“We highly recommend Mary Ashley to anybody looking for somebody to care for their beloved pets. She is very conscientous, responsible, trustworthy, has excellent communication, and is great with the animals. We were lucky to find her, and so is anybody else who puts their furry children in her care.”

“I love her. My dog and I thinks she’s a great sitter. I can tell he looks forward to seeing her. 10/10”

“Margaret was great with all 5 of our animals, 3 dogs and 2 cats. We have 2 dogs that are under the age of 2 with LOTS of energy. She played with them a few times a day to make sure they got some of that energy out. She also kept in constant communication with us and sent pictures. This is the first time we used a dog / house sitter that we are not related to, so we were a little nervous, but Margaret put us at ease immediately. The dogs loved her so much they all slept with her every night!”

About: I’ve had pets of my own as well as taken care of pets for family and friends all my life. Nothing can replace the love of a pet 🐶. I have had 4 senior pets in the last few years. They require special care. Actually all pets require special care because .. well because they are all special. I’m retired. Flexible schedule. I can work with most people’s schedule. Willing to work holidays and weekends. Would love to be considered for your fur baby. I work with my client to provide a safe and trusted environment in their home according to the usual care the pet is accustomed to.

About: I've fostered dogs for six years and I have been a volunteer at CARAA since I was ten. I've handled all types of dogs with different tempers, although I prefer dogs who aren't escape artists (my backyard is large and fenced in but I live next to a busy road.) Always available for your furry friend! I am currently employed at The Bank by Pizza Shack, and I take classes at MC. I am available mid days on week days, some week nights, every Friday, and most of the time on weekends. I have a big fenced in backyard to run around in, I live next to the clinton dog park, and I don't have any carpets in my home so any accidents are easy to clean.

“Holly was very attentive and took the extra time to play hide and seek with my cats!! lol. She went above and beyond I definitely recommend her for the care of your babies.”

“Nicky was wonderful. She treated our crazy pack like they were her own fur babies. We have a mix from German Shepherd down to the true queens of the house 2 chihuahuas with everything in between. This was the first time we had left them with someone other than family but she did great. Definitely will use again!”

“Jeffery did a great job with my cat! I hired him for a short house-sitting stint and he did quite well. Cinnamon seemed to get along well with him, and he took care of her feeding schedule expertly. The extra tasks I needed (bring in mail, set the faucets dripping for the freezer warning, etc.) were handled. Everything was in order when I came home, as far as I can tell. I definitely plan on turning to him for his help if I need it again in the future!”

Make sure that the pet gets what they need- food, water, playtime, snuggles, space, outside time. With the client’s home I will make sure to keep things tidy and orderly.

Pet care can be effectively woven into both daily and weekly routines, providing structure and predictability for pets while also benefiting owners. A consistent daily routine, including feeding, walks, and playtime, helps pets feel secure and reduces anxiety. Pet care at home varies depending on whether it's a pet-sitting service, in-home boarding, or a routine pet care visit. Pet-sitting involves daily walks, feeding, playtime, and administering medication as needed. In-home boarding includes overnight stays, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment with regular exercise and socialization. Routine pet care visits focus on specific needs like grooming, medication reminders, or simple assistance with daily tasks.
