My oldest cat died 1 week of 21 years. I adopted her at 3 months. I have given insulin to one of my cats that was diabetic until she passed d/t the illness. I am currently hospice caring my Pom Bre who is 16 1/2 yrs old. Start & end my days feeding my 4 inside cats, 3 catico cats & 2 dogs. I place a pad down in the shower when at work for dogs to use if needed as dogs are 12 & 16 1/2. Dogs are walked every morning & evening, more often on wkends.
