We were planning to leave our pups in a large kennel outside because we were only taking a day trip. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. All of David's interactions with us during their stay allowed us to enjoy time with our family without concern. We are also sitters so, the fact that I would highly recommend David should speak volumes.

Opal was so wonderful! You can really tell she loves animals. I felt very comfortable that my babies were safe and in good hands. They had a blast running around outside and playing with the other dog. She sent me regular updates with photos and videos throughout the day. I look forward to booking with Opal again!

Kyler is an exceptional doggy-whisperer and caretaker, and she has been a tremendous resource for taking care of my pup with both sitting and boarding services. She is incredibly easy to work with, always thoroughly communicative, extremely accommodating and, without a doubt, well-knowledgeable and experienced in what she does. My pup is always happy and exhausted after time with Kyler, and I'm always at ease knowing that she will be well taken care of in Kyler's company. The praise in this review is absolutely well-deserved!

About: Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. Your pet’s happiness and safety are top priority so I aim to create a fun and stress free environment for everyone. I’m currently working side hustle jobs that give me the benefit of working with a very flexible schedule. Whatever your needs will be for me to properly care for for animals will be easily catered to during my time caring for your pet/pets. During my stay at a client’s home, I will be able to cater to the pet’s regular routine. I also am comfortable and experienced giving dogs medication if they are on a vet prescribed medicine. I am happy to discuss any needs of the household and go over any expectations of my tile in your space.

About: I adore dogs and would love to take care of your family members. I work from home so I’m able to be a consistent companion during the day, have a fenced yard for play, am active and love to take walks (if your pup likes). My old gal was with us for 17 years so I have elderly dog experience. I’m so excited to love on your dogs. I work from home, so during the week I am here most of the time apart from going to the gym or running errands. On weekends if your pet can’t be left alone for a couple of hours just check in with me at booking! I have a fenced yard, no pets currently, and a son (17) who is super sweet but usually at school or soccer training. I’m able to provide frequent breaks and walks.

About: With over 16 years of experience in animal care, I bring a strong background in both small and large animals, including horses, livestock, and dogs. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics and dog boarding facilities, which gave me hands-on experience with animals of all temperaments and needs. While I value the structure of those settings, I believe in-home care is the most comfortable and stress-free option for most pets. I currently care for two dogs and two horses of my own, and I approach every client’s animal with the same level of respect, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. House Sitting Availability: I’m available for overnight care only, providing feeding, walks, and supervision during the night hours. Drop-In Visits Availability: I can provide up to two drop-in visits per day, including feeding, potty breaks, and basic care. In home boarding : I live in an apartment with a fenced deck, have two friendly dogs, and kids aged 3 and 8. I provide plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I never board more than one family at a time, so your pup gets all the care and attention they need while you’re away. I prioritize safety and trust above all else when caring for pets in your home. Creating a calm, secure environment is essential to help your pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I treat your home and pets with the same respect and care I would expect for my own!

