Inside is AC and temperature controlled, with lots of toys and sensory items for any pooch. Outdoors, fenced yard, nature, and upcoming upgrades/renovations just for dogs... Our Oscar loved Natalie, got lost in her space, and stayed with her when they went on walks. We will all be back!”

About: Megan and I are both retired, and our two sons live on their own now. Our last dog passed away in the past year after a good, long life. He was 12 years old, and we had him since he was a puppy. We know we want another dog at some point but aren't ready yet. In the meantime, we are happy to help other dog owners. Since we first married, we’ve always had at least one dog of our own. Our family even raised puppy Seeing Eye Dogs through a 4-H club. We adopted one that failed because he was too friendly. Gulliver is the funny guy in our pictures. We’re recently retired so someone is always home. We both wake up pretty early and can be flexible with routines to make your dog(s) comfortable. We do travel with our RV from time to time so if you see us as unavailable please try again later. We really love dogs. Our home is dog-safe, and it gets tested every time our sons come up with their dog. The yard isn't fenced in, so we would keep your dogs on a leash or cable to go out. The cable runs along a clothesline to let them move around the entire yard. Our dog used to love to run with the cable. We are very close to Promised Land State Park too, so we can go on some hikes while your dog stays with us. We are open to taking multiple dogs but only if they already live in the same home.

About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 and was given my miniature Australian Shepard at that age. She passed in 2020 and although I havent had another dog since, I am happy and comfortable around dogs. I work at an animal hospital on the West side and love it. I worked at AMC for two years as a veterinary assistant which confirmed for me I am in the right field. I am currently SAH so I have ample time to walk pets/ pet sit for anyone that needs assistance in their everyday lives. As long as I have notice I can manage anything I make sure I have many toys and bowls of water/food for the pets. I know about mannerisms for pets and am comfortable giving space or playing with pets that need it. All depends on what they want/ are comfortable with

About: I've been surrounded by animals all my life living in the country. I spent my childhood riding horses and had a home full of Great Danes, pugs, and cats. I have currently for the past five years taken care of many dogs / cats surrounding Nay Aug Park, Scranton area, Clark Summit, and Lake Ariel. I own an Arabian horse, five ducks and two cats near Moscow PA on ten acres in the countryside. I promise to love your animals just like my own and so look forward to giving them a lovely time while you are away. I work for myself from home in documentary film so I have a very flexible morning and daytime schedule that I'm sure will be able to fit your needs. I make sure to take care of each pet as their owner wishes knowing that each pet and home is different. I always stick to a client's schedule knowing that animals are very routine based.

About: I’ve worked with so many animals, I’ve trained all 5 of my dogs. Worked with senior dogs and help grow and understanding with dogs in a way most people don’t know how. I am always available, all animals are my top priority. I will plan out my day accordingly to make sure their needs are fully met and they get the love they deserve when they are away from their owners. I take care of pets in my clients home, so they feel safe and comfortable. They are familiar with their surroundings. I work on there time but i stop by every hour or so to make sure things are okay.

About: I love taking care of animals. Animal energy is something I love having in my life. I have had dogs and cats since I was born. Now I have my very own Border Collie named Iris who I love with all my heart. I was always interested in animal care bathing walking cooking my own dog special food. I recently made the decision to leave my place of employment after 25 years. So now I can commit to animal care as much or as little as I can. I don't have a routine yet but hopefully I will establish one soon. I have done numerous overnights with up to 4 dogs. I ask the owners for a printed copy of each dogs habits, routine and exercise preferences. Also if the dog has any leash or food aggression.

About: Our pets change our lives for the better and I want to make sure they’re well taken care of too. By making connections via talking, playing, training, and grooming I pride myself in providing full care for my furry friends. I make training fun and learn their individual strengths! Pet care is an essential part in my daily routine. Each day begins by walking my pup, refreshing her water and food bowls. At the end of the day, I’m cleaning and prepping to start out routine over, putting toys away and doing our last walk of the night. I love taking my pups out downtown or to the dog park. If it’s dog-friendly, why aren’t we bringing the beans?! Everyone is always happy, fed, hydrated, and well played with. Pet hygiene and environmental cleanliness go hand in hand. I like to make sure I’m keeping my home clean for my pets. After all they play, lounge, and sleep in our home. The least we can do is make sure the space is free of dangerous objects or potential choking hazards. We also use pet gates in our home to ensure pet safety when cooking/cleaning/moving furniture.

About: I’ve had a few years experience taking care of family and friends pets, both cats and dogs. I have flexible availability and happy to help out with any last minute needs. I have volunteered at a local SPCA where I helped walk the dogs and take them out into the community. I also spent time bonding with the cats in the shelter to ensure they had time out of the crates. I have two cats and a dog and have cared for animals of all sizes. As a pet mom who has pets with special needs, I am happy to accommodate with dietary restrictions, etc. My pets are my family and I’ll treat yours just as such! ☺️ I have open flexibility with scheduling with my current job and open to doggie/cat stay overs, quick check ins, etc. I am open to same day availability I have a yard with a track outside the home so doggies can get their long walks in. I always keep them leashed to ensure safety of all animals as this is a rural area with lots of wildlife. Regarding cats, I check the litter multiple times a day to keep it clean and help the cats use it on a regular basis. Food and water is also checked throughout the day for our free eaters. I can accommodate all needs when communicated!
