“Rachel was the best house sitter we've had from Rover so far, and that's saying a lot, because we've had many good and a couple great sitters. Her response time and demeanor were fantastic. She did an additional meet and greet for our German Shepherd to become familiar with her. She was flexible for our meeting times and prompt for all our appointments. For the actual sitting, she gave us a heads up on her availability. Also, we had a long list of requests that she was able to accommodate, including care for our garden. She sent plenty of photos and updates of our animals both having fun and relaxing. We couldn't ask for more.”

My kids are all self sufficient, so now I can devote more time to things I enjoy: playing with, and caring for animals. Petting and playful time are as important to me as checking on pets health. Making sure that pets and their home are safe and in good condition is a must. About: I currently have a dog sitting business around my home Lawrenceburg Indiana! I have been dog sitting for 5 years and I have worked at a doggy daycare for over three years. I currently have one job! My shift usually ranges from 5-8 hours! So if your fur babies are used to 8 hours I’d love to help! I will treat your babies like my own animals! About: You know when you walk by a dog, he starts walking towards you, trying to drag their owner towards you, and you know he just wants to say hello and be pet? My thought process is the same as the dogs every time I pass one. Nine times out of ten I will stop, ask the owner if it's alright to pet their dog, then sit and chat with them and love on the dog for a while. (And I only chat to pet the dog longer). All my life I have heard many cases of, "Don't touch my cat or he'll scratch you" or "Watch out for the dog, he growls at everyone" and before my visit is over I have the cat in my lap and the dog following me where ever I go. My fiancée calls me Dr. Doolittle.

About: I've grown up taking care of dogs! My parents had a Great Pyrenees and a beagle that I took care of growing up. I've dealt with all sizes of dogs! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of margin in my schedule to take care of your fur babies! Whether walking them or checking in on them, I can be available! I will work diligently to keep my word on how many times I have promised to check on your pet or to take them on walks or whatever they may need!

About: I have had dogs my whole life, I strive to make all animals’ lives better. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical activity. I am currently preparing to start grooming school this year! (I also have quite a bit of experience with houseplants!) I work night shift (6pm - 4:30am) so it can be difficult but I make pet care a priority. I make sure to spend as much time outside as possible doing a mix of basic training and puzzles. I live on a farm with an open field and one semi-reactive dog (Which would be put in the house to prevent accidents). While outside I take my dog for walks around the field so she can sniff and dig as much as she would like. I also do snuffle mats/dog puzzles

About: Since I was a very young child I have taken care of animals. My first was Queenie whom I had for 18 years before we had to put her down from old age. I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages as well as other domestic and exotic animals. I believe all animals are to be treated as family with love and compassion as well as getting all the attention and love their heart desires. I am currently available just about whenever needed due to being a stay at home mom who also does Instacart. I have animals of my own who are my fur babies and I am blessed to have a family who is able to be here for both the kids and fur babies anytime I may be needed for a job. I am able to handle walking any size dogs and control them without issues. I also have a crate if one is requested that can fit from a large breed down to a cat, a small bed, food, water, and litter box. My vehicle is large enough to take animals to parks if desired for a nice stroll or maybe to the pet store to get a treat. I will always provide whatever service is requested with love, care, and compassion as if they're my own fur babies!

About: I have cared for various animals over many years. I was a farm hand and taught horseback riding lessons for 5 years. I learned a lot about animal husbandry care for the horses at the barn. I have dived in to the world of showing dogs and have been enjoying it for 10 years. I have also bred a few litters. We own 4 dogs ranging from 5 months old to 8 years old. I have learned a lot of basic medical skills from having a great working relationship with local veterinarians. I have also worked for two pet stores off and on for almost 10 years. I have always had a passion for animals and they are a large part of my life. I currently run my own business out of my home so I am available to work my own schedule as needed. My pets get daily exercise and along with unlimited couch time with myself and kids. During sports season the pets are crated just while at practice and games. I have a large fenced in yard so we have play time to stretch our legs and get fresh air. Potty time varies based on our pets’ and client pets’ needs so I am very flexible on that when I am home. Crate training is a crucial part of every day life in my home when I am not able to actively watch my pets to keep them safe so all clients must be crate trained — I can offer crate training services for an additional cost. My own pets eat meals once a day in the evening but I am flexible to feed client pets according to their schedule.