About: I have been caring for pets since I was 9. My mom and I would rescue animals and foster them while nursing them back to health. It was mostly dogs, but I’ve also had experience with goats, cows, turtles, and cats. The two most notable experiences is the billy goat we rescued who was born with 3 legs, and the dog (my mom still has him and he’s the cutest thing!) that was born deaf. I’ve always had at least 4 dogs in the house with me. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs (pit bulls and Great Danes). I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t get along with me. I love meeting new dogs and spending time walking and caring for them. Every dog is unique in their needs and what works best for them. Customer satisfaction from the owner and the pet is always my priority. If there is any additional medical care or service you need me to provide, please let me know. I’m currently going to school from 1pm to 5pm for Information Technology and walking dogs with rover. I am available at anytime weekends . I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friend. I live in an apartment complex near many grassy areas for walks. Me and my fiance often times carpool because his car is more reliable. I always ask to make sure you’re comfortable if I have him come with me. If you have specific parks or areas you’d like me to walk you dog, let me know and I’d be happy to oblige! I’m currently in school so I have a lot of time that is flexible to be able to take care of your animals. Here’s some info if you’re new to this app or you’re wondering what is needed for certain services: Day care & Boarding: if you’d like boarding or day care services please bring along your pets: bed/blanket, their food, their treats, their bowls, their kennel, their medications, and their favorite toys. Some owners seem hesitant to provide a kennel, and I understand that you may be nervous. I don’t ask that to keep your pup in doggy prison all day. I want them to have fun with me and cuddle and have an awesome experience so they go home happy and excited to come back to visit. I generally host multiple pups at the same time and many times, especially if the doggie hasn’t been away from home before, they like the option to be able to go in their own area away from all the new things around them. This also helps to keep everyone safe as I separate dogs when they eat so that there is never a worry about signs of aggression. Walks and drop ins : please let me know where you keep their leash, treats, and a toy if they like to play on their walks. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Let me know how many updates you are wanting a day. For boarding I normally give 2 or 3 updates a day. For walks and drop ins I always like to give walk reports and pictures. I’d their is anything I can do to give you and your pup a better experience, let me know. 😊 Random extra: if your pup is going to have a birthday while staying with me, let me know! I’ve always wanted to throw a dog party lol. 🎂 🥳 🎉 I have many grassy unfenced yard and park areas near my house to walk your furry friends. I always keep the leashes on the pups and ensure their collars won’t slip off. I usually have my fiancé walk with me in case a stray unleashed dog walks up. I’ve never seen unleashed dogs in my neighborhood but I have in some of my clients neighborhood. When this happens I pickup the dogs I’m walking and my boyfriend shoos the stray unleashed dog away. I always want to make sure you and your animal feel safe and taken care of. If you have any special requests or would prefer your animal only be able aloes in certain areas please let me know, it’s no inconvenience at all. Your satisfaction is my goal.

About: I’ve worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet tech in training, but what truly matters is my love for animals. From bouncy puppies to gentle seniors, I care for every pet like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while keeping you updated along the way. Caring for pets is a natural part of my day. As someone with hands-on veterinary clinic experience and training, I’m comfortable building pet care into a structured routine—whether that means morning walks, feeding schedules, or evening cuddle time. Since I’m currently in school, my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve throughout the day. For me, pet care isn’t an “extra task”—it’s something I love and look forward to. When I’m in a client’s home, I care for pets the same way I would in my own—lovingly and with respect for your space. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to playtime and routines, so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I keep things tidy, double-check doors and gates, and always treat your home with care. My goal is to make sure you come back to a happy pet and a home just the way you left it.

About: I’ve been around animals since I can remember. I have such a passion for taking care of them. I worked in a Veterinarian Hospital for a year and enjoyed every second of it. My goal is to get back into school to finish my vet tech license. Animals are truly my passion and I’d love to take care of your fur babies! I work with reptiles as well. I’m currently remodeling my childhood home. I’d like to make some money on the side while I’m doing so. They will have so much room to run and play. I have a fenced in yard that’s fairly large. There is also a house in the backyard that has heat and air conditioning if your animal enjoys being outdoors.

About: I cared for my family dog for 9 amazing years, giving me firsthand experience with senior care from administering meds to making sure older pups stay comfortable and happy. I’ve also had plenty of experience with small breeds and understand their unique needs. I’m not just here to watch your pet I’m here to understand them. I’ve worked with puppies needing basic training, senior dogs who need a little extra care, and even pets who are a bit anxious or shy. My goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and at home. Sam had a blast with Dana D. Drop off and pick up were so easy with clear communication throughout. She has a calm confidence that instilled trust right from the start. And she sent cute pics too! Our energetic pup was pleasantly exhausted after a playful day that included plenty of outdoor romping and stick fetching (his fave!). We were nervous to send our little Sammers for his first time with a sitter but couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.
