About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently have two side jobs that I have full control over, so I’m able to be flexible and available any time of day or week to care for your pet. Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evenings, I can adjust my schedule to meet your needs! About: Hi my name is Averi, I have been around animals my entire life but have the most experience with dogs. I do have a charcoal lab of my own who is now a certified service animal that travels around to nursing homes and comforts those in need of puppy love. I recently got back from traveling abroad and am looking for a side job to back up my part time job! I have a 11 month lab of my own so she gets 3 meals a day, plus plenty of exercise to tire her out at night. I make sure to take her on at least one big hike a week to make sure she is getting that experience, and am always taking her into public for socialization I treat others animals as if they were my own, I take pride that I treat animals very well and am always willing to do anything to make sure the owners is as comfortable as can be. I believe that in order to make an animal act right they need to feel comfortable and safe, which requires patience and a soft hand.
About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!
