Over the years, we cared for everything from cats and dogs to horses, cattle, and chickens. There has never been a moment in my life without at least one dog or cat by my side. That lifelong connection turned into a genuine passion for animal care. Because of that, I’m working toward opening my own boarding facility—one that will not only care for family pets, but will also take in strays and rescues who need a safe place to land. Using this app is my first step in that journey. Pet care is a major part of my everyday life. I recently left my full-time job so I could dedicate myself fully to working with animals and building my future boarding and rescue facility. That means I’m able to structure my days entirely around pet care — not squeeze it in between shifts or treat it like a side task. Every week, my schedule is centered on drop-ins, walks, feedings, playtime, and enrichment. I set aside dedicated time each day specifically for pet visits, check-ins, updates, and keeping each pet’s routine consistent. Because this is my full focus now, I’m able to be flexible, reliable, and fully present with every animal I care for. Whether it’s a single visit or multiple pets throughout the week, your pet becomes part of my daily rhythm — and they’ll always get calm, attentive, and consistent care. In Your Home: When I’m caring for pets in their own environment, I follow your instructions exactly so their routine stays steady. Here’s what you can expect: • Fresh food and water on your preferred schedule • Clean litter boxes or outdoor potty breaks • Daily enrichment, playtime, and companionship • Respect for your home, your space, and your pet’s boundaries • Clear communication and photo updates every visit • Extra patience for shy, anxious, or rescue pets • Medication or special care needs handled as instructed I make sure everything stays clean, calm, and familiar — which helps pets feel secure while you’re away. In My Home (if applicable): In my home, pets get a safe, supervised environment with plenty of love and structure. They receive: • A quiet, calm space to relax • Regular feeding times and fresh water • Enrichment toys, cozy bedding, and comfortable hangout spots • Supervised play and attention based on their personality • Respect for crate routines or safe spaces if they prefer them I keep their environment low-stress and easy to settle into. About: I’ve had animals all my life. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, rabbits, even birds! No matter the animal I’ve made sure they live a full and happy life as long as I can. I’m a college student on summer break so my schedule is very open! I do also have a part time job so that will cover some of my evenings. I would come to visit your pet in your home. Whether it’s a simple check on or taking them out on an adventure, I’d be sure to meet all of their needs.

About: I have experience volunteering with all kinds of animals and love them dearly! Back home, we have 4 family dogs which I've helped to train since they were just puppies. I love dogs of all ages and can't wait to treat your pup like family. I choose my own work and school schedule to ensure the most time spent with your pet! I am happy to provide potty breaks, extra feedings, or oral medications if necessary. I also would love to take your dog on walks! I have a dog, but she stays at home with her dog dad when I petsit. Safety is my top priority. I am careful to leave doors closed and locked, and to ensure harnesses are carefully put on to make sure your pup is secure.

About: I was raised with lots of puppies and other animals. I have two fur babies now, Oakley and Remi! I would love to visit your babies and keep them company while you are away from them. I work full time but have a couple days off a week on a rotating schedule. I am willing to travel and make our schedules work together as best as possible. Leaving your pets is very difficult but I would love to be able to help ease your worries! I am responsible and trustworthy. You would not have to worry about the job not getting done.

I’m chronically self-employed because I love the flexibility it offers. I’m used to taking on a variety of jobs and adjusting to my client’s needs week to week. I will never take a job I can’t fully commit to, so you can rest assured I will give your pets my full attention when they’re on my schedule. Every pet has their quirks so it’s important to have fully transparent communication with my clients. I will always encourage a meeting with the clients and pets prior to the job starting, as I believe it’s best to get familiar with the pets and their home. I often request to visit at the time I’d normally visit while the client is away, because I want to see the walking/feeding/crating routine in its fullness. I ask a lot of questions and take notes to make sure we’re on the same page. I also request the clients to leave me their contact info, vet’s info, and an emergency contact’s info to make sure I can be prepared for any emergencies that may arise. I encourage clients to ask any questions they have, even if it seems silly. Likewise, if I have any questions, I will ask them instead of guessing. I often send pictures and updates throughout the stay. I stay off my phone as much as possible to be alert and cautious. I take care of your pets the way I’d want someone to take care of mine.

About: My experience with animals is over 15 years. From walking/ feeding and watering/ playing fetch/ to giving medicine when needed. Your babies from young to old are given the best in my care. I'm a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to care for your babies! The town I live is small and quiet so your pup should be extra cozy here. I have a cozy shaded (with plenty of room to move about) pen where your pup will stay when I'm not supervising them in the big fenced yard or talking walks.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born! I specialize high energy dogs and in pets with anxiety and fear of storms! I am also trained in administration of meds to cats and dogs! I love all animals and love to play with them! I’m currently working part time at a coffee shop! I usually get off at a decent hour and I can always use my break to check on fur babies! I will care for pets by making sure they are content and happy! I will ensure that they have fresh water and food! I will also make sure they have a clean environment to be restful while their loved ones are away!

About: I have had dogs since I was very little. I have been put in charge of taking care and training the family pups since I was 12, so I am very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I currently have two dogs of my own. One is very energetic, and the other is a big couch potato. Because of the difference in energy levels, I have to be creative to make sure they're both happy and get good stimulation. One of my fur babies is a little on the anxious side, so I have some experience for the more reactive pups. I have experience giving oral medication to dogs as well as caring for elderly/injured doggos. I have had some experience with training my own family puppies; however I would love to receive guidance from the puppy(ie)'s owner as well. I have grown up around cats as well. I have always loved playing with them, giving them pets, or giving them their space (if that's what they prefer) I will make sure your buddies are comfortable and happy :) I am 22 and a student at Missouri S&T. I return to Rolla on Monday (Aug 1). I signed up on rover to make extra cash and also make new pet friends! I have a decent amount of time on my hands, and I love meeting new fur babies. I have time in the mornings, mid-day, and evenings. I currently am not providing in home services. I live with my two dogs and 5 other family members. As of right now, we do not have the accommodations for another pet friend.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life. I grew up with St. Bernards and very clingy cats. Now that I have my own place I have 3 orange cats and one little senior dog who I love with all my heart! I hope I'm able to show your pets the same love and care I show my own. I currently work 3 days a week at my full time job so that gives me plenty of time to take care of your pets! I'm open to taking care of your pets at odd hours. I can do any management your pet may need including medicine handling, teeth cleaning, bathing, etc. I do this things regularly to accommodate my own senior pets. I also have a sweet little dog that would love to play with yours! She is very patient with shy pets and is very respectful.

About: Hi, I’m Sadie! We are a military family that has a five year old and two dogs! Kobe is a standard poodle and Honey who is a golden doodle! I know that with having dogs it can be hard to find care so you & your family can take leave to go see family! So I’m hoping I can give families that opportunity. I am currently a guinea pig owner, I have 2 and I love them so much. I am a student at Missouri S&T studying biological sciences so I love anything related to animals. I know my skills and high level of detail will be sufficient enough to care for your pets! I am working part-time and also in school so I will be able to accommodate your busy schedule! I will always have some free time to take care of your pet. Although I cannot watch your pet at my house I would be able to come visit yours to feed, walk, and watch your pet for you! I can also give medication or fulfill any special requests you have.
