“Hayley was amazing with Buddy, my high energy 4 month old pup! Buddy is my first puppy and I feel comfortable having Hayley look after him. She is very caring, organized, trustworthy and responsible. She genuinely cares about Buddy’s well-being and getting him the proper exercise he needs. I am so happy that I hired Hayley to do daily drop-ins. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for proper care for their fur baby.”

About: I've had dogs and cats since I was a kid and truly love all the furballs. I look after them with attention to detail and care for your pet like I would my very own, such as my sweet sheltie, Buddy. I'm currently working part-time with a flexible schedule so I am able to tailor my schedule to my pets and their owner's needs, every day of the week. I will take careful note of exactly your wishes for your furball and satisfy what their needs are in my walks, visits and sits with them. They will be in the best hands with me.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. I’m currently 19, so 19 years of loving dogs all sizes and breeds. I’ve actually dog sat for 3 family friends here and there for about 5 years and would love to do the same for someone else who may need it as well!! I’m currently in school to become a vet technician as well! I love animals any kind and would love to get to love your animals just like they’re my own!! I’m currently working part time tropical smoothie! However, I can attend to your animal whenever they may need within my availability! I really would love to go on walks no matter the weather and even play with your pup. I love running and am very active so I would be the same with your pup if they allow me! Just gives me more cardio in the end lol! I would love to just hangout and play with your pup all day!! I do not care for pets in my own home. However, I will do my best to accommodate to your home and what i’ll need to do to take care of your pup the best!

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family, neighbors, and friends for the last 6-7 years. I have more experience with dogs— ranging from all sizes and ages, however I love cats and never say no to a feline friend as well! Expected care for the animals from me has included daily walks, feeding per directed schedule, hanging out with them, medication administration as needed, and cleaning up after them after an occasional “oopsie”. Most of my experience has been staying in client houses, so I am comfortable with that, however I am also more than confident with driving back and forth for potty breaks throughout the day. I just completed grad school and I am a certified Physician Associate working in the ER. My work schedule is typically 2-3 12h shifts a week— flipping between day and night shifts. My schedule for pet care is more client-based than anything and I will always work my personal schedule around taking care of the animals needs first. I prefer keeping the clients pets in their homes for their safety and comfort. I will always put them on leashes unless they are fenced in and I will go outside with them initially to keep an eye on them and to feel out the surroundings myself.

About: I've grown up with animals my whole life, always having a cat and/or dog around! I love my family pets dearly, and since I live far away from them now, I am missing the connection with a furry friend. I have lived with and helped raise my current dog and cat since they were babies all the way to their current old ages. I used to check on my neighbors pets, they had 4 in total--two dogs (one senior), two cats. I would take the dogs outside for bathroom and run around time, as well as feed them lunch. Cats are elusive, so I just made sure they had food and fresh water available. I'd also stay extra time to dole out all the affection the animals needed before mom and dad got home. Currently I care for 8 fish in my 20 gallon fish tank! I'm in college at the moment but my schedule is open in the afternoons/evenings. Monday I have classes at 11 am so I can do a morning check. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I spend the morning student teaching so I am available after 1-1:30 pm for checks, Tuesday and Thursday I have a class from 6-7 pm. Friday I have only one commitment from 3-5 pm so I can do morning checks and afternoon/evening checks. Weekends are mostly open, occasionally I have events. I cannot care for your pet in my own home, but I am more than willing to care for your pet in your home. Pets are usually more comfortable with a new person when they are in their own territory. As long as I know the rules for taking care of your pet, I will be able to give you and your pet a positive care experience.

About: I have been working in the veterinary field for six years now. I’ve been working with all kinds of animals. So I am willing to check in on anything from reptiles to dogs and cats! I currently work three days ( Thursday-Saturday). But I would still be able to drop in and checking on your pets! Can also make time to take them on a walk/ hike if need for the high energy doggies I currently live in an apartment so unfortunately I am unable to have other animals here. But I do have two very spoiled dogs of my own also have a leopard gecko of my own!!

About: I've taken care of dogs for my whole life. I've grown up and comfortable with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, horses, chickens etc. I've worked with Petsmart for 4 years now. I've grown up around rescued dogs which made me very used to scared/semi-aggressive dogs. I've also been used to having old dogs, so I understand medication times, helping them use the bathroom, getting them around the house, and the patience it takes. And for energetic dogs, I'm a very active person and walk 4 miles daily in my free time, so if you need them to wind down, I'm here to help! I am a college student, but I'll have my car with me and will be there if you need it, as long as I know in advance my schedule can work with yours! I work Doordash, Rover, and at a Daycare. I will NOT be running Doordash while providing a service to you, the daycare closes M-F at 5:30 and isnt open on the weekends. The rest of my day will be dedicated to care and love for your pet! In your home I will stick by your usual routine. Times they eat, go outside, walk, etc. I focus on making your pets happy. If they act like they need to go outside, I will drop everything to take them. You can expect everything placed back in order from when you left. I dont like messes in my home, especially when coming back from traveling or a long day at work, you can ensure a clean environment waiting for you, as if no one was even there.

Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m happy to provide personalized care based on their needs. I’m currently in nursing school, which has strengthened my attention to detail, patience, and responsibility. I’ll always treat your pet as if they were my own, keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. About: Hi, I’m Kris! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have two years of professional experience working in a busy doggy daycare, where I was responsible for safely supervising and caring for up to 20 dogs at a time. That experience taught me how to read canine body language, manage group play, administer medications, maintain proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, and provide a safe, low-stress environment for every dog in my care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, including puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and pets with behavioral challenges or special medical needs. I’ve also fostered dogs in my home, which has given me additional experience helping nervous or transitioning pets feel safe and comfortable. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to three dogs and a cat, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, a patient companion, medication, or simply lots of love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. My goal is simple: to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and happy every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! et care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already structure my day around consistency and animal care. I have experience managing multiple pets at once, so I’m used to building my schedule around feeding times, litter box maintenance, play sessions, and check-ins. I’m typically available mornings, afternoons, and evenings, which allows me to provide reliable drop-in visits and maintain a steady routine for each pet I care for. I’m comfortable incorporating visits into my day-to-day activities, and I plan my time so pets always get full attention without feeling rushed. Because I’ve worked in structured animal care settings and have fostered pets in my home, staying on top of routines like feeding, cleaning, medication, and companionship is second nature to me. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in”—it’s something I naturally organize my day around I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment in every pet care visit. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. I’m careful with home entry and follow all owner instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medication routines, and any house rules. I keep doors secured during visits, monitor pets closely during interactions, and make sure their environment stays clean, comfortable, and safe at all times. Building trust with both pets and owners is important to me. I approach each animal with patience and respect, especially shy, senior, or anxious pets, and I always move at their comfort level. My goal is to create a safe, consistent experience so pets feel secure while you’re away and you feel

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of November 2026, there are 1,093 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Limaville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

Before booking, confirm:

  • the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
  • the care instructions the sitter should follow;
  • which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
  • how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Limaville. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
