“Wow! Zoe is tremendous! I was very hesitant in using Rover with my best buddy Utah because he was getting walked every day by a family friend since he was a puppy. He is now going to be 4 years old in July. The dog walker he had decided to retire from her daily walks with Utah. I had to find someone great to walk Utah on a daily basis. After reading the reviews for Zoe and also seeing that she lived fairly close, I decided to reach out to her. She has been great. She asked great questions up front about Utah and what my needs were caring for him and what she may need to watch out for. Utah absolutely adores her. Zoe has been reliable and has communicated great with me. She lets me know when she arrives, she lets me know how Utah was during the walk and her visit time with him, she lets me know if he peered or pooped, and she sends me pictures of Utah while on their walk. She really likes Utah as well. I think both Utah and Zoe look forward to their daily walks. Zoe is trustworthy, mature, reliable, thoughtful, and caring. She is everything you could possibly want to care for your furry companion that you love so much. I 100% recommend Zoe without hesitation.”

“Isabelle was fantastic! Took the job last second when original plans fell through and left me in a bind while being out of town. Isabelle provided photos and status updates for each walk. Being a 1st time Rover user, I was nervous, but Isabelle made me feel like my dog was completely taken care of and helped ease my mind. Would 100% recommend her and I will rebook with her in the future when needed. THANK YOU AND GREAT JOB ISABELLE!”

About: Experience & Philosophy With over a decade of hands-on experience caring for a diverse array of animals—from dogs and cats to reptiles and small exotics—I bring a deep, foundational understanding of animal behavior and needs to every walk. This extensive background, enriched by my work with animal foster groups, has honed my ability to read subtle cues and adapt to each pet's unique personality and comfort level. I don't just see a walk as a routine task; I view it as a vital opportunity for enrichment, exercise, and building a positive connection. My Approach: Patience & Partnership My core focus is on fostering trust—both with your pet and with you. I believe patience is the cornerstone of a great relationship, so I take the time to let shy or anxious dogs warm up at their own pace, using calm, positive reinforcement. Your peace of mind and your pet's genuine comfort are my top priorities, ensuring every outing is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your specific expectations. I am self-employed and work from home. Because of this I maintain my own schedule, which means your pets can be my priority when I am with them. My home is an active and engaging space, perfectly suited for dogs who thrive with plenty of stimulation and exercise. As the proud owner of a high-energy herding dog, I have firsthand experience in meeting the needs of active breeds. I maintain a clean, secure, and pet-proofed home to ensure a stress-free environment. With a resident expert in canine energy, I am exceptionally attentive to reading play styles and ensuring all interactions are positive and supervised. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
