About: Hi, my name is Shelby. I am a full-service sitter looking to help you take care of your furry family members and home while you are away. I have been housesitting and petsitting for family, friends, and pet owners in Seattle/Eastern Washington and the NYC area for over 16 years and I love going above and beyond for my clients. I believe that pet owners should be able to enjoy their vacation and time away from the city with peace of mind knowing that their four-legged family members are being taken care of with the same amount of love and compassion that their owners would show. My parents have dogs, cats, and horses and having to leave them all behind with strangers when we went on a vacation was always difficult because I was worried they wouldn't receive the same level of care they are used to with us. I chose to join Rover so I could help others be able to leave their pets with a sense of ease knowing they would receive the best care possible. Please get ready for lots of photos, videos, and updates of your pet's stay-cation :) I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses, but I had to say goodbye to my furry friends when I moved to New York 4 years ago. I have been missing being able to love on and cuddle with animals, so I would love to be able to pamper your pet(s)!! I am able to travel to your house/apartment and watch your pets/house day or night (I am also available for overnight care). About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. Additionally I've been on Rover for years as a teen but my mother owned the account (if you’d like proof of that I can give my mothers account to see my prior experience) but I did all the sitting. Now that I’m an adult in college I plan on continuing it myself. During this summer I am just taking one summer online course and doing some volunteer odd jobs so I am extremely flexible and available. Whenever you prefer at whatever frequency you want I most likely can make it work. While I don’t offer pets in my home I am very familiar with managing pets in others homes. Just tell me what you and the pet is comfortable with and I will follow it. Additionally any messes that may happen I will make sure to clean throughly. My #1 priority is your pet’s health, mental and physical. However the very next priority is your home. When house sitting I’m more than aware of the need to be respectful of the space. I will do my best to leave it just as I found it, or even cleaner.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, any breed or size. I even used to have 2 of my own before they passed away . But now i can’t house any dogs so id love to take care of yours ! I am currently in college at EWU and on the track and cross country team . I have class part day and run part of the day so hard to work a regular job and need something to do in the mean time like walk someone’s dogs or feed some cats ! I have an apartment so I unfortunately can’t board pets but can house sit or stop in most times of the day or week !

About: Hello pet parents! My name is Cynthia, and as a pet owner, I understand that as much as we want to bring our pets with us everywhere we go, that's not always possible. Which is why I created Cookie's Companions! ❤️🐕 I have always had a passion for animals! ❤️I grew up fostering pets, and many rescues are frightened. So, I've gotten very good at reading their body language and comforting them when they are upset. I have volunteered with the Humane Society and other rescue programs and I have experience with a variety of animals, both large and small. I am a former medical professional that has experience with veterinary first aid and I am also familiar with multiple dog training techniques. My husband and I run my business full time, so I'm always here when a furry friend is in need, and your little ones will never be left without cuddles! 😁 My husband and I run the business full time, so I am almost always available when a furry friend is in need of comfort while their family is away! At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

About: 20+ years of trusted experience in responsible, professional, compassionate stewardship of pets, livestock, houses, apartments, farms, barns, and grounds, with skills that include medication administration, senior and special needs animal care, meal prep, farm maintenance, animal husbandry, dog training, and much more. I currently work remotely, which allows me to be highly flexible and mobile for farm sitting, house sitting, and pet sitting. Access to internet would be a requirement for me to watch your home and pets for long periods during the day and for overnight and extended stays. About: I became a first responder to care for others on their worst days. My own pup has kept me company during mine, especially when work becomes a bit stressful. Overall he has completed my little family 🐶👨‍👧 I wouldn't mind spending some of my free time caring for your pets. I myself have a Doberman named Achilles who is such a affectionate pup. I have spent the last year training him on obedience, commands, socialization, food aggression, leash behavior, discipline and recall. My dog is a perfect example of how my style of care is. Highlight on providing a loving environment mixed in with some structure for routine. I receive many compliments on how well behaved he is. I strongly believe that our pets reflect highly on the type of character their owner has. Dobermans are a high energy breed and require a lot of mental stimulation to maintain a healthy balance within the home. I do live an active lifestyle so physically keeping up with your pet is never an issue. Providing them with a fun and caring place to enjoy themselves is the goal. I reference my dog so that you can get a general idea of what experience has been gained. Along with the experience I have had from my childhood until an adult helping care for a wide variety of animals from strays to family members pets or friends while they were out of town. Each came with their own personality and preference on care and I can proudly say that I have been successful providing each with a high level of care while they spent time around me. The breeds I spent the most time around through family & friends would mostly be Dogs: Great Danes, Pit bulls, German shepherds, Poodles, and Dobies. Cats: Maine coon, and Tabby cats “Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.” I currently work in EMS as a first responder👨🏽‍🚒🚒 During the day I just work on homework or study so making time to care for your pets is no challenge at all! To be honest when I am hired to dog walk I just use it as a warm up before heading to the gym lol. When I am hired to pet sit or do a drop in, it is an excuse to just spend time around a wide variety of loving breeds which is a win to me. Anytime I am providing care to one of your pets, my goal will be aligned with what I expect from sitters when I hire them to watch my pup during trips I can't take him on. That will be to maintain that same feeling of routine and care for your pet that you provide for them.

About: I have taken care of any animal you can think of. I worked in veterinary clinics for 15 years. One of the clinics sees all animals including wildlife. I have dealt with a lot of emergencies and understand animal body language well. I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 horse and a rabbit. I really do love animals and love taking care of them. If there are any special needs I can take care of it. I know all techniques for giving medication if necessary. I do have a regular job so this will be my second job. I will always try to work any if your pets needs into my schedule. The care of your babies is the most important so I will always put the animals needs first. I grew up in spokane so I know the area well and don't mind the snow. I have helped run a horse barn so I know how to keep a tight schedule while still making sure animals are taken care of. I can walk, bath, drive, cuddle, play,and groom them whenever you need. I know how to keep myself and home clean so I do not transfer anything from other pets into your home.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love all animals and treat them all as if they were my own!
