“Sandy was courteous, flexible, timely in responding to all inquiries and took great care of our dogs. Our dogs had a great time and promptly slept the next 24 hours after we retrieved them! We will hope to re-book if we are in the area again! Thanks.”

“Cassie and Andy are compassionate and caring. They and their children treated our two Beagles like their own. What a loving family. You can feel it when you walk in the door.”

About: I am an animal person!! I genuinely enjoy taking care of pets, I've always owned 2 or 3 of my own and took in strays. I have never met a pet that did not like me. I have experience with puppies as well as elderly dogs. I am an older woman now that works part time and all my children are grown. I do have some physical limitations but get around quite well. Since I work part time, I can be more flexible with my availability. For stays longer then week, we will have to discuss details. I have lived and worked in the area for over 30 years, I think I would be a great companion for your fury loved one while you are away!

“Kimberly sent many updates and pictures of our Golden Gus and we knew he was in great hands. She had a big backyard and lots of balls for Gus to remain occupied throughout his stay. Would definitely book her again if we’re in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog boarded with Ty and was well cared for and quite happy. We did a meet and greet with another sitter prior to meeting with Ty. The first one did not go well. Our dog did not even want to go into her house and her dogs and ours didn't seem to hit it off. After meeting Ty and his very well trained dog, Rocket couldn't wait to play with her. When we dropped him off, he ran in Ty's house like he lived there and didn't even hesitate. Got a daily update from Ty and Rocket was quite content. Will have no hesitation asking him to dog sit for us again.”

“My pups loved the stay ! I was nervous that they were going to have an issue with the cats but nope! They were fine . She sent pictures so I had the reassurance . Will definitely rebook .”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and have taken care of cats for 2 years now. I love taking care of both equally! I work full time, my husband works part time and is home during the day. We are available to watch your pets on weekends, but can do during the week as well! I have a home in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run. I also own a friendly chocolate lab that would love play with your pup!

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
