About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have several years of pet-sitting experience. I’ve cared for pets for multiple families, including a long-term recurring client who I visit during the week for potty breaks and companionship. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight care in your home. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats and other animals. I’ve even cared for farm animals including chickens, geese, and pigs! For overnight stays, I may leave for work, errands, family time, or other pet-care visits, but I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure we discuss their schedule ahead of time. I follow all care instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets have fresh water, meals, potty breaks, exercise, and attention as needed. About: I've had small dogs as a child and larger dogs as an adult. Also love cats. We have a nice sized back yard to play in. Will be willing to take dogs for walks or do drop in visits if you'd rather keep them in there own familiar environment. I work 3 days a week and would be available after to feed, walk and potty your beloved pet. I available during the day or evening to stop by and check on your best friend if you'd rather I have a large backyard yard and a friendly weimaraner to keep your fur baby company. About: I have been dog sitting since I was 10. my neighbor had a senior German shepherd i would watch once a month while she went on vacation. I also have my own dog who I have had full care of since she was a puppy. I understand the importance of giving them time and attention while maintaining routine. About: Hi, my name is Taylor, I am 29 years old and I have been a dog owner for probably over 15 years and I am one of the biggest animal lovers there is! I spent 3 years working at a well know AAHA accredited veterinary clinic. I would love to help others have a chance for good animal care. A little bit about my own pets. I adopted Charlie, my border collie mix, and Willie, my domestic shorthair red mackerel tabby about 4 years ago and recently added Lupa, my border collie to the mix. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
