“After a past experience with a less than stellar dog sitter, we were very concerned about leaving Tikka, our 15 year old Malti-poo for 12 days but in Sarah's care, she was absolutely fine! From the first meet and greet when Tikka, who is normally a bit aloof in the beginning, climbed onto the couch with Sarah I felt that she would be in good hands. Throughout our trip (starting before our plane even took off) Sarah emailed with updates and photos letting us know how our pup was doing. Quite a few of our neighbors, in our building and neighborhood, made a point of telling me that they had met Sarah, how much they liked her and that it was clear that Tikka was in good hands. The real proof of what good care Sarah took of Tikka was when we arrived home to find Tikka fast asleep on the couch, close to where Sarah was sitting. While happy to see us, Tikka was not frenetic or upset, as she sometimes gets when left alone even for just a few hours. We hung out and chatted with Sarah before she departed and Tikka happily climbed onto the back of the couch behind Sarahto rest. Clearly she both liked and trusted Sarah! We are thrilled that we found someone that both we and more importantly our dog, like and trust, for future dog sitting. We wholeheartedly recommend Sarah!”

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 and was given my miniature Australian Shepard at that age. She passed in 2020 and although I havent had another dog since, I am happy and comfortable around dogs. I work at an animal hospital on the West side and love it. I worked at AMC for two years as a veterinary assistant which confirmed for me I am in the right field. I am currently SAH so I have ample time to walk pets/ pet sit for anyone that needs assistance in their everyday lives. As long as I have notice I can manage anything I make sure I have many toys and bowls of water/food for the pets. I know about mannerisms for pets and am comfortable giving space or playing with pets that need it. All depends on what they want/ are comfortable with

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... About: I have been house sitting since I was 14 years old. From homes with 2 large puppies to homes with 4 dogs and 7 cats ranging in ages. I love animals and spend a lot of time working with animals with my sister who is Veterinarian. I am a full time nursing student with a full time job. I am completely available for your pet sitting needs from Friday through Monday. Your pets will have my complete attention when in my care. Not only will I tend to their needs, I will play with them, and show them love.

About: ** Will be moving to Long Island August 1st ** I have been raised with both cats and dogs throughout my life. I am currently a licensed veterinary technician and waiting to start veterinary school. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs/cats. I have experience with both senior dogs/cats as well as puppies and kittens. Administering medication and participating in daily training is also not a problem. I’m currently unemployed while preparing for veterinary school so I have plenty of time to watch your furry family member. I am able to do weekends, early mornings and even late nights. I am unable to bring pets into my home since I have three cats and one dog. I will follow your daily schedule and routine in order to keep your furry family member happy and comfortable. The more instructions and requests the better so I know what needs to be done for your pet

About: Taking care of animals is what I love to do. I’ve volunteered at the USPCA for two years, where I not only walked shelter dogs, but made sure they had enough social interaction. I’ve learned a lot with in the timespan of my experience and am confident I can care for your animal. I am currently enrolled in the vet tech program for suny ulster I’m currently working part time so I will be able to have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a flexible schedule and will be able to adjust to your schedule I have two dogs at my house so I will only be taking overnight home sitting at the owners house. I will care for your pets as if they were mine. I love animals and can ensure you will they get a lot of attention.

About: As I will be your dogs new best friend I will create a homely atmosphere for your fur baby. I have experience with all types of animals as well as special needs animals. I have experience administering medications. I have taken care of special needs animals before as one of my family members does have a dog prone to seizures as well as special needs. I have watched her many times and have never missed med times or had any problems. As a fur baby lover, I love car rides as well as trips to the dog park. I love cuddling and relaxing with all the fur babies under my care. While your fur baby is in my care, I will give them lots of loving as I know a new face might be a little bit scary. Your fur baby will be provided with days of fun and love. I am available any time to watch your fur baby whether it be just one walk or a whole week pet/housesitting. The only exception is if I’m already scheduled for someone else. My biggest concern is keeping your fur baby content and healthy. One of the best ways I have found to lessen stress is keeping a strict schedule.

About: I have been dog/cat sitting since I was 11 and its held a place in my heart since. Walking my dog is my absolute favorite past time. Seeing happy animals makes me happy. I bond with every animal that I meet and I hope to meet so many more :) I currently work full time at a sandwich shop and part time and Ace Hardware. I do work a lot, however my real passion is caring for animals. I always make time for my pets, as I would do for yours. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where I go on plenty of walks everyday. I live with my mother who has a 7 month old husky-mix puppy and 3 cats, I have a 2 year old beagle-mix puppy, who is incredibly loving. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
