Jenny is amazing. Made me feel at ease from the first meet through the first week of daycare. She is flexible and helped me with all the transitions of a new sitter while starting a new job. Dog daycare was the least of my worries thanks to Jenny. Jaxx got everything he needed while I worked. Definitely recommend Jenny.

About: They call me the female dog whisperer. I've always had a passion for animals and I love dogs & all the different breeds & personalities ! I thoroughly enjoy all the different breeds of dogs and cats along with all of their very specific needs! I am going to be attending school in March for dog training and I'm so excited to start that! For I have always wanted a career working with animals I love all kinds of animals, dogs, cats, birds, lizards, I had to Schneider skinks .,..in the past. Mojave and Sahara just like the deserts! Your dog&/or cat will be treated as part of the family, just like my own dog is treated. I'll follow your rules & routines. Just give me as much information as you can, & we will stick to that schedule! If your dog sleeps in your bed, then your dog will sleep in my bed and if your dog is used to eating at nigh, well then that's when your dog will eat, or if in they are used to eating in the am, then they shall eat in the am! I'm experienced with giving oral medications to dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend. I do have a Boston Terrier named Bandit who is a little guy about 20 lb but he thinks he's a big dog but he wouldn't hurt a fly! Lol. Any ? S please feel free to ask? I'm home 24/7 at this time in my life, unless I have a Dr Apt. Even if I do have a doctor's appointment, they don't take all day by any means. I would absolutely let you know ahead of time if that was the case! I believe in clear, concise, specific, & honest communication! I have a fenced in yard. I also have a clothesline going through my backyard where I can put the dogs out on a long leash if they are sneaky escape artist( like my little stinker! None of that happening here! As I said before , I am pretty much home 24/7 & if I do leave I am not usually

Chelsea and her family are awesome. They treat your furbaby as theirs and gives them lots of cuddles and exercise. We had a very busy and hectic schedule during our visit with family up in the York/Hanover area, Chelsea worked with us each day on our drop off and pick up times which allowed us to spend time with our grandkids without being rushed or stressed about our furbaby Rascal. We were updated with text and pictures from Chelsea each day she had Rascal. One of our concerns was Rascal doesn't like being crated and Chelsea let us up front she doesn't crate dogs. She allows them to be on her furniture and has dog beds for them to lay on as well. She takes them out for walks and potty breaks and Rascal seems extremely happy when he was with Chelsea and her family. If we lived in the area we would use Chelsea again and again. We are very grateful to have found Chelsea for our furbaby Rascal, she was so good to him. We highly recommend you choosing Chelsea to watch your furbaby.

About: My husband and I just moved to York and I am in between jobs, looking for some extra money and love! My family dog, Kasper, passed away about two years ago and was central family member for about 17 years. He was one of the best things to happen to our family and he taught me how passionate I am about animals/dogs. Being an elderly dog, he went through many medical challenges so I am very familiar with special diets, medicines, routines, and extra special care. I go above-and-beyond to make sure the dogs I care for feel loved and safe. I have also watched the dogs of family members and friends and have volunteered to walk dogs at the local facility, Doggie Style. I have experience with dogs weighing anywhere from 13 lbs to 85 lbs. I know life can be busy so I'd love to make your dogs feel safe and loved when you can't be home! Also love to get a walk in during the day! I am currently in between jobs so my schedule is wide open to dog sit!! I love the extra company while I’m at home and I also love getting out of the house for visits! I’m happy to come to you or to host doggy daycare at my townhouse! We have 4 rooms, a backyard, and a nice neighborhood to walk in with a dog park.

I do have work almost everyday, other then being with my animals lol! Its easier for me, for the morning but will always figure out something if needed in the afternoon Animals are part of the family even if it's our animals or yours. My yard is fenced in its not big, if you give me a list or instructions I'll follow them to the max. The safety of your home n animals and their health is most important.

About: I don't have a ton of experience with pet-sitting, but I LOVE animals. My two cats are my life, and I always do what I can to ensure they are happy in their forever home. I've always grown up with animals in my home, so adding some more fur-rends (please laugh) temporarily is always welcome. My days are usually very open, since I just graduated high school. I'm mostly doing this as a summer gig, since I'll be off to college come August. I have a fenced yard and two cats! They are very shy around other animals/people, but are in general very friendly. The yard is huge, with a ton of space for an animal to run around and play.

Beauty and her pack are wonderful! I can’t recommend Beauty enough to any pet owner! Our dog Freya had an amazing time and Beauty was very flexible when our plan changed to a later pick up time. She even offered to let Freya stay the night if that worked better for us. I can’t thank Beauty and the pack enough for giving us peace of mind when we can’t be with Freya!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 561 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Leaders Heights. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Leaders Heights commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 561 sitters in Leaders Heights, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
