“This was the second time Daphne watched Tilly and was great again! I could enjoy my trip knowing that my dog was in great hands and getting plenty of attention. Daphne sent pictures and updates so I knew Tilly was safe and happy.”

“I can't say enough good things about Harriet. She is AMAZING!! we left our fur baby with her and her family for 10 days. Even though I missed him I NEVER worried about him knowing he was in good hands and well taken care of. She sent pics and videos everyday. Please use Harriet for your fur baby. She is absolutely wondfeful!”

“Paul and Stephanie were great. This was the first away from family trip that my dog has had in a long time and he seemed to have a great time. They were very accommodating to him and were great about sending picture updates to let me know he was happy and being cared for. Would highly recommend.”

“We are extremely grateful for Jennifer’s care and dedication to our dog! She made us feel at ease with her updates and pictures. I can tell Dana felt happy and relaxed throughout her stay. Thank you so much, Jennifer!”

“Cody was extremely flexible with us and was able to work with our unusual schedule and a late pickup. He was very good about giving us daily updates, as well. Would recommend him as a dog sitter anytime.”

“Colleen and her husband did a wonderful job making sure my dogs felt welcome in their home and also took time to answer any questions or concerns I had. You can tell that they treat the pets they host as their own! She is very quick to reply to messages and sent several videos showing us how well our dogs were doing under her care ? Couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter!”

“Marissa did a great job taking care of my dog, and was very easy to communicate with. She provided updates and went above and beyond to make my very nervous dog feel more comfortable. Her dogs are also very friendly and tried their hardest to be friends with my shy puppy. Maybe next time my dog will play with them.”

“Pam is wonderful! I am a nervous mama when it comes to leaving my baby girl beagle. I have never left her with anyone that I don't know. Pam arranged for a Meet and Greet. My Shelby and I were both nervous at first but Pam sat with Shelby until she calmed down and introduced her beagles one at a time. I was particularly pleased to know that she only accepts one client at a time so my girl wouldn't be with anyone that I had not met before. Pam even delivered her back to me since she was coming my way and saved me a trip! I will definitely keep Pam and her 2 beagles as my #1 sitters for my precious Shelby!”

“Bianca was very responsive, gave lots of updates, and was easy to work with! Smokey came back healthy and happy as a clam. Would happily recommend to anyone and would definitely book with her again!”

“This is the 2nd time we book with Casey and I cannot be more thankful for her. Flower loves spending time with her. Casey is very sweet, and takes the upmost care of our furry daughter, always sending updates/photos, and watching over her. We will definitely keep booking her for future boardings!!”

About: I’m new to professional dog sitting, but I absolutely love spending time with dogs. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and cared for. I’m available almost every day with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. Happy to work around your preferred drop-off, pick-up, walking, or sitting times. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll provide a caring, clean, and secure environment with plenty of attention and supervision.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and have almost always lived in a home with three or more at a time, so caring for multiple dogs with different personalities, ages, energy levels, and needs is second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own dogs as well as pets belonging to friends and family. I’m comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, seniors, larger breeds, feeding schedules, walks, medications, basic grooming, and maintaining the routines dogs are used to at home. Having a multi-dog household has also taught me how important it is to pay attention to each dog individually—reading their body language, managing introductions, giving them space when needed, and making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. When your dog stays with me, I want them to feel like they’re staying in a home, not a boarding facility. I’m happy to follow their normal routine and provide plenty of photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re being well cared for. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine since I have dogs of my own. I’m currently able to offer a flexible schedule throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m home frequently, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I’m also happy to work around your dog’s normal feeding, exercise, and sleep schedule. I have a dog-friendly home with a fenced yard and plenty of room for dogs to play, relax, and feel comfortable. Since I have dogs of my own, I take introductions seriously and pay close attention to each dog’s personality and body language. Dogs can be separated or crated when needed, and I’m happy to follow any routines or boundaries you use at home. My priority is making sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of individual attention.
“Ally is the only person we would ever trust to leave our dog with. She genuinely treats him like he is her own, and I can’t state it words how much that means to us. Ally and her family are the absolute best!!!”

About: We've had pets my whole life. When I was younger, my parents bred a variety of animals ranging from Persian cats to Jack Russells and Dobermans. I also have experience caring for exotic reptiles and birds. I'm a dog mom to three adorable Dachschunds. When your animals are with me, they will be treated like family. My whole family loves animals. My sister is a veterinary technician that trains and shows animals in her spare time, and my daughter is looking to follow in her footsteps. I currently work part-time, only during the week. I have night time availability and full weekend availability. Also have a break mid day if needed. I love animals of every kind. I would love to care for your animals in either my home or yours. I have experience with any type of animal. I do not have a fenced in backyard, but live off of a secluded side street in Bella Vista ending in a Culdesac. We love long walks, and can make sure that your dogs get plenty of exercise. If children friendly, I have older kids that love to play. They engage with the animals properly, and know how to respect boundaries. My sister does dog training, and my kids often like to help her train her Dobermans and German Shepherd.
About: Hello! I’m Casey. I had a baby in March and am currently staying home with her and our old lady Edie, a bichon frise. I love animals and my little girl and I would love to help you out during the day! I know from experience how hard it is leaving your animals unattended while you’re at work, or finding a trusted sitter to help when you’re out of town. My availability is fairly open for now, and I try to stay flexible for my clients. I am happy to take your dog for walks or play/ feed as well. I am also open and available to help with cats! :) I am currently staying at home with my little one, so I have open availability to travel to your home and help with your pet! I am happy to help in any way you wish! I can feed, play with, and walk your pet, or even just check to make sure you turned off the coffee pot! I am reliable and will always leave the house secure and as I found it. I am happy to send photos as well!

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
94% of sitters in Lanagan can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Lanagan home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Lanagan.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lanagan. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
You and your Lanagan sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
