About: I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family. I just graduated college at Mizzou, and am taking a gap year before I begin graduate school next fall! This means I have plenty of time and my schedule is wide open to care for your pets. <3 I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!

About: I started taking care of animals when I was 11 years old. I helped family, friends, and neighbors with taking care of their pets while on vacation. Most of my experience is with dogs, but I have had a few cats and have provided foster care to kittens. My husband is fully retired, so he is home throughout the day. He is able to take the dogs out several times a day while I am at work. I work outside of the home but can stop by during my lunch hour if necessary. In the evenings, I would primarily take over the care. We have a room in our basement for inside play and for crating. We have a wonderful fenced-in back yard that is accessible from downstairs and we have a gate entrance. On the side of the house. We currently own 4 dogs and 1 cat and all of them have plenty of room to play and rest. We have a spacious home which allows for safe indoor play and space to separate if necessary.

“I had Maia do drop-in visits for my two cats while I was on vacation this month. She was wonderful. She did an initial meet-n-greet and was very pleasant. While I was away, she completed each daily drop-in and sent me a meaningful update with several pictures. This helped ease my mind tremendously. My nearly feral cats (around strangers) were even eating treats out of her hand a couple or so days in and she sent pics of that. Very reassuring! Maia even put out bird seed daily for me so the wild birds I feed wouldn’t go without. Maia was as pleasant as they come. About: Hello! I am your local EVERYTHING! Whats that even mean? Basically you can find me doing just about everything around town! I have possibly been your Uber driver, your grocery delivery driver, or maybe your kids substitute teacher, now I can be your furry loved ones other best friend! I currently am off for the summer from being a substitute teacher so getting out and about in a fun way is the best way to take a break this summer! I live in the middle of town and available to run by and do what’s needed for your pet! Whether that’s stopping by to let them do their business and hang out with them for a while at home or take them for a walk around the neighborhood! I offer a to go water bowl that is cleaned and sanitized safely before and after use for our walks as well as a paw washer in case we find ourselves stepping in something we don’t want to track back home!
