But Jessica gave her some space, talked to her, and she fairly quickly bonded. While she was at the house, Jessica and Lorelei went on a fairly long walk, and when I arrived home, Lorelei was napping, which is her usual afternoon activity. I have always treated my pets as part of the families. I have nursed them back if they have had ever gotten sick and I’ve have cared for them into their senior years.
