About: Hi my name is Averi, I have been around animals my entire life but have the most experience with dogs. I do have a charcoal lab of my own who is now a certified service animal that travels around to nursing homes and comforts those in need of puppy love. I recently got back from traveling abroad and am looking for a side job to back up my part time job! I have a 11 month lab of my own so she gets 3 meals a day, plus plenty of exercise to tire her out at night. I make sure to take her on at least one big hike a week to make sure she is getting that experience, and am always taking her into public for socialization I treat others animals as if they were my own, I take pride that I treat animals very well and am always willing to do anything to make sure the owners is as comfortable as can be. I believe that in order to make an animal act right they need to feel comfortable and safe, which requires patience and a soft hand.
About: I've taken care of dogs for a long time. It started when I was young, probably around the age of 10, but of course I couldn't drive, so my mom had to help out. I have always had a love for animals, and I always will. I am currently a college student studying childhood education and psychology, along with playing soccer. That may sound like I have a pretty busy schedule, but since I live at home, it is not bad at all. I am also a substitute teacher, which allows me to choose when I work based on how my schedule looks for that given week. Pet safety is of the utmost importance to me. About: I grew up on a farm in Reseda, CA with as many as 9 dogs at 1 time and also goats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters. I had 3 dogs as an adult but they have all since passed away at the ages of 16, 16 and 17 so yes I take very good of my animals. I currently have 2 cats, Sydnee and Maycee who are 1.5. About: I use to be a dog Groomers assistant and have worked with many breeds varying to big ole Saint Bernards down to little Shih Tzus. I've also taken care of my own exotic pets like amphibians and reptiles.
