About: Hi, my name is Shelby. I am a full-service sitter looking to help you take care of your furry family members and home while you are away. I have been housesitting and petsitting for family, friends, and pet owners in Seattle/Eastern Washington and the NYC area for over 16 years and I love going above and beyond for my clients. I believe that pet owners should be able to enjoy their vacation and time away from the city with peace of mind knowing that their four-legged family members are being taken care of with the same amount of love and compassion that their owners would show. My parents have dogs, cats, and horses and having to leave them all behind with strangers when we went on a vacation was always difficult because I was worried they wouldn't receive the same level of care they are used to with us. I chose to join Rover so I could help others be able to leave their pets with a sense of ease knowing they would receive the best care possible. Please get ready for lots of photos, videos, and updates of your pet's stay-cation :) I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses, but I had to say goodbye to my furry friends when I moved to New York 4 years ago. I have been missing being able to love on and cuddle with animals, so I would love to be able to pamper your pet(s)!! I am able to travel to your house/apartment and watch your pets/house day or night (I am also available for overnight care). About: Hello pet parents! My name is Cynthia, and as a pet owner, I understand that as much as we want to bring our pets with us everywhere we go, that's not always possible. Which is why I created Cookie's Companions! ❤️🐕 I have always had a passion for animals! ❤️I grew up fostering pets, and many rescues are frightened. So, I've gotten very good at reading their body language and comforting them when they are upset. I have volunteered with the Humane Society and other rescue programs and I have experience with a variety of animals, both large and small. I am a former medical professional that has experience with veterinary first aid and I am also familiar with multiple dog training techniques. My husband and I run my business full time, so I'm always here when a furry friend is in need, and your little ones will never be left without cuddles! 😁 My husband and I run the business full time, so I am almost always available when a furry friend is in need of comfort while their family is away! At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old, any breed or size. I even used to have 2 of my own before they passed away . But now i can’t house any dogs so id love to take care of yours ! I am currently in college at EWU and on the track and cross country team . I have class part day and run part of the day so hard to work a regular job and need something to do in the mean time like walk someone’s dogs or feed some cats ! I have an apartment so I unfortunately can’t board pets but can house sit or stop in most times of the day or week !

I currently work remotely, which allows me to be highly flexible and mobile for farm sitting, house sitting, and pet sitting. Access to internet would be a requirement for me to watch your home and pets for long periods during the day and for overnight and extended stays. About: I became a first responder to care for others on their worst days. My own pup has kept me company during mine, especially when work becomes a bit stressful. Overall he has completed my little family 🐶👨‍👧 I wouldn't mind spending some of my free time caring for your pets. I myself have a Doberman named Achilles who is such a affectionate pup. I have spent the last year training him on obedience, commands, socialization, food aggression, leash behavior, discipline and recall. My dog is a perfect example of how my style of care is. Highlight on providing a loving environment mixed in with some structure for routine. I receive many compliments on how well behaved he is. I strongly believe that our pets reflect highly on the type of character their owner has. Dobermans are a high energy breed and require a lot of mental stimulation to maintain a healthy balance within the home. I do live an active lifestyle so physically keeping up with your pet is never an issue. Providing them with a fun and caring place to enjoy themselves is the goal. I reference my dog so that you can get a general idea of what experience has been gained. Along with the experience I have had from my childhood until an adult helping care for a wide variety of animals from strays to family members pets or friends while they were out of town. Each came with their own personality and preference on care and I can proudly say that I have been successful providing each with a high level of care while they spent time around me. The breeds I spent the most time around through family & friends would mostly be Dogs: Great Danes, Pit bulls, German shepherds, Poodles, and Dobies. Cats: Maine coon, and Tabby cats “Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.” I currently work in EMS as a first responder👨🏽‍🚒🚒 During the day I just work on homework or study so making time to care for your pets is no challenge at all! To be honest when I am hired to dog walk I just use it as a warm up before heading to the gym lol. When I am hired to pet sit or do a drop in, it is an excuse to just spend time around a wide variety of loving breeds which is a win to me. Anytime I am providing care to one of your pets, my goal will be aligned with what I expect from sitters when I hire them to watch my pup during trips I can't take him on. That will be to maintain that same feeling of routine and care for your pet that you provide for them.

About: I’ve had 3 puppies of my own an have watched/taken care of my friends pets many times. I’m definitely a dog lover an love to be around them. I’m mostly free during weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm . I had my own pup for 10 blissful years and he was my world, therefore I passionately understand the importance of proper care for the four-legged members of your family. About: I have had pets growing up my whole life, and starting pretty young I have helped out with neighbors and friends pets! Big or small I love animals and want to provide the best possible care! I am thrilled to work with your pets, feel free to reach out with any questions at all!! I have class every week day from 11:00 AM to 1:35 PM, and I am typically wide open on weekends! As long as I know in advance I can fit quite a lot into my schedule! In my home, I go out of my way to make sure my dog has been walked and always loved! About: I have recently adopted a Dutch Shepard mix named Gnocchi(born 5-26)who has quickly stolen my heart and ignited a passion for dog training and all things dogs. I’ve raised family dogs throughout my life and am very adamant that a dog should live it’s BEST life and I would love to have the honor to be a part in making your pups life fun whilst you are away. Separation anxiety can be difficult, but I’ve been blessed with an amazing fenced back yard where playing and socializing is a great distraction. We will be mostly inside with an emphasis on monitoring(PLAYING) to reduce accidents as well as being outside as weather permits. I have recently moved to this beautiful island and would love to walk-in’ and Dog sitting as soon as possible! My availability is completely open and I am willing to dog sit, do drop in visits and of course my favorite, walk all the pups! Gnocchi is a 9 month old puppy who is extremely playful and friendly! We have socialized her with a plethora of other dogs since we adopted her and it shows in her loving nature.
