About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. I work part time and would have lots of time to care for your babies. My dog and I have a daily routine and would love to add your pet into our day. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I would make sure to ask boundaries about your home and pet, to meet the pets needs to your expectations.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I connect with animals of all kinds! I've had several dogs and cats, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, snakes, lizards, and a chinchilla. I currently have goats, chickens, 5 cats and a dog. I care for animals the way I care for children, they bring me such joy! I have also captured strays to get them to a rescue, and helped wild animals with injuries. I am very attentive to the animals moods and behaviors, while also going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe. I have dealt with sick animals, given medications, assisted in giving injections and followed food regimens. I have been bitten by several different kinds of animals, so I know how to deal with being bitten. I have plenty of energy to walk and play, and my own reliable transportation. I've done extensive research on behaviors and relationships of pets and I'm always learning. I would be happy to write daily reports and/or take pictures, whatever makes you feel at ease. Outside of caring for my own animals, I'm not a very busy individual, so if you need a last minute service, I will likely be available. I can transport animals in my car and also have a female German Shepherd who is fixed and is sweet as can be, if your pup would like a play mate! I take care of my animals daily, but have plenty of free time for yours! Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.

About: I have 6 dogs, 3 cats, 2 goats, and multiple chickens. I’ve also had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish and a leopard gecko over the years! I am available for visits in your home and / or walks up to 60 minutes in your neighborhood, weekdays and weekends. I only take 1 client per day. I am also happy to check your mail, water plants, and if you live on a small farm like me, care for any kind of critters.

About: I have been fostering & training animals for rescues and shelters since 2009. I enjoy fostering because it helps more animals in the long run, I am great with animals that are unruly & have vet technician experience, so you can be sure your animal is in great hands when at my home or in my care, I love cats, dogs & caged animals & will go above and beyond for them. I can do things that most animal caretakers aren’t comfortable with, such as administer medications, light training, cleaning, bathing, grooming, even go pet shopping if needed! I will treat your babies as my own 😊 I have a huge yard & I live a few miles from a park with a walking trail. I own my business and work from home on my own schedule so I can work around my animal care schedule if needed. I have a 6 month old but can and will refrain from contact if needed. I have pets of my own as well as fosters at any given time, however my house is split level and plenty big enough to separate my animals from visiting one's to ensure safety.

About: I have taken care of several types of animals including rabbits, dogs, cats, fish, and hamsters. I have personally had a rabbit named Buttercup who lived until she was 13 years old and currently have two dogs and two cats. I have taken care of others animals over the past decade and some change including walking dogs, popping in throughout the day to provide attention and meals, and boarded at my own home. I am currently an occupational therapy student at Emory and Henry and am in my last semester. I am free Thursday-Sunday as I work virtually for my capstone project. About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have mainly taken great care of my family and friends fur babies but wanted to make this a job for me because I absolutely love doing this! Im currently not working due to hurricane Helene. I am pretty much free anytime of the week. I’d prefer week days but don’t mind weekends if needed! I have two Dogs of my own a Golden Retriever. Her names Stella, she’s 8 months and did I mention she’s very pretty in pink! Then I have the most handsomest boy Flynn. He is an Aussiedoodle who is 3 and FULL of energy! Just built a fence for them in the backyard so they can play their little hearts out. I wanna take care of your dogs just like I would take care of my own. Every dog is to pure for this world and deserves the most loving care imaginable!!

About: Dogs are my biggest passion! I used to be a shift leader at a doggie day care in Florida. I have experience working with hundreds of dogs of all sizes. My days there included paying close attention to detail and learning the characteristics of each dog. I worked with dogs of all ages puppies to seniors. I was in charge of watching and caring for big groups of dogs. Feeding all the dogs lunch and of course lots of playtimes! I am new to rover and have lots of open availability for your pups! I occasionally travel to Mooresville for a pet sitting/house sitting gig. Other than that I am in Boone full time. I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every pet I care for.
