“We were passing through town and needed daycare for our chihuahua. Shihong took Peanut on short notice, picked her up to take her on a walk around the block with his dog, Cotton, and reported back that things were going well! Peanut had a couple accidents in the house and he was unfazed. He was diligent about socializing her to his dog and by the end of the day they were snuggled in the crate together. Wish we could bring Peanut to Shihong every day! Highly recommend.”

About: I am a lifelong rescuer of dogs and cats...I have raised puppies, adopted senior dogs, and adopted six dogs from shelters in the last 25 years. Most of my dogs and I had basic training classes together. I love walking dogs, playing with them, and caring for them in general...and i am excellent at bathing and medicating pups of all ages....even the reluctant ones! I like to be outdoors, so I am happy to walk and play with the dogs in my care outside at least 3 times a day.. I work from home, so I am generally available, weekdays and weekends. I am flexible about scheduling, and I welcome long term stays. I am also happy to accept last minute requests. I own my home...I don't have a fenced yard, but will walk my dog guests frequently, as i do like to be outdoors...I enjoy having dogs in my home, and spending lots of time with them. They are welcome on the furniture and to sleep on the bed..

About: My first rescue was a mixed breed puppy for our family. She died after 17 years of filling our hearts with joy. My second rescue was also a mixed breed puppy. She is very affectionate and energetic. I have watched dogs for my family and neighbors on multiple occasions. I have a huge yard with a pond for running and swimming and there is always lots of snuggles and love inside. I work remotely 4 out of 5 weekdays. On the day I go into the office, my husband has the flexibility to stop in several times to walk the dog around the back yard and hand out treats. Safety is the number one concern and I would always have your dog leashed outside. Inside they would have plenty of space for play and rest .

“I don’t trust anyone else boarding my border collie while I’m away for work. She can be tricky because she’s really shy and anxious at first and then when she is comfortable she is as rambunctious and energetic as you would expect a 1 y/o BC puppy to be. I never have any doubts that these guys will give her the attention, training, care and love that she needs when I have to leave her.”

About: Having grow up on a farm surrounded by dogs, taking care of animals is something I’ve been doing for a very long time. I have a very broad exposure to different temperaments and age groups from puppies to 15 year olds! I’ve watched 8 pound dogs all the way up to 200lbs dogs, none of which I’ve ever had a problem with! I also have experience watching cats! I look forward to caring for your furry family member! Working online, I’m able to have a flexible schedule and provide consistent care throughout the day! I wake up early and go on walks, and I’m always around to make sure they have ample food and water as there needs dictate! I don’t live with any pets, and I have access to a private unfenced yard. I’m also a short distance from trails and fields that I regularly walk! I have lots of experience with drop in visits, as well as overnight stays. I used to host on Airbnb so I understand the value of leaving spaces better than I found them!

My schedule is flexible and I can work from home, which means I can dedicate quality time to walks, play, feeding, and companionship without rushing. Whether I'm welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a quiet apartment surrounded by forest and green space, with very little car traffic in the neighborhood, which is perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor sniff time. At my place, I maintain a clean and cozy space with plenty of room for your doggie or kitty to lounge, play, or nap. In your home, I'll respect the privacy and cleaness of your space. I will follow your care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication schedules and favorite toys, because I know how important familiarity and consistency is to their happiness.

About: I have taken care of and had pets ever since I was a child. I currently watch my sisters Labrador and my nieces puppy as needed. I have watched them over night or up to a week at a time. I am currently not working so I am available anytime I would be needed. I would look forward to caring for your pet as I would my own. I will care for your pet per your instructions. I have a nice sized backyard. I currently have no pet of my own. My backyard is not fenced so I will never let your dog outside unattended or unleashed. I live alone and I do not work. I can schedule my day around your pet. Your pet is my first priority when I am watching them. I do not have a fence but I have a large yard and an open field right behind that I can walk your dog. I arrange my home to your pets needs whatever they may be.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and have proudly raised my Mayflower (16 year old Boston terrier) since I was 12 years old. I see all dogs as our best friends and family and will care for your dogs with the same love and dedication that I care for mine. I am an incredibly active person, I spend my spare time backpacking and hiking and love to bring my dogs with me on my weekend camping trips. My dogs are my world, and I think all dogs deserve to be surrounded by loving people even if I’m just a dog sitter! I can’t wait to meet your pups and dogs and make more amazing dog friendships! At my home we have a small back yard and our apartment is very dog friend, both of my dogs are good with dogs and up to date on their shots. When caring for your pets in my home or away I will schedule my work around your dog and work from home.

About: I'm the kind of person that would have a hundred dogs to take care of if I could! All of them would be rescues. I would love to help you take care of your animals while you're at work or away. I am a Hands-On, play with the dogs , make sure they get love and affection , walks and proper care. It would be a pure pleasure to be able to help you be confident that your animal is taken care of while you're away at work. I must admit I suffer from a little bit of empty nest syndrome as my youngest child graduated and went off and is now doing her own thing, it makes me purely happy to scratch a dog behind their ears and have them be just delighted.
