About: Hi, I'm Samantha! I was born and raised in the Marblehead and Port Clinton area and have spent my life around animals. I'm the proud owner of two dogs—Remy, my Husky, and Rayla, my Dalmatian—who fuel my passion for providing exceptional care to every dog I meet. With over 10 years of experience working with and around dogs, I have cared for dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes, and personalities. I also own and operate Puckett's Pups, a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility in Marblehead. Through my experience, I've learned that while many dogs enjoy a facility setting, some are happiest and most comfortable in their own home environment. That's why I joined Rover—to provide a safe, seamless, and personalized experience for dogs who may not do well in a traditional boarding facility or simply prefer the comfort of their own surroundings. Whether your pup needs drop-in visits, overnight care, or companionship while you're away, I am committed to maintaining their routine and providing the love, attention, and care they deserve. As a lifelong local resident and experienced dog care professional, my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in capable, caring hands. While I primarily provide weekend care, I have a pretty flexible schedule while running my own business and can drop in / do walks during the week as well. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is keeping them comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, provide plenty of exercise and enrichment, and ensure each pet receives individualized attention, affection, and care. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away. With over 10 years of experience working with dogs and as the owner of Puckett's Pups in Marblehead, I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I tailor my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest.

“Haley was great! I had a strange request to stop by in the morning and give a scoop of food to a sweet feral kitty I'm going to get fixed and adopted before winter. Haley went to my home every day and said hi to the cat and fed her. It was lovely and she did a great job!! This was also last minute on my side and she was very kind in rolling with me.”

About: I am trustworthy to visit your pets in your home,and will provide them with the loving care as If they were my own. I am an active individual who loves walking , and would give your dogs plenty of excercise, make sure they have plenty of water and food. Over the year have had many dogs and have watched many peoples dogs and truly enjoy their company. Presently I have a large cane corso mix that is 150 lbs., so large dogs are not a problem. Since being a dog owner for many years, would be able to recognize any problems that your dog may be suffering from while you are away from home and get them the proper care they may need as soon as possible. I am currently retired so I am very flexible with my schedule. I am willing to work with you and your need for your furry family members. I have a fenced yard and I own a large sweet dog. He is walked twice a day, although he is older we still play often I play fetch tug of war and walks for clients pets

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I absolutely love animals and my close friends call me “Brigitte Bardot” for an obvious reason. Plus your pets will become bilingual as I’ll speak French with them! I’m retired but still want to remain active. Caring for other people’s pets seem like a good way for me to do this. I am an honest person with no criminal record. I’ve never even been stopped by a police man driving. I am offering watching your pets in your home. Their surroundings are important to reduce stress. As I have two indoor cats, taking other pets into my home is not possible

As soon as I met her and my dogs welcomed her I could tell they were in good hands. She was very informative with her 3 visits a day and sent pictures as well as updated if something seemed off with them or if they were extra happy to see her. About: I've had a full house of "fur kids" for over 15 years. With the same cat that started my pack, Eko Donald, Annie Rose, whom I've had for 5+ years, with two of her babies, Garfied & Binx, the past 3 years. In additional to my feline pack, current Pooches include, Herbie Don, Athena Marie, Piddle & Frank Barone. Yes! I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats! Herbie, my "vicious" Pitbull Terrier, came as an abandoned 1 year old, now 7, through the "Lorain County Dog Kennel". Athena, my Senior Farm girl, came 2 summers ago, knocking at deaths door, from a divorce case gone bad for the "fur kids" in a state, KY, that does not protect their furies. So bringing her to the great state of Ohio, protected under Goddards Law, was a no brainer. Piddle, my 4 yr old Shorkie, whose legal name is Thor, was a token of appreciation from one of my School Bus. kiddos. Frank Barone, a 2 yr old Spaniel mix of some sort, the "baby" of the pack, came through the APL, from a hoarding case gone terrible. My "fur kids" are truly the "kids", I was not able to have beyond the only 1 I was blessed with who is now an adult. As a Substitute Teacher, my schedule is very flexible and open to just about anything; especially, during those high in demand, and popular vacation times! Yup! Im an introverted, homebody, who doesn't go too far, often enough. I'm open to individual requests per family, as I've learned, just as humans, fur kids are no exception, in the fact that no two pets, or pet families are the same.

About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.

About: I have had a dog in some capacity for 20 years and friends trust me to take care of their animals while they are out of town. I like to give attention to animals I am a teacher in Sandusky and have good availability in the summer every other week! I am willing to travel a little and make sure your pet is taken care of! I follow the guidelines of each person and am very cautious when it comes to the care of all animals and people. Every person cares for their pet differently and I want to respect that.

I’ve working full time with flexible hours. I will make sure to fit your schedule with mine. Your pets are my top priority. I love animals. I am careful to leave everything as I found it and put everything back where it was originally. You can trust that I will treat your pet as if it were my own.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have experience with all sizes of dogs. I also frequently watch dogs during the day. I am a pre-vet student so I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I have classes during only a few hours of the day so I am feee a majority of the time. I do not have a fenced in yard but am happy to take your dog on walks. I do ask that you provide their food.

I am comfortable providing all food, sleep, and medication instructions, along with following any routine they may have ensuring for a smooth transition when you return home. They will be treated just as if they were my own. Your pets safety, health, and wellbeing are my #1 priorities!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my whole life and I’ve had even a few of my own. I’ve made sure they’re fed, bathed and most importantly, loved. I’m currently going to school full time but will have time to make sure your pet is taken care of, fed, and have fun while they’re away from you. I don’t have a backyard, I’m currently renting an apartment. But I’ll make sure to walk your dog around the block and make sure they have time to go to the bathroom.
