Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes are during the middle of the day so they can go out plenty of times in the morning and night. I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals since I was a kid, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a beloved member of our family for 12 wonderful years, and since then we have welcomed three more pups into our lives. One of them is my own, Nala, a pitbull mix who is truly my entire world. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including geriatric dogs and those needing regular medication. In addition to dogs, I’ve had rabbits since I was 11. My current bunny, Minnette, will be 14 this August after losing her bonded partner in 2021. I’ve also regularly cat sat for friends and family and am comfortable with feline care. Over the years I’ve rescued many dogs and volunteered at the Animal Protective Association, also known as APA, in St. Louis where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a particular interest in dog body language and behavior. I love learning how to make animals feel safe, understood, and happy. Whether your pet is playful, shy, elderly, or energetic, I will be attentive to their unique needs and treat them like family. I just graduated college at Mizzou, and am taking a gap year before I begin graduate school next fall! This means I have plenty of time and my schedule is wide open to care for your pets. <3 I have always been an avid animal lover-- not even just dogs, but all sorts of pets! I have had my bunny since she was 1 year old and I was 11, and she is now about to turn 14 next month! I have also had dogs since I was 7 years old! I grew up with my childhood dog, Louie for 12 years. Now, I have my own dog, Nala. I have had her for about 3 years now, and I consider myself to be a helicopter parent (ask anyone haha)! With that being said, I am ALWAYS paying attention to details, instructions, and am very vigilant about making sure your pet is getting everything they need. As I do with my own pets, I will give that same attention and dedication to yours!

About: My husband, Jesse, and I love our dogs like family and we will love yours like family as well. We are the trusted home of many family members’ pets. We know it can be difficult to find good care for your dogs while you are away, and would love to be their home away from home. We have 2 dogs who currently experience seizures so we have some experience in special care, and know the importance of providing the extra care and attention to ensure a safe and healthy dog. We also have a wonderful fenced in backyard with plenty of room for your pet to stretch their legs and can provide a 30 min on leash neighborhood walk as well. We do crate at nighttime for the safety of the dogs. Due to work schedule, responsibilities at home (children and pets), multiple Rover requests with same times, I do have a 30-60 min window on drop in times but we will attempt to stick as closely to the requested time as possible. We do offer 15 min drop ins for a reduced price- just ask us about it! We have a large fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who can keep your puppy company. We do have small children who love pets so we would like to host dogs who do well with kiddos.

I help friends, family members and coworkers pet sit whether it be an overnight visit or just a check in every couple of hours to make sure their pets are getting the love and attention they need while their owners are away.
