“Dena has a love for dogs i wish more people had! She took care of my puppy for his first visit to somewhere else besides his home and i couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. She should definitely be considered for any dog as a sitter”

About: Hi! I’m an International Professional Dog Groomer working with animals since 2019. Caring for pets is more than a job for me — it’s truly my passion. I’ve worked in both veterinary hospitals and professional grooming salons, where I gained experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and individual needs. As I do have a professional background in grooming. When appropriate and discussed within your booking, I’m happy to incorporate grooming care as part of your pet’s stay to help keep them comfortable. My goal is always to provide a calm, safe, and stress-free environment where your pet feels loved and well cared for. I look forward to caring for your fur baby and giving them a comfy, positive experience 🐾🤍 Rabies Vaccinations is required upon booking for dogs & cats Pet care is a consistent and important part of my daily routine. I structure my days around the needs of the pets in my care to ensure they receive proper attention, supervision, and timely services. Throughout the day, I schedule time for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, grooming appointments, and rest periods. I am intentional about not overbooking so each pet receives the quality care, patience, and one-on-one attention they deserve. My weekly routine is flexible to accommodate both grooming and boarding clients, while still maintaining a calm and structured environment. This allows me to provide reliable, attentive care and adjust as needed based on each pet’s individual needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, calm, and secure environment where pets can feel at ease while in my care. In my home, pets are always supervised and given a structured routine that includes regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and rest. Each pet has a safe, designated space to relax, and I carefully monitor all interactions to ensure a stress-free experience. For grooming services, I use a gentle, low-stress approach, allowing pets to feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I take my time and adjust based on each pet’s behavior and needs.
“Our Shih Tzu, Cookie, has been staying here periodically since August, 2021. We are extremely happy with the care he receives at Beverly's. She has impressed us as being exceptionally kind, capable, and caring. What's more, Cookie loves it here--he has a coniption to get to the door when we arrive at Beverly's house. He loves his play dates and sleepovers when Mom and Dad need to get things done without his "help." And, we have peace of mind knowing that he is getting the best possible care in a dog friendly place and that he enjoys his time here.”

About: I've always had pets growing up and I know the care and attention demands of dogs and cats. As a pet owner myself I want you to have the confidence that you fur babies are in good nurturing hands. Book me to care for your fur baby and let's schedule your peace of mind! I work part time and make my own schedule so I can easily fit your pet's attention needs into a routine that works for everyone. I will require a minimum 4 days lead time to allow for a meet and greet before anything is booked. When caring for your pet in your home I'll make sure that all of your requirements are met along with any special needs your fur baby requires, especially snuggles and play time.
“Shelby is a wonderful pet sitter who took great care of our furry girl. We had a great first impression when we met her. Amora is usually shy and doesn’t interact much, but I was surprised when I heard that she was playing with Shelby’s kids. I’m so glad that Amora’s first experience went smoothly. I will definitely use her services again.”

About: I have been a dog lover since my first dog followed me home at the age of 6 (and he was a full size Doberman of all things). I currently have a German Shepherd, Pit bull Mix, Husky Mix, Chihuahua Mix and an Orange Tabby so I'm used to animals of all sizes and temperaments. My poor Pit Mix has allergies, my GSD has hip dysplasia and my Chihuahua has a heart condition, so I'm well versed in special needs! I do research constantly and spend lots of time talking to our vet about how I can make their lives, and mine, easier. I'd love to put all that knowledge to work for your fur babies! I know CPR for dogs and even keep a doggie first aid kit in my car! Just in case. I do my best to make sure my presence is felt as little as possible in your home but that your baby gets all the attention they need and deserve! I'm currently dog and cat grooming only on Fridays and Saturdays. So usually Sun-Thurs its just me and my pets living our best lives. I have a two acre property that we constantly explore and we love to go swimming at the nearby lake! I do my best to be as unintrusive as possible when in you're home! Letting me know their favorite toys and activities do make things easier for us to bond! I have a fully fenced in half acre with another acre and a half we can explore while leashed! There are cows, chickens and other animals on the farm next door so there's plenty of sights (and smells)!
About: I am currently a student of the University of Texas Arlington working on my Master’s degree in Social Work and I am hoping to make some extra money to help pay for some of the college expenses. A few fun facts about me are that I love playing sports, having movie nights, and cooking. Growing up, I had a ton of animals and currently I don’t have any pets so I miss loving on all the fur babies. I love spending time loving and playing with dogs and I believe this is a great opportunity for me to be able to do that, make a little extra money, and get some exercise in as well. I am working full time from 8:30am to 5pm, however, I would be open to doing a walk and check in during my lunch hour and anytime before or after work. When the pets are in my home, they are allowed to roam free and play all they want as long as they are potty trained. In the clients home I respectfully abide by the owners instructions left for me.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
