About: Hello! My name is Amanda and I am 32 years old. I have always had a strong love and passion for animals of all species starting at a young age. I have worked in several animal shelters and have worked as a veterinary technician, as well as being a certified dog groomer. Animals will always and forever be my passion. In the past I have owned fish, dogs, cats, and a variety of reptiles and pocket pets. As of now I have 2 cats and 1 dog! Your fur babies are my top priority while you are away, treating them as if they were my own and making sure they are spoiled and in the best hands! Please consider me as the pet sitter for you; I promise you will not regret it! My schedule is mostly flexible. Being able to leave for a couple hours a day is a must for me since I have other obligations. I keep my schedule on here up to date as much as I can. I take care of pets in their own homes with the utmost respect. I want them to be comfortable with me so I will try to keep their routines going to help out with making them feel at ease.

About: I've taken care of all animals for most of my life. I have many years of experience taking care of househhold pets but also experience with primates, rodents, and exotic species due to my work. I currently have a full time job working for Pitt working Sunday-Thursday. I leave my home at 5AM return at 5PM on Monday-Thurs and returning around 4 on Sunday. I will be most available on my off days Fridays and Saturdays I promise to provide the utmost care and safety for your pet either in your own during drop-in visits or on our walks. I will make sure the experiences are fun and fulfilling for your pet as they explore new surroundings.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and have been caring for them my entire life. I have experience with both large and small dogs as well as cats. I’m currently home from college for the summer and working part time so I have a good amount of time on my hands, especially on Sundays and Mondays. I experience with almost every type of pet care you can think of including things like bathing, crating, playing, walking, feeding, and even giving medication.

About: I have grown up with many dogs, little and big. From taking them walks, cleaning the poop, and even just snuggles. I have a dog now who is just 4 yrs old. I love training her to do new tricks as she grows. (She can give hugs!) I worked at a Doggy/Cat boarding/Day care and loved spending time with them to build trust. I love helping the dogs and cats meet their needs and care as if they are my own until their own family will again. I am able to work through anytime on the week days. Start at 7am-9pm on the weekends. I can adapt to times and planning, even on short notice (shortest as a day before). I am able to work through handing dogs at your house as you want/need. Even cleaning through cages, vacuum, pick up poop, straight up toys. At the same time, your pet will be loved, fed/hydrated, play through the day, and all needs and/or wants.

“Crystal cared for our cat and our two fish tanks while we were away for ten days. Our cat cannot eat dry food and is on medication. This extremely shy kitty required two visits per day. Crystal's kindly patience earned our cat's trust so that she ate, took her meds, and was in fine form when we returned. The fish tanks are large, and one is salt water. The fish were well cared for, too. Our porch flowers were blooming and our house was in perfect order when we got home. Crystal sent photos and updates after every visit. I never had to worry. Crystal is an excellent, trustworthy caregiver!”

Let me tell you why! .... I bake homemade dog treats and love to run/walk with a loveable dog by my side! And snuggling up with a pup is probably one of the best feelings ever! I have an 8 year old cockapoo at home who is pretty awesome, if I do say so myself! I love to meet other dogs and spend time with them so I'm hoping I get to meet yours soon! I am a part time student (taking online classes) and I work part time as a florist so my schedule is pretty open to take care of your 'furry child' while you are away! For the last couple of years I have been watching my parents pets while they go on vacation along with friends animals. I am just looking to broaden my horizons by using Rover! I also feel as though having someone come to your house to care for your dog/cat is a lot less stressful for your pet and you have someone who is able to bring the mail in, water any plants, make sure the trash cans are taken to the curb, and just to make sure the house is still standing! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with at least one dog always in the house. When I moved out one of the first things I did was buy a puppy. He means the world to me and I would pretty much do anything for my cockapoo, Ramsay. And yes, he is named after Gordon Ramsay! My experience administering medication Yes, I am quite comfortable with administering medications. My pup takes allergy medicine and puts up quite a little fight so it does not scare me.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every dog. I’ve grown up around family pets and understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m available 24/7. I have 4 dogs at home and am willing to pet sit at any point of any day! I’m just getting started on rover and would love to get my name out there! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both personal and professional settings. I previously worked for a local groomer as a dog bather, where I became comfortable handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. In addition, I regularly care for my family’s dogs by feeding them, taking them on walks, spending time with them, and pet sitting when family members are away. I also help care for pets for extended family members, including my aunts and uncles, who trust me with their dogs while they travel or need extra help. About: I'm a newly stay at home mom with plenty of time to care for as many dogs as possible. I have owned dogs my entire life and could say I have upwards of 30+ years of animal care experience. I have even worked with other animals including horses, chickens & ducks, bunnies, goats. I currently own a senior golden retriever mix and a young golden retriever. However, stubborn breeds are not a problem for me as I did own a husky for 11 yrs. I am fully comfortable administrating medication as I spent 3+ years working as a vet tech prior to starting a family. Please feel free to message with any questions, I will be happy to talk to you to ease any concerns. I recently became a stay at home mom with 2 children in elementary school and one toddler at home so I have plenty of time. I'd love to spend my additional time playing with the dogs or going for walks. I have a fully fenced in yard (6ft tall), that was reinforced to contain a husky. The outside gates are padlocked shut at all times so no worries about one being left open. No dog leaves my house unless in the fence or on a leash.

About: I believe our pets deserve the best care especially in times where pet moms/dads have to provide and take care of themselves, that’s where I come in to help focus on your pet and give them the same energy you would, so you can think about you! Patience, perfectionism, calmness, consideration, these are all things I take pride in. I am a very loving, gentle care taker (who loves to burn some energy off too through play!) I will focus on making sure your pets every need is met while going above and beyond to ensure they feel emotionally happy, safe, and respected by me. I have a very flexible schedule and am available any day, any time! I have reliable transportation and am available last minute if you need me I always start with a clean & sanitary space by ensuring food bowls, water bowls, beds blankets etc are all sanitary. Enrichment activities, brain stimulation, exercise, massages, cooking homemade dog/cat food, outfits/shoes for heat/cold protection, etc.

About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.

About: I currently work a hybrid schedule with Carnegie Mellon and I love having a canine companion to explore the outdoors with! I was raised with a variety of large dog breeds in the home and worked at Beaver County Humane Society throughout college. For drop-in visits in your home, please provide me with specific care instructions and how your animal(s) prefers to be interacted with (lots of love or do they keep to themself, specific feeding requirements, etc.) For stays in my home: I have a large home and yard with plenty of room for play and naps. Smoke-free living space where cuddling on the furniture is encouraged! Potty breaks are usually as often as needed since I'll be home throughout the day on most days (I will provide my schedule during your pet's stay with me). I use a tie in the yard for bathroom breaks and outdoor running since my yard is unfenced, though leashed walked can also be used if your dog prefers that. I have never used a crate for any of my animals, please let me know if your pet is more comfortable with one. I've also owned/cared for horses, birds, snakes, chinchillas, iguanas, goats, pigs, and a variety of other mammals. Frequent updates and pictures will be given to you throughout your companion's stay with me. Currently unable to take any large breed dogs for boarding. My lab/collie mix does well with smaller breeds. My cats interact well with dogs since they have been raised with one. My dog is on Frontline, and I require an active flea and tick prevention method be used for your pet as well. I work a hybrid schedule (remote about 3 days/week), so potty breaks and walks can occur at nearly any time throughout the day, depending on your pet's needs. If your dog needs a crate for comfort and "their space," please bring their own for use. I have an unfenced yard so leashed breaks and outdoor ties will be used.
