About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. I want your pet to feel comfortable & loved by me.

About: Most of my experience has been from pets of family and friends. I have the upmost respect for animals and love to interact with them as they allow. I have some experiences with special care like food preparation and giving medications, just give some instructions and count on it being done. In my younger years I’ve had experience with caring for birds, although it’s been some time since then, I am fully capable. Hugs and pets are part of my services but only if your animal allows. Currently, I have a flexible schedule and my calendar is typically up to date. I do have an elderly cat which needs special care everyday but i can typically move things around easily. I have 1 cat who need medication 2x a day and has a special diet. I am very flexible with pet care and can do most things that your pet needs.

About: I am an outgoing, active, and loving person who prides herself in going above and beyond for animals and people. I aim to please and make the time away from your animals as easy as possible with no worries on the attention and care they get from me. I am currently a stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule and can fit anything into my schedule. About: I am currently working at a doggy daycare in Kalamazoo and I have worked at a couple other dog daycare/boarding centers in the past. I love dedicating my time to help these dogs be comfortable, safe, happy and enriched. Some of my tasks at these daycares include: Maintaining a safe and clean environment, reading dogs body language and ensuring they stay comfortable and safe, managing a pack of up to 60+ dogs, basic training, basic grooming, administer medication, and more! I grew up in Indiana with multiple different pets such as cats, guinea pigs, fish, and dogs. I am now in Portage with 2 German Shepherds, continuing my passion of working with dogs and would love to help families and pets meet their needs. I am currently working part time at a dog daycare in the mornings and am usually off around 12. I have a 3 month old daughter that may need to come with during walks and stop ins. I am also free on weekends. I will respect all of the clients and dogs boundaries. Read over any rules and keep in contact with the owner. I focus on making sure we stay safe and happy. I will double check gates and yards to make sure there isnt a possibility of escaping. Double check that all tasks are done properly and on time. And I will make sure to contact owner if there are any issues or questions.

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: I've had a dog since I was 3 and currently have my own 2 year old doggo that I got in Jan 2022. Neighbors and friends rely on me to pet sit for them. I have experience with all sized dogs. I also has experience with cat sitting as well! Me and my roommates currently foster cats. I’m a part-time student at WMU. I class 12-3 on Wednesdays, but other than that I’m pretty much free. I do have a dog of my own and need to care for him as well. I'm willing to do anything the pet needs whether that be making sure the animal take needed meds, changing wound dressings, or running around a dog park. I'm also very patient with animals!

About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember! I've helped some at a vet clinic and cared for dogs there. I have had my own dog who was a senior. I am very comfortable with, and have a soft spot in my heart for seniors. I actively dog sit acquaintances' dogs. I am very active and will love to run and walk your dog! I am not currently working, so I am home and happily willing to give 24 hour care to your pet. I have the extra time to spend playing with, walking, and snuggling your precious pet! I have a chain link enclosure with a high quality dog igloo, and I can easily crate your dog if needed, as well! While my yard is not fenced, I am home much of the time and am able to take your fur baby on long walks and playtime.

About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. I do have a part time job, but with enough notice I am happy to arrange my shifts to suit your animal’s needs. I typically work evenings. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: As of right now i have become available full time for Rover! I have a 9 year old dog and 3 year old of my own very playful and full of energy. There names are Scout and selene. I take animals out at least 3 times a day(if not more) so they will have plenty of time to go do their business and go on walks. I would love to care for your pets in home or for drop in visits. I am available for any type of visit so let me know what your looking for and I can see what I can do! I'll have plenty of time alloted for your pets. Let me know their favorites times for walks, food, play time, etc. I will have them taken care of as if you were taking care of them! Pets will be greated with lots of love and attention, the fur baby and I will follow all instructions left by you the owner and before heading out give them more love and attention. I live in a great apartment complex with plenty of other dogs running around a dog park and even another being built around the corner! Two pups at home to keep them entertained while you are away!

Animal care has been my passion my entire life, and I've both fostered and petsat for over 25 years combined experience. Is your dog a Sr, more interested in cuddles and snacks? We'll be sofa bums and make sure any medications are on time. Is your dog still in training? Show me what they are working on and we'll keep working on it while you travel. Does kitty like to snuggle? Or are they less visible when strangers are around? I will go at their pace. With me, you can trust that your pets are in the hands of someone who will see them as one of their own. With a special needs cat of my own, and previously special needs dog, I am no stranger to in home medical care, litter boxes, yard poop detail, etc. Let's talk about your family's needs and how I can support them. I work remotely, with an open schedule to meet your pets needs. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening needs seven days a week. At this time I only offer care in my clients' homes and dog walks in their general area. Depending on the needs I can perform the following: Feed, medicate, continue existing training habits, walk, clean litter boxes, brush, cuddle, and play. If you are traveling I will also water plants, bring in mail, and alternate lights on in the house to appear as someone is home if desired. My house sitting rates include this care with an overnight stay. Mid Day drops ins can be discussed for an additional cost.

About: I've had a lot of experience taking care of dogs of all ages. Growing up, we always had several dogs. I would always do the basic stuff you think about, like walking the dogs, feeding the dogs, etc. Ideally, this is what I will be doing for work. I can fit pet care into my schedule and whatever time helps me best do the job. The most important thing would be to follow any directions given to me by the pet owner. After all, they know the pet best. From there, it is about using basic pet care skills that I know I have.

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.
