About: I have been taking care of dogs both large and small, young and old, for as long as I can remember! I got my first dog when I was 3 years old, and have had a dog by my side ever since! I have dog sat for friends and family members with dogs of all different breeds, backgrounds and ages. My first job as a teenager was at a local dog kennel & vet office where I learned a lot about helping a dog feel safe and comfortable while away from home! We have a dog (35lb 2 y/o golden doodle) who absolutely loves making new friends, and a cat who keeps to herself but gets along well with other animals when she does come out to play. My husband works from home and my work schedule is flexible meaning the pets are not frequently home alone. I have a very flexible work schedule paired with my husband working from home most days of the week to prevent extended time home alone for any pets. We have a dog who loves to make new friends and a cat who is comfortable around dogs but tends to keep to herself. We have a large yard and go outside with the dogs (on leash) to ensure they stay safely in the yard at all times.

They set up a meet and greet so we were able to meet them, and their dog, before his stay. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times, excellent communication through his stay, gave him medication as requested, and did everything possible to make it a great experience overall. About: Hello! I recently moved here from Maryland. After losing our pup in 2023, we decided to wait a bit and last year, added two new fur babies to our house. I really missed that energy in the house. I have had pets my entire life & love my fur babies. I have 3 biological children & 3 step and all of them are animal lovers too :) Having just relocated, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am very open to helping with your needs for your fur baby. I do work a full day on Tuesdays and partial day on Wednesday’s. I will be happy to follow your instructions and schedule for your pet in your home or during walks. “Alyssa was amazing with our two dogs! They can be a handful but they seemed to be very relaxed and comfortable with her in her home! She sent us pictures every day while we were on vacation of all the things they were up to! She played with them, she gave them lots of love, bathed them (they have never been so soft) and most importantly our pups felt safe with her to the point that they would protect her home for her as she was going to bed. She was willing to accommodate our pets, as both of our dogs have some anxiety and struggle with overstimulation. She is very experienced with many different types of dogs and made sure our pups felt comfortable with her every step of the way. Overall this was an amazing experience for us and our boys, especially for first time rover users. I definitely think we have found a great person to look after our dogs while we are away. About: I cared for my dog for 11 years until she passed, and now I wish to make other dogs happy and safe. Will take care of your dog as if it were my own. I would be available as needed basis. I do have a friend who would help during the day if I have to do contract work. I would give them the attention they deserve to make them not feel lonely. Try to keep their mind active from thinking they were abandoned.
