About: We have shared our home with dogs for over 20 years: Labs, Siberian Huskies, Dachshunds, Great Danes, German Shepherds, and Australian Shepherds. (Yes, we own a very good vacuum.) Our current pack is two senior German Shepherd girls, Bella and Maggie. They're friendly, social, and always happy to meet a new friend. Among our friends and family, we've long been the go-to people for pet care, from a single overnight to stays of several weeks. Senior and special-needs dogs are our specialty. We've cared for dogs on medications, dogs who move a little slower, and even dogs in wheelchairs, so special routines don't faze us. We're both trained in CPR and First Aid, and Bryan is a licensed EMT. You could say I know how to stay calm and know what to do if something unexpected happens. What your dog gets with us: We work from home full-time. We'll always home with your dog. Dogs stay off the furniture and typically sleep in their own private kennel at night, so everyone rests well. We want your dog's stay to feel like a vacation, not just a place to wait for you. Bella and Maggie are already practicing their welcome. I work from home full-time, so pet care is built into our day, not squeezed around it. My mornings start with breakfast and a walk or yard time with Bella and Maggie, and any guest dogs join right in. During the day there's plenty of time for play, naps, and potty breaks in our nearly one-acre fenced grassy yard, plus outings to the park or nearby trails. Evenings bring another walk, dinner, and some downtime before guests settle into their private kennels for the night. We head into town a couple of times a week, but one of us is always home when we're caring for a dog. If your dog has a set schedule for meals, meds, or walks, we'll follow it. Your dog stays in a quiet, smoke-free, kid-free house with someone home at all times. My nearly one-acre grassy yard is fully fenced, and dogs are always supervised outdoors. My two senior German Shepherds, Bella and Maggie, are friendly and social, and I introduce new guests to them gradually so everyone stays comfortable. Dogs stay off the furniture and sleep in their own private kennel at night, which gives them a safe, consistent spot to rest. In your home (drop-in visits) & on walks I treat your home like my own. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, meds, and routines, lock up every time, and leave everything as we found it. On walks, dogs stay securely leashed, and I'll keep the pace and distance right for your dog's age and energy. Health & emergencies We're both trained in CPR and First Aid, and Bryan is a licensed EMT. We're comfortable giving medications and caring for senior and special-needs dogs. Before every stay, we confirm your vet's information and your emergency contacts so we can act quickly if something comes up. Staying in touch You'll get daily texts and photos, so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: Hi! My name is Hannah, and I’ve had dogs in my home for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them and later having several of my own has given me a lot of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life—from raising puppies to caring for senior companions. I’m comfortable with everyday care like giving oral medications, reinforcing basic manners, and making sure dogs get plenty of rest alongside their play. Whether a dog prefers a good game of fetch or curling up on the couch for naps and scritches, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. I work from home full time, which allows me to give visiting dogs consistent supervision and plenty of attention throughout the day. To make sure every dog receives the best care possible, I only accept bookings from one family at a time, so your dog won’t be staying alongside multiple unfamiliar dogs. In my home I have two dogs who will be present and interacting with visiting pups: Cain, my neutered male Border Collie, and Mabel, my intact female Labrador Retriever. Because of this, guest dogs must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. After an initial warm-up and introduction period, visiting dogs are welcome to relax in the full house and enjoy our securely fenced yard. For safety and comfort, all dogs are fed separately. I do my best to send photos and updates throughout each stay so you can see how your dog is doing. Clients are always welcome to reach out if they’d like an update as well—I’m happy to check in when I can. To help make sure every dog has a safe and comfortable stay, I do have a few basic requirements. Dogs should be friendly with other dogs and people, reasonably house trained, and comfortable resting in a crate as needed. They should also be up to date on flea prevention and generally healthy when they arrive. For safety, I’m not able to host dogs who are known escape artists, fence climbers, or dogs with severe separation anxiety that leads to destructive behavior. To help your dog settle in smoothly, please bring enough food for the duration of the stay, a crate for your dog, and written notes with feeding instructions, schedules, and emergency contact information. A meet-and-greet beforehand is always encouraged so we can make sure everyone—dogs and humans alike—feels comfortable before the stay begins. Caring for the pets in my home is the backbone of my routine. I plan my day around the needs of my pets and with the weather cooling off I make plans for what activities I can do that my dogs might enjoy. For services in your home - the more details the better! Tell me their routine, their favorite toy, what games they like to play, what trick or behavior you are working on and I will do everything I can to keep things running smoothly so your baby is as comfortable as can be. I am also more than happy to take care of any daily needs like plant care or taking out the trash cans upon request.
