About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am at home this summer until my college classes start in the fall to continue my degree in early childhood education. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I have a lot of availability and would love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I Can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

About: Hi! My name is Cora. I'm 67 and throughout my life I can't remember a time I haven't had a pet. Animals are constantly a huge part of my everyday life. I swear, I'm living for these animals! LOL! I live very close to the Avenue of the Giants. I noticed families needed a safe, caring spot for dogs to hang out while they explored the redwoods. About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

About: Some previous work experience (6 months) with the Sequoia Humane Society where I worked hands on with cats and dogs with various personalities and temperaments. Recent graduate who is currently employed part time (weekends), which gives me plenty of time to play with and watch over your pets during the week! I have 10+ years experience in the veterinary field and a lifetime of experience loving and caring for animals. I do work during the day on some weekdays and Saturdays so I would only be able to do morning and evening drop ins for 4 days out of the week and can spend nights for house sitting. I am available all day on Sundays and 2 other days of the week. I am unable to do dog boarding at home as our cat has some medical issues and I do not want to stress him out. About: We have both had dogs and cats our entire lives and cared for them alone for most of our adult years. We currently are without a pet, and would love to spend time with yours to get our fill! We love to spend time outside and can take active dogs on long hikes or to spend time in the dog park. Older dogs or indoor cats will find a loving lap to cuddle on and a friendly belly rub whenever they want. Whitney works during the day and Pablo works in the evenings, so your pets will have someone home with them almost all day and night. We are both full-time students during the school year. Whitney is working on a wildlife biology degree and Pablo is getting his second bachelor's degree in music education. If you need someone to just be present with your pet and keep them company, we have plenty of homework we can sit and do while we spend time with them. We are willing to do drop-in visits as well as spend the night. Unfortunately, our building doesn't allow pets so we can't bring the pets home with us. I go to school a few days a week but rarely for the entire day. I work part-time and virtually, so I have plenty of time to drop in on your pets, take dogs for walks, and make sure the cat has food and water. I can crate pets in needed, and will always make sure they are fed. If your pet has a series of tricks for enrichment, I will be happy to work through them all with them. I can take dogs on long or short walks and to the park, and can also just spend time with them in their yard. Whitney works 9-5 and Pablo works as a server in the evenings, so usually one of us can usually be in your home at any time. We both have experience with older and/or disabled pets as well as puppies and kittens. We will treat your fur babies like they are our own.
