About: I've always grown up with dogs and been around pets; love giving them attention and spoiling them like they should be. I enjoy meeting new clients and their pets; as well as, getting to begin a new friendship and connection that you can count on for whenever you need to travel. Having your fur-baby taken well care of is something you shouldn't have to worry about while you're away on business or vacation. And within this past year, I have gained experience on how to care for special needs with pets as my senior lab is blind and diabetic and requires daily insulin injections. This is something I am comfortable with performing and another added benefit to having me look after your loved fur-kid. Look forward to spending time with your pet! Let's meet! I work full time; so during the week, I will be there before and after work. On weekends, your pet is my commitment for care. When caring for dog's in the owner's home, I'm observant of the surrounding environment for safety during walks or play time; as well as, opening doors to the outside if no fence exists. During dog walks, I'll ensure the leash is secure and keep them safe when other animals want to interact.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was three years old. I also worked part time at a dog groomer for several months. I have also fostered cats and dogs from shelters before. I am a teacher so I am available after 3pm on school days. I have almost unlimited availability for the summertime. Weekends can be scheduled in advance for drop-ins. Weekends can be scheduled same day or earlier for day care according to calendar availability. I offer day boarding only during the summer time. Don’t leave your dog in a hot car while you’re out on the river! Your dog can hang out in my fenced yard under the shade of 130-year old Sycamore trees. Cover is provided for rain protection, and a fan can be turned on to add air movement on the hottest days.

About: I love animals in general. I can understand them better then people and get along with them much better. I enjoy every aspect of being with animals they are your children in a way and they need to be cared for as such. I've raised and taken care of dogs and cats as well as some exotic animals since I was a child. I find it to be enjoyable especially to see the overwhelming happiness and joy the animals show when they get to play or do anything for that matter. As such I treat animals as if they were children and talk to them and take care of them to the best of my ability in all circumstances. I enjoy walking as well as playing with the animals so it works out the animals are happy and I am happy getting to care for them and ensure they are happy and healthy. If you want someone to ensure your animals are taken care of while you are busy you know who to hire! Its always good to remember that animals are not only our best friends but we are our animals best friends too!

About: I have cared for pets since I was 12 years old. I work as a nurse professionally and specialize with seniors. I care for organisms of every kind! I am currently working about one shift a week as a registered nurse and work remotely as a student. I have a dog of my own and I find it easy to balance my work and school life in a way that allows me to provide her quality care, time, and attention. I am able to stay at any clients home that lives reasonably close to Fayetteville, WV. I am unable to take pets into my house at this time for safety reasons (I live next to a busy highway with no fence).

Our goal is to make your pets be at a home away from home during their stay! They will get to set and cuddle plenty, go to the dog park (with permission), as well as we live next to our family farm and on a back road (not next to the main road). Plenty of exercise and walks! We are in the process of becoming a professional boarding and grooming facility. We are awaiting on our customized kennels and designated cat room, and will in the future be fencing in our yard to make it a mini dog park with obstacles and plenty of toys! I also offer a bath for $25 extra but must be asked in advance. If needed incase of emergency and your pet will need to be left alone in the home, he/she will however be crated due to the safety of all animals. This also goes for feeding time and at night. Requirements for the stay : Preferably Shots need to be UTD Rabies Must be fully House Trained (if not then there will be an additional fee due $10 extra at time of departure) this includes any male dogs who are known for marking of territory etc additional charges will be added Must not be destructive of property. Will be additional charges if it’s not used properly the majority of the time, through out the stay. If your dog is in heat PLEASE let me know before hand so I’m able to make proper arrangements. Tips are very appreciative! Thankyou!! We’re a small farm so this is my full time job. Im currently here 24/7. We try to accommodate all clients and strive for 100% satisfaction! Your animals are treated as our own in my home! We take the upmost precautions to keep your pets safe! You can 100% depend on us and I have references to prove!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
