“Where do I even begin?! Mandi was an exceptional sitter and provided such a source of comfort while we were away, despite several “hiccups.” Our greyhound Ziggy got into a large bag of pill pockets which made him really sick. At one point, he became so irritable and blocked Mandi from getting back inside the house! But she remained so patient with him and tried lots of solutions until finally he calmed down. She never once made us feel bad and was so willing to help. Ziggy had several accidents in the house due to his upset stomach and anxiety from fireworks, and Mandi cleaned everything up with no complaint. She even made a special trip to the vet to pick up meds for him, and prepared him a bland diet of cooked chicken and rice! Last but not least - we have the worst luck - our refrigerator died and Mandi cleaned out as much of the spoiled food as she could. This could have been the worse vacation considering everything but Mandi was a true professional and helped us relax without having to worry too much about Ziggy’s care. We will definitely be reaching out in the future (if we haven’t scared her off lol!).”

“Love the updates and really appreciated you taking in our trash can as an added bonus! Sebastian looks like he really enjoyed playing with you and especially his stick toy and being brushed! Thank you so much! 🧡Jen bonus is should be home this evening for More pets and love!”

“Excellent as always! Rebecca is so reliable and sweet to our pets- they really love her! Her ability to stop by on a last minute availability request (on a holiday no less) saved the day! 100% recommend Rebecca!”

“Heather has done an amazing job with my pup Courage. Since he's so young, i have her dropping by twice a day while I am at work, and she sends me video and photo updates of my pup. Courage seems to be warming up to her and I appreciate that he's in good hands.”

About: I have been an animal lover and pet owner my entire life. Over the years, I have been a pet parent (or pet grandparent!) to fish, birds, mice, rats, and even ferrets! As the current owner of one rotten Border Collie and six spoiled cats, my pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I understand the importance of keeping your pets safe, comfortable, and stress free when you can’t be there. I would love the opportunity to give your fur babies the love and care they need, and deserve, in your absence. I am currently a stay-at-home wife and the mom of one grown and flown daughter with plenty of time available to take care of you, and your fur baby’s, needs. As a trusted person in your home, careful attention detail and leaving things as they found them is of utmost importance to me! I want you and your fur babies to be comfortable and secure in the fact that I will care for them in a way you would, and carefully follow any care instructions given to ensure their safety, and your peace of mind.

“Tavin is amazing. She is very professional and went above and beyond to care for our dogs . We received pictures and updates all seven days of our vacation. She’s very flexible and responsive to requests. We will definitely look to Tavin in the future to take care of our dogs.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and developed a deep love and respect for animals from an early age. I grew up with two cats, one of whom was truly my best friend. She was by my side 24/7 throughout my childhood, and her passing was incredibly difficult, a reminder of just how deep the bond with an animal can be. I also regularly cared for a neighbor’s dog while he was in hospice. I’ve looked after friends’ pets while they were on vacation, always making sure they felt safe, loved, and well cared for. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, they often make the most loyal and understanding companion I am currently working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. I am willing to check in on animals during week days before I go into work and after. I am ok with staying overnight as well. I am available on weekends whatever times are needed. In client’s home I follow the directions of care that they have requested for their pet. I also start by greeting the pets and making sure they get as much love as they need as it is difficult for them when their owner is not there.

“Dianne gave our pup the VIP treatment! She went above and beyond our expectations for drop in visits. She treated him with special Santa treats for Christmas! I felt comfortable knowing I was leaving him in good hands. She included videos in her Rover cards and was on time, every time. Blu can’t wait to see her again soon!”

“Lindsey is extremely kind, prompt and very meticulous about her work with animals. Our dogs both enjoyed their time with her, especially our boy Max who was treated to a walk to his favorite location in Martinsburg. We are looking forward to future visits with Lindsey, and would definitely recommend her. 😊”

“Michael was great with my cat and dog. My dog had separation anxiety issues and let me know whenever she did do a little damage and gave her a walk to help her. He was very attentive with their needs. I would use him again!”

“I had a very positive experience with my first time using Rover. It was great to not have to worry about my pets because they were being cared for. I would definitely book with Bri again.”
