs, care for puppies, seniors, and special-needs dogs, administer medications, work on basic training, leash manners, and provide structured, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule because animals are already a central part of my daily life. I work from home and plan my days around feeding schedules, walks, medications, enrichment, and individualized care. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present for each pet. I have 2 600+ feet plus areas for dogs to run and play. We have a building for them to sleep cozy, clean and safe.

About: I have experience working at a doggy day-care. I was responsible for watching and entertaining up to 25 dogs at a time of all ages and sizes! I work 10 hour shifts 4 days a week Tues-Fri. I have a long weekend every week to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! I hope to find some canine friends to hike with me on the weekends. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

She asked a bunch of questions to make sure she knew how to best handle Taquito (on/off leash, if she liked the water, how to best feed, etc) and Taquito was immediately comfortable around her and her pup which is always a relief. She was communicative, sent us a bunch of pictures and flexible with scheduling pick up and drop off. Taquito had the best time and I highly recommend Nayla!”

About: Offering a safe home away from home, compassionate care, and peace of mind for pet owners is something that all pet sitters should be offering. I go far beyond this standard providing both care and training. Since I was a child, dogs and cats have gravitated toward me and I've always enjoyed their companionship; you can almost always find me with at least one dogs around. It's never been an unruly mass of teeth and paws though; I've always taken the time to teach my furry friends to walk on leash, to have immediate recall, to be polite in kitchen, and to use their voices kindly. I do the same with every animal that I am given care of, gently coaching them to be civil, furry companions while showering them with love. I am currently working from home and set my own schedule. I have a set daily morning and evening walk which your pup(s) will join. During the day, you pup(s) will have company of two dogs, three cats and plenty of pets from me. On weekends we go on adventure hikes. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company during the day. I have crates, leashes, grooming tools and home made dog beds for all pet care needs.
