About: When I was a kid I dreamed of getting a dog, but my brother's allergies meant that was out of the question. My solution to this was volunteering to walk my friends' dogs or offering to pet sit whenever I could. I put up flyers in my busy apartment building and started getting some steady clients, which quickly became one of my favorite after school activities. I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to work on an animal sanctuary that specialized in caring for animals with behavioral and special needs. I was really able to expand on my skills and put them to the test. My love for all animals drives me to provide the best care for every pet I meet! About: Currently, I care for my own cat and provide weekday care for another dog in my home. I also dog-sit for a neighbor’s dog who is fearful and aggressive towards others. I’ve been able to build trust with him by being patient and calm. Happy to build a relationship with your pet/s as well! I also grew up caring for two cocker spaniels and a cockatiel. I work part-time as a farmers market sales person and also do remote website work from home. My flexible schedule allows me plenty of availability to care for and assist with pets. Whether it’s daily attention or occasional help, I’m ready to fit pet care seamlessly into my routine! On drop in visits, I’m happy to take dogs on walks, give all the pets, get to know your dog and make sure they have everything they need (food, water, affection and clean space!) About: As recent empty nesters (we lost our senior pup Charlie🐾 in 2024 to old age) we look forward to providing a loving and calm home for your pup to land while you are away. My husband and I work freelance in advertising and I am also a part-time librarian. We have started pet sitting to add back some joy to our quieter days. We enjoy a good couch potato for company while we send emails, but we also would love a companion for our daily walks on our quiet dirt road! We have cozy beds waiting in every room, including the premo spots- in front of the fireplace and access to all the people-couches - so your pup will always be comfortable as they inevitably follow us around the house in your absence. We have experience with managing modified diets as well as administering oral medications, please feel free to share any special needs or rituals your pet may have. Our WFH lifestyle means that we can accommodate any needs your pet may have. If your dog has a specific midday potty break followed by couch time, we can make it happen. Does your dog need a song sung before they will eat their breakfast? No problem. Can they only lay down for bed with a specific plushy and their blanket freshly folded? We've been there. Please let us know about your friend's quirks so that we can do our best to fill in for you while you're away. We have a spacious clean house that your pet will have access to with a variety of dog beds and toys for their stay. Please feel free to provide a crate if your dog prefers, we have room! If sitting in your home we will be mindful of house rules and make sure to maintain consistency for your pet so they feel secure while you're away.

About: ** Will be moving to Long Island August 1st ** I have been raised with both cats and dogs throughout my life. I am currently a licensed veterinary technician and waiting to start veterinary school. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs/cats. I have experience with both senior dogs/cats as well as puppies and kittens. Administering medication and participating in daily training is also not a problem. I’m currently unemployed while preparing for veterinary school so I have plenty of time to watch your furry family member. I am able to do weekends, early mornings and even late nights. I am unable to bring pets into my home since I have three cats and one dog. I will follow your daily schedule and routine in order to keep your furry family member happy and comfortable. The more instructions and requests the better so I know what needs to be done for your pet

About: I've taken care of animals for over 5 years. I started out with a Leopard Gecko, but got a dog a couple years later. After that, I went to C-Tech and completed their Animal Science program, taking care of reptiles, small mammals, dogs, and even sometimes birds. Rover doesn't offer anything outside of dogs and cats, but if you need something else taken care of I'd be glad to help. My schedule is almost fully free. I've been out of school for a while and I love caring for animals! I don't dogsit as a full time job, but when I get a request I couldn't be happier to oblige! When taking care of animals, my own or someone else's; I can provide the animal with play, bathroom breaks, water & food refills, litter changes, and anything else your pet may need. If there's any special or unique care you need done for your animal, just ask. Leaving your pet with somebody else can be a bit worrying or stressful. If you want to build trust first, we can do as many meets as you'd like! Just say a date and I'm there.

About: I have been house sitting since I was 14 years old. From homes with 2 large puppies to homes with 4 dogs and 7 cats ranging in ages. I love animals and spend a lot of time working with animals with my sister who is Veterinarian. I am a full time nursing student with a full time job. I am completely available for your pet sitting needs from Friday through Monday. Your pets will have my complete attention when in my care. Not only will I tend to their needs, I will play with them, and show them love.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages. Each type has their own needs, and I am here to do whatever I can to care for them, and make their time away from their owner as easy and relaxing as possible. I can provide care for your every day animals, to your more special needs family pets of all sizes. My care ranges from day old baby chicks to 800 pound pigs or even SOME calm horses if need be! I have had dogs my entire life and have two of my very own that live an incredibly enriched and stimulating life. I know how difficult it is to try to get out of town or away for even a day with pets of your own, please allow me to be a part of your pack and allow you and your family to just that while having immense peace of mind that your loved pets are in incredibly capable hands. I am mostly available on weekends only for pet care. I can be available after 7PM for drop-ins at night if need be. During the week I am fully employed. I unfortunately cannot provide boarding for pets in my own and it is for your own animals safety and comfort. We have a little house- there would not be ample space to guarantee safety of clashing personalities etc. In YOUR home I would treat everything and your pets with the upmost respect. Having a stranger in your personal sanctuary is an incredible responsibility and enormous trust goes into this - which is why I would never take it lightly. What ever instructions you leave for me will be performed; Your pets comfort and safety comes first for me before all else. I understand animals and their environments, their specificities, quirks and special needs.
