I would trust and recommend Mary a thousand times. She often sent updates and communicated thoroughly. She removes the stress of his wellbeing away from me.

About: We are a married couple in our 40s interested in house/pet-sitting together. We have pet-sat for a few NC and TN families for the past several years, and both of us had pet-sat before we met as well. Zachary works from home and so will be around the house much of the day if dogs need a mid-day walk or meal. Denny wakes up early and can feed and walk dogs in the early morning. Between us, we have experience with cats, dogs, fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, livestock, reptiles, and amphibians. We are willing to work with other animals as well. We prefer to sleep at the pet-owner's home when needed, as this means that we’re around and available for the pets at various times throughout the day. Denny also does drop-in care and dog-walking. Zachary has experience training dogs and volunteering with cats as well. Looking forward to meeting you! Zachary has a flexible work schedule and works from home. Denny is available to care for pets in the mornings, sometimes late afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We both enjoy walking and hiking and would love to take your dogs for walks. We don’t bring pets into our home but prefer overnight care in the pets’ home and are also open to drop-in care and walks. We are both very gentle with dogs and cats and enjoy lots of cuddles with pets, and we also make sure to take them for walks if desired.

About: I’ve taken care of all my family pets and my coaches pets when they were out of town. Your pet will be well taken care of. No worries they are in great hands. I’m working part time so I have all the time to pay attention to the specific caring and handling of your prize possessions. I’m available for night calls as well if you want to get away for a while I’m available. I have a lot of things that dogs would love in my home. From various snacks to toys and anything your pet may need I will provide. I keep my training sessions short. Although training classes are often one hour long, that's not the goal for at-home sessions. I also have to Spread training throughout the day, use rewards other than food and I won’t let walks go to waste. I have a dog of my own so I understand the importance of safety and wanting to make sure that your pups are well taken care. Every animal I come in contact with I take exceptional care of them. You won’t regret booking with me!

About: Ever since I was a little girl I was called “Dr. Do-little!” So once I was able to I started working in the veterinary field! I started working in the kennel, walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding, play times and extra snuggles with the cats. Eventually I worked my way up to veterinary technician and went to school for it. During all my years I learned all about dog/cat breeds. I learned about dogs body languages and signs I need to know to make sure they are always comfortable and also got to learn some training tricks along the way too! Now being retired I use all this knowledge while caring for pets and sometimes still teaching pet owners. My passion and love for animals is still as strong as it was as a little girl and I can’t wait to love on all your fur-babies! Hi there!! I’m a retired veterinary technician with 10+ years of experience caring for animals and advocating for their well-being. Now a dedicated stay-at-home and homeschooling mom, I want to help families care for their animals while they work! I can’t wait to get to know all your fur-babies :) Currently we live in an apartment on Mud Island in Memphis, Tennessee, we moved here from Virginia!! We have the best dog park less than a mile from our home, we have the best walking trails as well. We live on the bottom floor of our apartment so we have a lovely patio that we get to enjoy while watching the sunset or rise! I love to be outside when it’s nice out so most every morning my husband, myself and our daughter go for a 2 mile walk and nice evening walks!

About: I worked at the PetSmart Pets hotel for several years. I also worked at Camp Bow Wow. Ive taken care of lots of fur babies. I have a cat and a dog. I'm currently working part time as a receptionist. I work Monday-Thursday from 12PM-5PM. It leaves me with plenty of time to house sit and spend time caring for animals. I am respectful of other peoples spaces. I am loving towards all animals. When I am pet sitting I give the animals lots of attention. When i am house sitting I make sure to leave the space tidy. I am able to watch dogs overnight in my home. Again I have a dog who loves to play with other dogs. I kennel him when I leave the house for short periods of time. There are two dog parks in my area. We usually go on walks and hit up the dog park. I would bring your dog along with permission. I have open availability for pet sitting. I can pet sit at your house or mine. I am available for walks and drop ins too. My pets have breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We go on a walk in the morning and then when I get off of work. We go to the dog park a lot. I make sure to keep the dogs on leashes whenever we leave the residence. <3

Abby has come to my apartment several times to walk my dogs, and every time, things have gone smoothly. She has shown up on time, sent pictures, and gotten them out to get the exercise and bathroom breaks they need. She has also communicated with me ahead of time to make sure she fills any special requests (like letting them eat on the way out, or shutting them in my bedroom afterwards. I would not hesitate to have her come walk them again, and I have already booked her to pet sit overnight for me soon.

About: We live in a house with a fenced in yard and have 1 dog, our lovely German Shephard named Harper. She is very social and likes playing with other dogs and does not mind sharing toys. Would like to lay on your lap and cuddle all day. I have been taking care of dogs since I was a child. This includes my own dogs, but also dogs of friends and family while they were on vacations. I have experience administering medication, as one of my previous dogs suffered from epilepsy and had to get medicine every 12 hours. Dogs can roam around the house freely, are allowed to lay on the furniture and are taken on walks and to the dog park in Overton park every day. I work from home so I can arrange my schedule around any special needs for you pets. I work from home and can arrange my own hours, which provides me with the flexibility to make sure your pet gets any special needs they may require. I live in a big house where the dogs can freely roam around and are allowed to lay on the furniture. When the weather allows it I open the door to the fenced yard, where they can enjoy the sun or the shade from our tree. I have experience giving medicine to dogs and dogs with epilepsy.

About: What sets me apart from most is my genuine love of pets and my heart of servitude. I have over 15 years of pet care experience with some veterinary training and animal rescue mixed in. My deep love for animals allows me to grow connections to your pets which helps me tend to their personalities and needs better. I'm HIGHLY experienced with anxious animals as well. I am also a problem solver, critical thinker, and self starter. These traits have helped me jump into action and make wise decisions during animal care. For the past few years I have been sitting internationally with over 20 gleaming 5 star reviews. I am self employed and work strictly from my phone. [ UPDATE: I now have a Part time, Seasonal Job at a makeup retailer. I work a few days a week for about 3-4 hrs a day.] This allows me to be available any time and in short notices. I am reliable with ZERO cancelations AND 5 STARS across platforms. When sitting at your home, I am professional, neat, and tidy. I was once an owner of a organizing and cleaning company which I exercised respect for people's privacy and property. When sitting for you, you will come to a home that is shiny and neat along with happy pets. I also send daily updates in the form of photos or videos so you can rest assured that your babies are in good hands. Lastly, who said your vacation can't be theirs as well? While you are away, they will receive extra walks, play time, and snuggles.

About: I'm an early bird so morning walks are always in; Sir Connor (Rest In Dog Paradise ) he was a shih tzu mixed. He was not neutered, because I wanted grand fur babies at the time. I have fostered over a dozen dogs and a handful of cats. Daisy May was an extra addition to the family while I was fostering a puppy I called Maxwell; Maxwell has been adopted by a caring couple! Daisy May is currently the only dog I have so far. Sitting Schedule: Breakfast is at 10:30. I'm reading on how to train dogs and so treats would be ideal for play time! Dinner is severed at 7:30 I feed twice a day. If I have your dog on the weekend, they get to go on a field trip to Overton Park or Mud Island Dog Park. They also get enrichment time with pet toys and snacks! I also groom on the weekend. I mostly had dogs as pets; I rescued a cat and named him Jeffery and he was adopted by a loving family. If you have more questions feel free to ask me! Thank You! I’m currently working part-time as a caregiver; I’m available after 12:00pm during the week; My weekends are flexible. FAQs for Dog Walking - Lehi

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 594 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Lehi. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Lehi. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Lehi.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lehi. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
