About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life. I have fostered and volunteered with TMAR in the past, and absolutely love it. I’ve had more experience volunteering with young puppies, and the moms after their having their litter (our resident dog is our foster fail that I fell in love with after she had her puppies). I appreciate all ages including the wild youngin’s and the sleepy seniors. ❤️ Love giving baths and snuggles to the dogs that will take the extra love. I’m currently a full time night nurse at the VA in Fargo but live in Barnesville. I can assist with pet care as needed, I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. I have a very friendly dog who loves other dog-friends. I have fostered 8 dogs and can accommodate just about anything depending on the dog! I can work with kennel training if preferred or they can sleep in the bed with me. I would prefer to keep their routine as similar as their home routine as possible to make things easier for them! I have a 5 year old daughter who loves dogs just like her mom and loves nothing more than to help out- especially when it comes to playing. 😊

“Isabel was absolutely amazing, she took amazing care of our two cats!! She took so many great update photos of our babies while we were gone which gave us such a great piece of mind and let us relax!! Isabel is an absolute sweetheart!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of having a dog through every phase of my life, from a playful puppy to a senior companion, and I understand how their needs change over time. Most recently, two sweet cats have joined our family, so I’m comfortable with both canine and feline care. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them safe, happy, and stress-free. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 little girls. During the day we’d be more than happy to take some lucky dogs out for a walk or to play fetch outside or even just to check in with your puppers during the day or night. If your dog doesn’t get along great with littles, it’s not a problem for us as I can set up alternative care for my girls! In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I make sure they get exercise, enrichment, and lots of affection, while also keeping you updated with messages and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away!

About: I have had a dog almost my whole life. I’ve also watched my family and friends pets while they have been away a lot through out the past 7 years! I know a lot about the different dog breeds as well, since I am considering owning a dog boarding place one day! As I am preparing for college I am very flexible. I don’t have a set schedule for any day, so I can make sure your pet is taken care of. I make each pet’s care fit their individual needs while keeping them comfortable and safe. I provide plenty of exercise through walks and playtime, but during the summer heat I schedule walks for the early morning or evening when it’s cooler. If it’s too hot outside, I focus on indoor activities and enrichment to keep pets active. I also make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm, caring environment throughout my visit or stay.
About: Hi there! I'm Crystal — a lifelong animal lover with a calm, grounded energy that pets naturally connect with. I currently work full-time, but I’m available on my days off for drop-ins, walks, and in-home sitting. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always make sure each pet gets personalized attention, whether that’s playtime, a calm cuddle session, or just reassuring company. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including anxious or shy pups. I’m patient, observant, and take safety seriously. You can count on me to keep you updated with messages and photos every visit so you always know how your pet is doing. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like family, I’ve got you covered. I’d love to help make your time away stress-free for both you and your pet. "My dogsitting business fits my schedule, as I can handle dog care at any time. I am self employed as a process server, so I make my own schedule. "I provide flexible pet care in my home or the client's, including feeding, walks, playtime, and attention based on each pet's needs ensuring no anxiety.

About: I've looked after dogs and cats for around 15 years, very comfortable with both. Getting to know a pet and learning their personality and preferences is important to me, I want us both to have a good time! I'm currently work part-time and I'm a student, taking most of my classes online so I can be flexible! Mondays and Wednesdays I'm pretty busy in the morning, but I'm usually free by 2-3pm. I have two cats that are very well-socialized with other cats and small to medium sized dogs. Sometimes I put up a gate and allow the cats to sun themselves on the deck, which they love! In other people's homes, I make sure to tread lightly and let the pets take the lead on getting comfortable with me being in their space.

About: Currently a registered nurse. Worked in a vet clinic and went to vet tech school. Has worked with many different dog breeds and temperaments. Has worked with reactive dogs. I work full time in Jamestown so I would be able to assist with Jamestown pets during the week. Then I’m home on weekends so I could board during weekends. I have a fenced yard. I have three cats but if your dog is not cat friendly I would keep the dog in a separate room where they would still receive lots of attention.
About: I have dog of my own I know how hard it is to find one last min… I have special training that if a dog has anxiety, I am able to work with it and do what I need to do to make your dog happy but also make the parent happy to but just being there is what’s more important to the dog……. ……………. ……… ……….. ……… ……… …….. …… …… I am currently working part-time at a dollar store here in town. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
