About: I’ve always had pets growing up and some would say I prefer animals over people. I’ve been involved in rescue since 2004 and have seen firsthand just how cruel people can be. As a former vet tech, I promise to take care of your babies just like my own. You have nothing to worry about while you’re away. Lots of check ins, photos and love! I do work full time M-F but am available before and after work. Depending on location, a quick trip at lunch to say hi may work too. I’m totally available on weekends. while visiting your home, your kiddos will be safe with me. Whether it’s playing in a fenced yard or on leash, They will get all the exercise they need.

I’m Kameron—a lifelong animal enthusiast with a soft spot for every creature, big or small. 🐶🐾 I grew up in a house full of animals, and since then, I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats and guinea pigs (I’ve had five!) to bunnies and even a leopard gecko! I’m currently an intern and volunteer at an animal shelter where I work with the community to promote adoption, be a voice for the voiceless, and champion responsible pet ownership. I’ve also fostered pets and provided personal pet sitting, and I'm the proud pet parent of a very spoiled guinea pig. Animals aren’t just a passion—they’re my purpose. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at home while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a long walk, couch cuddles, or a little TLC, I’m here for it all! I have been a pet sitter and caretaker in my personal life on and off for over 5 years- whether that be family, friends or friends of friends. I started this journey pet sitting on the side, but have made the decision to leap into it more full time! I am currently super flexible on my pet sitting, as I am in between jobs & new to the Charlotte area. I would love to provide any care I can within my availability! I live in a large apartment complex with plenty of area to walk. There is a small dog run on the complex property & walking trails/parks just minutes away. I have a two bedroom apartment, allowing your pet ample space! For more specific questions, please contact me directly- I am more than willing to adjust my lifestyle for what your pet needs! In the past, I have kept other pets separate from my guinea pig- as not all pets get along & to maintain personal space for both animals. I have experience with animals that need a crate, as well as ones that do not! I have cared for pets with a long criteria list, and pets that are just go with the flow. Both are welcome! As a pet parent myself, I would want my animal being cared for to my preferences & want to make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away. I do have a guinea pig! Rover does not have a section to add in My Pets section (Dogs & Cats were the only choices). But he will be kept separately!

We normally take her with us everywhere, however this trip we found ourselves in a situation where it would not be appropriate bring her. She has a mild case of separation anxiety and is never left alone. We needed someone to sit with her in our home for a few hours while we went out. We found Angelina on Rover, she has lots of great reviews, so we contacted her and explained our situation and she agreed to take the job. It turns out she lives very close to us and came over for a meet and greet the morning of the day she was going to watch our little girl. Bitsy is very timid but she warmed up to Angelina. We were confident that Bitsy would be content while we were gone. Angelina arrived promptly at the time we agreed upon, we left knowing Bitsy would be well taken care of and were able to enjoy our night out. Angelina did a great job we would definitely use her again.”

About: I have worked at various doggy daycares over the past 5 years, where I monitored and handled up to 150 dogs at once. I bathed dogs, trimmed their nails, fed them, cared for injuries and sicknesses, walked them, played with them, trained them, and medicated them every day, and have firsthand experience breaking up fights. I have over a year’s worth of management experience, which meant making decisions catered to each dogs’ needs everyday. I have a wide range of knowledge on dogs and dog breeds. I have pet sitting experience, which includes cats, and I have also worked at an aquarium and with non releasable birds of prey. I have a wide range of experience, from exotics, birds, reptiles, rodents, and even to marsupials. I spent 4 years studying ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado Boulder, so I have a general biology background as well. I am doing school online, so I have plenty of time to fill with furry, scaly, and feathery friends! I am used to early mornings and the time that goes into animal care. I have a fenced yard at home for my two dogs to run around and play in. I love enrichment, training, cuddling, foraging tasks, smelling games, fetch, etc. for all dogs and animals. All animals deserve an enriching environment full of a lot of variety, play, and healthy challenges. They deserve adventures, love, and genuine, heartfelt connection and care with other animals and with their humans. I will let those principles reflect in my work for your furry friend!

About: I'm not new to animals! I'm (technically 😑) in my mid 30's, I'm an Army Vet, and I love ALL animals (even reptiles!). My family has had animals since the day I was born. At some point it turned into a farm. Horses, goats, cats, dogs, reptiles! I have given medical care to many different species.. from drawing blood from horses and IV medications to horses and dogs. I have a snake named Pascale (kids, ha) he is a pied ball python. He actually had to have surgery a few years ago and we went thru multiple rounds of antibiotics before and after the surgery, all of which were injections. I have owned 3 dogs, 2 of which I raised from puppies until they were old ladies. Just a little over a year ago I lost my 13 yo blue Pitbull, Luna. I had her since I was 19, and it's been really hard without her. I'm honestly not quite ready to have another dog yet, but I do love loving on everyone else's pets! Including family pets, I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and medications etc. I also help friends/ family with training. From simple commands like "sit" and "down" to crate training and more. I am not a professional or certified, but I do have knowledge and experience with each as stated. Thanks for considering me with your furbabies 😊 I have 2 kids, both school age, so that's definitely a factor. I believe to start off with I will mainly be doing drop in visits, play time etc. We have 3 small dogs in our home, 1 being a teacup puppy. So I would have to be very careful about any animals brought into my home, boarding for example. Currently my schedule is open until I get a feel for things and see how this all works out :) I do not have a fenced in yard but I live out in a rural area on 5 acres of land. So once I'm comfortable with your dog, and they can be trusted to, then we can have lots of fun playing. If a leash is needed (walks, no fence etc) then I can still run and play with them. Hopefully we can find an area around your home somewhere that's enclosed to play in. I'm not someone that's ever been a "dog park" type of person. There's just too much excitement and so much can go wrong. So I definitely won't be doing that with an animal that isn't mine. I prefer a harness, not a collar, and a fixed leash (prefer 6 ft), not a retractable one. Collars lead to so many issues with the esophagus/ throat, and retractable leashes are not always reliable.
