Our puppy, 1 1/2 is spayed and a loving sweet dog. She gets along with both cats and dogs and does not have an aggressive bone in her body. We have a fenced yard that my fur baby and yours can play in, and are located right by the bike path and can take our dogs on walks. We also have an extra crate if needed. Our dogs and cats are treated like family members in our home.

I’m originally from Hawaii, which is where all my pets are (I can’t bring them with me since i’m living in a dorm). Some things I love doing for fun are going to the beach, hiking, or shelling, I love being in the outdoors and so does my dog so he loves adventures too. I grew up with dogs, and I recently added a sweet little bunny named Potatoe to my family. About: Apart from having my own 4 year old Shiba (Kuma), I’ve grown up around tons of dogs. My mom has a german shepherd and a black lab! I used to volunteer at the Humane Society when I was in high school and I even got to foster my own! With having Kuma, my roommate has two cats that i’m absolutely in love with! As a college student, i’m majoring in Biology and i love learning about animals. I can’t wait to meet your dog! Since i’m in college, I have a pretty set schedule as of right now. I’m available all day on the weekends (including friday) and monday and wednesday after 5pm. On tuesdays and thursdays, i’m off around 7pm. Hopefully this isn’t confusing but i’m available most of the days, and all of the days in the evening. I think it’s very important for a dog to get their sunlight and exercise in so i’m happy to take them to a park or walk around the block or even just play with them in the backyard/home! I’m pretty good with routines and pick up on things quickly. I’m good with cleaning up after your pet, whether it’s their poop/pee of just making a mess. Whatever you need me to do, i’m glad to do it!

About: I can be available for walks whenever needed, I understand weird work schedules and I can work around your schedule. I'll be home full-time while I'm watching your dog. As long as you are ok with it too on nice days I'd love to take the dogs out hiking or to the local park. On colder days we can stay in and play fetch or squeaky toy :) I live in a dog friendly apartment. I don't have a yard but I can take dogs out as often as needed or wanted .

Over the past 39 years I've had 7 Basset Hounds and each one has had their own unique personality. For 20-years I volunteered for Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California as a supporter, transporter, foster, home inspector, and fur-ever home for ones that couldn't be re-homed. My experience ranges from newborn to an animal's final moments before crossing the rainbow bridge. I understand the patience and compassion needed for senior animals and animals with special needs. My husband and I work from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I do prefer advance notice so I can plan around my two dogs. Please provide clear instructions on your animal's routine and needs. My top priority is to provide the type of love and care your animal needs in order for them to have a stress free experience.
