About: Retired couple with love to spare... and your pets will love us! We are especially patient with puppies and seniors, but love to romp with active adult dogs, too! We're very happy to help you. My schedule is wide open. Recently finished working in a eldercare hospice arrangement and that assignment is now complete. Looking to provide care in another way. Treating your baby with love and your home with respect are top priorities for me. Being trusted in your home and with your pet(s) is an honor.

About: What sets me apart is the personal attention I give to each pet - I take time to learn their routine, quirks, and what makes them happy. I’m reliable, caring, and always aim to make their time with me fun, safe, and stress-free. Pet care fits into my routine pretty naturally- morning feeds, walks, and playtime are part of the daily rhythm. On the weekends, I do things like bathe and cleaning up their space. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely. I make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable while keeping everything clean and consistent.

About: I am a single middle age compassionate, loving female who will absolutely show your dog or cat the most love and affection he or she has ever known! I do not have children and I believe our pets are a reflection of our own soul and speak to us through the way they interact with us. If we have had a bad day, they know. If we have had a good day, they know that too! This is my only job so my schedule is pretty open to meeting the needs of you and your fur babies. I look forward to meeting you and your precious pooch or kitty for lots of love! I am a retired veteran so caring for your fur baby is my #1 priority. Check my schedule on the Rover app. Let me be your preferred sitter! I can accommodate your pet by house sitting in your home. About: I’m a pre-vet student with extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and currently have two dogs at home, including one that was a rescue! In addition to personal experience, I also have experience working with animals in veterinary settings, both hands-on and behind the scenes. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering medications, senior pet care, puppies/kittens, and monitoring pets for signs of stress or illness. I also have knowledge of basic pet first aid and am comfortable handling post-surgery and recovery care when given instructions. I genuinely love working with animals and always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I treat and love all animals like my own and will accommodate to care for each pet’s specific needs and personality! I’m a college student home for the summer with a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I work part-time and also spend time each week shadowing in veterinary clinics to continue gaining hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary medicine. Even with those commitments, I carefully schedule pet sitting around them so I can provide pets with the time, attention, and care they deserve through walks, drop-in visits, and even overnight stays. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, so I always do my best to maintain their normal routine in their home environment. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable with crates, medications, specific feeding schedules, walks, overnight care, and post-surgery/recovery care. As a pre-vet student who regularly shadows in veterinary clinics, I’m attentive, responsible, and I always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being!

About: Animals are my absolute passion! I am currently a major in biology and I have 3 years combined working with animals from dog boarding facilities and veterinary clinics. In my free time I have been pet sitting for years as well! Both dogs and cats are in good hands! I work part time with a flexible schedule so it is easy for me to make time to accommodate! It is preferred that there is a notice, so I can make changes to my schedule as needed In my clients home I do exactly what is instructed to me and respect the boundaries that are set by the client. And of course, leave the animals happy and healthy.

About: I have been around dogs all my life. I love them to death. Recently I got my own puppy and he is a well behaved cutie. I am also dabbling into dog training (read books, watch YouTube videos) and have been able to train my dog successfully. If you leave your pet in my care, they will be well taken care of! I work full time, remotely. I take my own dog out several times in a day and play fetch for long hours. I love running with my dog, and playing tug. On weekends, we sometimes go on hikes. I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of some more fur babies. I keep an eye on my pet all the time. I have a well-behaved English Shepherd, who is a great influence himself if you have young pups in need for behavior training. My apartment has an unfenced yard, and I live JUST 1 min away from our community dog park.

About: I believe dogs, like people, need exercise and play time, and lots of love! I am so excited to play with your dogs! I will treat your pets and your home with the care and affection I would exercise on my own home. Animals and hiking are my true passions, so being out in nature with your pup is always a dream come true for me. We will stay active and engaged together to distract them from how much they miss you. Please check out my ample references. I have owned, cared for, and trained dogs all my life, and I love to fill my life with their infectious positivity. I am comfortable with all sizes and temperaments. Please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns, and I will reply as soon as possible! I like to help anyone who needs help! People aren't traveling as much as they used to, so I also clean houses, refinish decks, and am a notary public. I prioritize the pet care, and make my other puzzle pieces fit around your fur babies. I have 24.5 acres- 22 of it is an extensive old forest network with trails weaving around. The meadow area would make a great place to play fetch and enjoy the environment. The attention, exercise and great smelling work will keep your dog engaged and happy in your absence.

About: My family have always owned at least 4 dogs at a time and growing up it was our responsibility as kids to care for them. We would brush them, walk them, feed them, and bath them. I work fully remote and am willing to travel. I would be able to give full attention to your pets. Since my job is remote, it gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. Most of my days are spent behind a monitor working. They will have my attention at all time. They might get tired of me wanting to play with them. I love being around dogs and will make sure your fury friend is well taken care of and happy

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Limestone. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Limestone.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Limestone. On Rover:

  • 86% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
